Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

Vanessa had just sat herself down onto the couch with two steaming mugs of peppermint hot chocolate when her cell phone started ringing. She groaned and stood back up, wondering why she couldn't just sit and watch a damn cheesy Christmas movie without getting interrupted. It was her first night off all week, non-tenured teacher salaries only paid so much and she did have an apartment in Tribeca to pay for, so she bartended a few nights a week too. And it had been a long ass week, and all she wanted to do was watch two complete strangers kiss in an elevator because of some mistletoe that super casually been placed above them with Sebastian and she couldn't even do that. "Touch my whipped cream and I'll stab you with a candy cane, Stan." She said, shooting her neighbor, and good friend, a playful glare before she stood up to go grab her phone from the kitchen counter.

"Hey, mom...yeah I know. I was going to call--" She made a face as her mother started ranting on about how she hadn't told her if she was bringing anyone home with her for Christmas so she didn't know how much food she needed to buy, and she didn't know if she needed to set up the guest room for them or not or if she'd be staying in her room, and she really ought to bring someone home with her because she wasn't getting any younger and she should really think about setting down some time soon. "Mom...can I--yes I know but--I am bringing someone with me!" She shut her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose between her thumb and index finger. Why had she said that? Her mother was going to hold her to that, and it wasn't like she was seeing anyone, she hadn't been on a date in ages. What the hell was she thinking?

If there was one thing that Chris loved it was Christmas. Of course, he loved Disney too, but he loved Christmas equally. There was just something about the time of year. Maybe it was that all filming projects were put on hold and there weren't any conventions or appearances that needed to be had. He could go home and spend time with his family in Boston without a care in the world. And if it was a white Christmas? Forget about it. That made it all the more magical in his eyes. He just loved everything about it. Getting a Christmas tree. Decorating the tree. Baking Christmas cookies. Going ice skating. Singing along to classic songs rather poorly in the car. He loved it all. But he knew that there were some people who disliked the holiday, and his best friend, Danielle, was one of those people.

"Honey, I'm home!" He called as he used the spare key she had given him to let himself into her apartment. He wasn't at all surprised to see there wasn't a single Christmas decoration up, not even the smallest indication that it was the holiday season at all. For as long as he had known Danielle, she had never shown an interest in the holiday. In fact, she kind of showed complete and total disgust towards it.

Danielle was finishing putting her breakfast on her plate when Chris walked through the door. Danielle smiled as her cat, Thor bounded over to Chris, rubbing against Chris's legs. Thor always loved Chris, and despite the fact that Chris was obviously a dog person, he still loved Thor just as much, "Hey, babe." She replied as she set the plate down on her island in her kitchen, "I got a late start this morning because Thor wanted to cuddle, and I couldn't help myself and stayed in bed for a half hour just cuddling with him. So our plans for the day are going to be a bit behind." She explained as she started to eat some of her eggs, looking up at Chris with a smile.

Chris had been her best friend for almost five years. He was one of the first people she had met when she moved to Los Angeles. Their first time meeting could have gone extremely badly, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of her life. She had almost backed into him in a parking lot after buying groceries for the first time in LA. She was so excited about being on her own that she didn't even see Chris walking behind her car. She freaked out so badly after that, but Chris was completely cool about it, and then they became best friends.

Sebastian put his feet up on the coffee table as Vanessa sat down next to him. When she stood, he was about to dip his finger in her whipped cream, but then she spoke about stabbing him with a candy cane causing him to quickly retract his hand from her mug. He blew on his drink to cool it down before he looked over at Vanessa standing in the kitchen talking to her mom. He could faintly hear her mom on the other line ranting, and the look on Vanessa's face confirmed it was about if she was bringing someone home for Christmas. Sebastian heard it all the time from Vanessa about how her mom nagged her about dating someone and settling down.

He was shocked, however, to hear her tell her mom she was bringing someone. He gave her a confused look before he took a sip from his mug, smiling happily at how good the beverage was. He wasn't sure what Vanessa was getting herself into, but he hoped that she was able to figure it out. He turned back to the TV, watching the screen while he waited for Vanessa to finish her conversation with her mom. He would bug her about the conversation when she came back into the living room.

Why did she have to open her goddamn mouth? Why couldn't she just set her mother straight and tell her that she wasn't bringing anyone home for Christmas, and that she had no intention of doing so for quite some time? She knew that she was thirty-two years old, but people were getting married a lot older than they used to. It wasn't so odd for her to not want to settle down just yet. Okay, maybe most people got married and settle down by the time they hit their thirties, but she didn't have to be one of those people. She could settle down when she wanted to. But she just had to blurt out that she was bringing someone home, and she knew that she would never hear the end of it if her mother found out she was lying to get her off her back.

"You're just going to have to find out who he is when I see you next week, mom." Vanessa said, feeling Sebastian's eyes on her. She knew that he was probably just as confused about her words as she was. What the hell was she thinking? "Listen, mom, I gotta go, but I'll see you next week, okay? Love you!" She was quick to hang up the phone before her mom had a chance to ask her a bunch of questions and she collapsed on the couch with a groan. "I'm so fucking screwed."

"That's fine, my entire schedule is clear for today, so I'm yours all day." Chris said with a grin before he bent down to scratch behind Thor's ears. He was more of a dog person, but that cat was just too goddamn adorable for him not to like. He'd always thought cats were kind of mean, but Thor was one of the friendliest animals he had ever met, and he could totally understand why Danielle had stayed in better for an extra half an hour just cuddling him. He did that a lot with Dodger when he didn't have somewhere to be for work.

"What did you wanna do today?" He asked curiously as he moved to the couch and took a seat, Thor following suit and climbing into his lap, purring loudly as Chris continued to pet him and give him attention. "Ya know, you would never know that it was December walking into this place. I can't believe you don't have a single Christmas decoration out, Dani. I know you're kind of a major Scrooge, but c'mon." He chuckled softly. "Speaking of, I'm heading home in a few days. I'll be in Boston for a couple of weeks."

Danielle groaned at his words, "Why would I decorate for Christmas if I don't even like it?" She questioned with a raise of her eyebrow as she sat down next to him on the couch. When he spoke about leaving for Boston in a couple days, her mood turned slightly sour. She had forgotten that since Christmas was his favorite holiday, he always went home to spend time with family, which is what a normal person did at this time of year, "My parents decided they're going on a cruise for Christmas, and Cameron is going to Christmas with his fiance. So the Paisley family aren't spending their Christmas together. I'll be here with Thor." She explained.

Danielle ate a couple pieces of bacon as she looked around her apartment. Yeah it wasn't decked out for Christmas, and there was a reason for that. Danielle had never been a fan of Christmas, as it was just a holiday her parents never really got into. Her parents were away for a lot of her childhood, so she was left with just her brother. Her parents didn't decorate around the house besides the tree, and Christmas day, it was essentially just another day for their family. Her views on the holiday were always sour because as a child, she just wanted to be like the other families, and now there was no chance to fix that. Cameron was getting married within the upcoming year, and would more than likely be spending most of his time with Olivia's family, and their parents figured the two were just too old to be worried about holidays together.

Sebastian laughed lightly at Vanessa's words to her mother before she hung up the phone. When she spoke again, Sebastian laughed again, "What have you gotten yourself into this time?" He questioned his friend. Sebastian knew that Vanessa didn't have anyone to bring to Christmas at her family home, but her mother didn't know any better, and Sebastian was anxious to see what sort of plan she was going to come up with in order to dig herself out of the whole she was now in. He knew that if he could help her in any way that he would do whatever he could. Though he wasn't sure exactly what he could do, "What plan are you going to come up with for this one?" He questioned.

Sebastian should have known that he was going to be a part of the plan, but the thought didn't even occur to him. Normally, Sebastian had Christmas with his mom, but this year she had decided to go on vacation and wait until after the New Year for when she came back for her to spend Christmas with Sebastian, and he was okay with that because he wanted his ma to have the best Christmas that she could, and if that meant not being in the cold for a couple of weeks, that’s what it would be then.

"I might have told my mom that I was bringing someone home with me for Christmas." Vanessa said, pinching the bridge of her nose between her thumb and index finger. She had no idea how she was going to get out of this one. Short of bringing someone with her and having them pose as her boyfriend, there was no way she was going to pull a fast one on her mom without her knowing that she'd lied to get her off her back about settling down. "I mean, I guess I could lie and say that something came up and my imaginary boyfriend couldn't make it like super last minute, but then my mom's still going to want to play twenty questions, and I don't know how long I'd be able to make shit up before she realized that I'm not actually dating someone."

"Unless...I bring someone with me..." She didn't want to involve Sebastian in her plan, this was her mess to clean up after all, but she knew that his mother was going on vacation and she didn't know what his exact plans were because of that, so maybe he could help her out? That was what friends were for, right?

"Maybe if you decorated, you wouldn't dislike it so much. I've never seen if you try to decorate your place before, Dani. Maybe some lights or some of those candles people put in their windows...I think that might get you into the Christmas spirit." Chris knew that wasn't very likely. In the five years that he had known Danielle, she had never been one for the holiday season. He never really understood fully why she had such a strong dislike for Christmas, and no matter how much he tried to convince her that it wasn't that bad, she refused to budge on her stance on the holiday.

"Wait, so you're going to spend Christmas here in your apartment alone?" He asked, frowning slightly. He knew that she didn't like the holiday, but he'd never known her to spend it alone, and no one should be alone at Christmas. "You know what? Don't answer that, because I already have the answer. You're not going to spend Christmas here." He knew she was going to look at him like he had five heads the second those words left his mouth. "I know what you're going to say, but hear me out. You're going to come to Boston with me. My mom won't mind having an extra person at the table, and she's wanted to meet you for a while now anyway."

Danielle rolled her eyes at Chris's words, "Chris, I'm just not into the holiday, or decorating. If I decorate, I'm going to have to take it all down in like a week or two anyway, so why would I want to go through all that to just take it down anyway?" She questioned. In the five years that Danielle had been in her apartment, she had never decorated for any holiday. No pumpkin for Halloween. No hearts for Valentine's Day. Not even a tree for Christmas...especially not a tree for Christmas. Nothing for any holiday. Danielle had her apartment decorated to represent her, meaning pictures of friends and her hung in the living room. In her bedroom she had three pictures hung above her bed. Her and Chris in front of the Hollywood sign. Her and Cameron right before she moved out to California. Lastly, a picture of her, Cameron, and their parents in Disney World when she was a kid, back when her parents managed to still make time for their kids.

When Chris asked if she was spending Christmas alone in her apartment, she was about to reply before he spoke again. She gave him a confused look before he spoke once more, and she shook her head, "No way, Chris. You and your family are all really into Christmas, and you said it yourself, I'm a scrooge. There's no way they'd want me there." She tried to explain. Danielle already knew there was no getting out of this now. Chris was set on this, and there was no changing his mind.

Sebastian listened as Vanessa spoke before he shook his head, "You completely fucked yourself over, Nessa." He stated with a small laugh. Sebastian had heard stories about what her mother was like, and he could fully understand why she was freaking out and under such pressure from her about settling down. When she spoke against, Sebastian shook his head, "You know she's going to call you out on your bullshit if you do that." He explained with a frown, "From what you've explained to me about her, she seems like she will know instantly you lied." Sebastian explained. He wanted to help her however he could, but he didn't know if he could help.

When she spoke again, clearly eyeing him up, Sebastian raised his eyebrows before shaking his head, "No way. They'll know instantly." He stated. Sebastian was an actor, sure, and he faked being in relationships with people all the time, but this was Vanessa. He didn't know if he could do that with her, "Alright fine, I'll help." He stated with a defeated sigh. Sebastian was really hoping that this didn't fuck up his friendship with Vanessa because she was one of his closest friends.

Vanessa groaned. "I know." She said as she eyed her hot chocolate that was still on the coffee table in front of her, untouched. She was contemplating whether or not she should have spiked hers, because she certainly needed something strong to even consider thinking of dealing with how overbearing her mother would be if she found out she was lying about the whole having a significant other thing. She knew that she'd never hear the end of it. "I know she will, you're right." She sighed. She couldn't lie and say the guy she was supposedly bringing had a last minute family emergency of sorts or a work emergency or something. It just wouldn't fly with her mom and she knew that.

That's when the thought dawned on her that Sebastian would be spending Christmas here in New York, likely with a couple of their friends who weren't going home to their families, and she realized that he could quite possibly be her out. She pouted a bit when he shook his head and shot her down before she could even actually ask him if he'd help her out. "Pleeeeaaaasssseeee, Seb." She scooted closer to him on the couch and beamed when little convincing was necessary before he agreed to help. "Thank you, you're the best, honestly." She hugged him tight and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek. "I owe you big time."

Chris knew that Christmas wasn't the only holiday that she didn't decorate for. She didn't decorate for any of the holidays, and some of the other ones he could totally understand, but he didn't really know anyone who didn't decorate for Christmas unless they were Jewish or there had been a death in the family or something else equally as tragic had happened. Danielle was honestly an enigma, and she always had been to him. Sometimes, he wondered if that was why he'd been so curious about her after they'd met and why they'd become such quick friends. Because she was always keeping him on his toes, and he felt like he never knew fully what to expect from her unless it had something to do with her hatred for the wintery holiday.

"If you had decorated sooner, you wouldn't have to worry about taking it all down so soon, Scrooge." He teased lightly, though he wasn't going to bug her anymore about decorating. He could tell that he wasn't going to get anywhere with her on that, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to bug her about coming home with him to Boston for the holiday, because there was no way in hell he was letting her spend it alone here in LA. "Are you kidding me, Dani? Of course they'll want you there. My mom's been dying to meet you for the longest time now. Just because we all love Christmas, doesn't mean you wouldn't be welcome. Who knows, maybe some of our Christmas spirit will rub off on you, so I'm not taking no for an answer. I'm buying a plane ticket right now, and I'll drag your ass out of this apartment in a few days if I have to."

Danielle groaned at his words, knowing she wasn't going to be able to weasel herself out of it. She was going back to Boston with him whether she liked it or not. It wasn't that Danielle didn't want to meet his family, she had heard wonderful things about all of them and did really want to meet them, but she didn't want them to not like her because she wasn't into Christmas, "Alright, fine, I'll go, but when I become Scrooge, I'm gonna say I told you so." She stated as she finished off her breakfast, "It snows a lot up there during this time doesn't it?" She questioned. Danielle came from South Carolina, so there wasn't a lot of snow there, but it wasn't like she had never seen it before. Danielle thought about spending a holiday, or a vacation as she liked to think about it, with Chris, and she would be lying if the thought didn't make her at least a little excited. Let's face it, it was Chris freaking Evans, of course she was going to be excited about it.

Sebastian nodded his head at her words, "You're damn right you owe me." He teased, "I'm gonna play the best damn fake boyfriend you've ever had. Thinking of it as an acting experience." He joked. Sebastian was, however, excited to spend more time with Vanessa. The two had become close since she had moved into the apartment building, but the thought of pretending to be her boyfriend made him slightly nervous. Sebastian would be blind if he didn't at least see the beauty in the woman sitting next to him on the couch, and he would be dumb if he didn't think pretending to be her boyfriend wasn't going to stir up some feelings that he had promised himself a long time ago he would get rid of for sake of their friendship. He had to remember this was all for show, though, and that it was just him helping out a good friend.

Vanessa laughed. "I don't doubt it." She said with a small smile. "And I promise that I will make it up to you, whatever you want. Just tell me, and I'll do it." She knew he was only teasing about how she owed him one, but she really did appreciate him agreeing to do this for her, especially being that she'd gotten herself into this mess anyway. That just showed how much of a good friend he was. She and Sebastian had known each other for about a year now, ever since she'd moved back to New York and into the apartment complex in Tribeca. They had run into each other, quite literally, when she was carrying some boxes up to her apartment the day she was moving in, and they sort of just became fast friends from there on.

Chris wasn't going to take no for an answer. He knew that Danielle disliked Christmas, and he always teased her and called her Scrooge or Grinch because of it, but that didn't mean that he wanted her to spend the holiday alone. She was one of his closest friends, and he didn't think his conscience would allow him to go home to Boston without her, knowing that she'd be here in her apartment by herself. "You have every right to tell me that if it happens, but I think you're going to have a great time, Dani. Boston at Christmas time is amazing, and it does get pretty cold. Ma thinks we might get some snow on Christmas Eve this year, I know my nephews are hoping that we will, so make sure you pack some warmer clothes."

Danielle nodded her head at his words, "I'll pack the warmest clothes that I have." She replied. Danielle thought about meeting Chris's family for the first time, and the thought terrified and excited her. She set her plate on the coffee table in front of her before she took a hold of Chris's arm in her hands, "What if they don't like me?" She questioned. Chris was her best friend and she didn't want to do anything to fuck things up with his family, "I literally could have killed you when we first met. If we tell them that, they're sure to hate me." Danielle rambled. She knew this was all nerves getting to her now. Chris talked so highly of his mom, and that she loved everyone she met, but Danielle was terrified that she might be the first person that his mom didn't like, and Danielle wasn't sure she would be able to cope with that.

Sebastian grinned and nodded, "I'll hold you to it." He replied before he finished off the rest of his hot chocolate and looked at hers, "Are you gonna drink it? Or can I eat the whipped cream off the top now?" He questioned, quickly changing the subject. Sebastian was already looking forward to spending the holiday with Vanessa, and he didn't think anything would really take him out of his good mood about it. Sebastian was sure he would have been incredibly bored without Vanessa around over the holiday. She was always so much fun to be around, and if he wasn't practically forced to stay in New York, not having a place to go, he wouldn't have minded her leaving, but now the thought of her leaving without him seemed sad to him, so he was incredibly glad he agreed to help her.

Vanessa rolled her eyes playfully when he asked if he could eat the whipped cream off the top of her hot chocolate. "Yes, pain in the ass." She said as she handed him her mug. She honestly was glad that Sebastian had agreed to help her out. She was looking forward to spending Christmas with him. Even if she hadn't needed his help, she probably would have offered to let him come home with her. She knew that he usually spent the holiday with his mom, and she was sure it would be weird not spending it with her, but she was glad that he wasn't spending it back in New York alone. "You could have picked a movie while I was on the phone, ya know." She said as she grabbed the remote so that she could look through Netflix.

Chris nodded. "Good, it's usually pretty cold this time of year, so you'll definitely need them." He said. He was glad that she was coming back to Boston with him. He knew that she wasn't a fan of the holiday, but the last thing that he wanted was for her to spend it alone. No one should have to spend Christmas alone, not even someone who didn't enjoy the holiday. "Dani, are you kidding? They're going to love you! You have nothing to worry about, I promise." He couldn't see his family disliking Danielle at all. There was nothing for them not to like about her. "You've already met Scott, he loves you, and everyone else is going to love you too."

Danielle sighed at his words and nodded, "I know that Scott loves me. I just get nervous about these things." She replied. Danielle didn't even know why she was nervous, it wasn't like she and Chris were dating or anything, but he was her best friend and she knew how much he loved his family. Sure, she had already met Scott, but she was a nervous wreck when she first met him too. Thankfully, the two got on really well and even kept in touch almost as much as she did with Chris, "If you promise that they'll love me, I can probably try to stop worrying about it." She stated after a while.

Sebastian cheered like a child when she agreed before she spoke about picking a movie, "I was too enthralled in your conversation with your mom and not eating your whipped cream for fear of being stabbed with a candy cane. I didn't think about it." He said before he swiped the whipped cream off the top of her hot chocolate and quickly ate it before setting her mug back down on the coffee table, only really wanting the whipped cream, "What are we feeling today?" He questioned as he watched her go through the suggestions on Netflix. It was kind of like their morning traditions on both of their days off. They would watch either one or two movies before they went on with their plans for the day.

Vanessa laughed, shaking her head at Sebastian's antics. He could act like such a child sometimes, but she didn't mind it one bit. He was one of her closest friends, had been since she moved to Tribeca a year ago. She couldn't remember the last time she'd become such fast friends with anyone in a really long time, and she really was glad that she had him in her life. Even though he wasn't around all the time, which she fully understood. When he was home though, they spent a decent majority of their time together. "Excuses, excuses." She teased as she scrolled through Netflix. "I don't know honestly. If you see something that looks good, let me know."

"I know that you do, but you have nothing to worry about, Dani, I promise." Chris told her, and he wasn't telling her this just to make her feel better and give her false hope. He knew that his family was going to love her. He'd be beyond surprised if they didn't. There wasn't a single thing he could think of that they would dislike about Danielle. She was an amazing person, and one of his closest friends, and he was really excited to finally introduce her to his family. "I'll continue to promise you until you actually believe me if that's what I have to do." He chuckled softly.

Danielle grinned slightly at Chris's words, "It might take a couple more promises, but eventually I'll believe you." She replied. She took a breath and then stood to take her plate to the sink, rinsing it before turning to Chris once more, "So what is on our agenda today?" She questioned. Danielle was really looking forward to her day with Chris. The two hadn't gotten to have a whole day together in almost two weeks because she's had such a busy schedule at work, and she didn't have a single day off in those two weeks. Now she was on the start of her vacation, and the first thing she wanted to do was spend the day with Chris.

Sebastian rolled his eyes lightly at her words before he grinned at her, "What about that show that you like that should have ended like six seasons ago, but still continues to get renewed. The one about the brothers who hunt demons and shit? We could watch like three episodes of that instead of a movie if we can't find a movie to watch. I know the selections are pretty limited on Netflix seeing as we've seen most of them and the ones we haven't watched have me in it." He suggested with a laugh. Sebastian didn't really care what they watched as long as he got to hang out with Vanessa. It was hard for him sometimes, being away a lot, but the days they did get to spend together made him really happy.

"Excuse you, Supernatural is still on air for a reason!" Vanessa said, shoving him lightly. "It's the longest running sci-fi show after Doctor Who. I highly doubt it would still be on air if it should have ended six seasons ago." She'd had this conversation with him more than once now, and she knew he said what he did about it just to get a rise out of her now. "We can definitely watch it though, although I'm surprised you didn't suggest we watch Rogue One again, space nerd." Her tone was teasing. She thought it was adorable just how much he seemed to love Star Wars and really just anything space related.

Chris chuckled softly. He'd continue to promise that his family was going to like her if he needed to, though he really didn't think all of the convincing was necessary. He supposed he could understand why she'd be so nervous about meeting his family, but things had gone over so well when she met Scott, so he didn't really see why the rest of his family would dislike her. "Well, clearly nothing Christmassy since someone is the fucking Grinch." He teased lightly. "I do need to get some shopping done though if you don't mind going to the Grove with me."

Danielle rolled her eyes at his words before nodding, "I'm down. And I may be a Grinch, but I still do Christmas shopping myself, even though I think it's a pointless tradition. The whole point of the holiday is to enjoy being with family and all that shit, so why do you need to buy presents for people?" She questioned before she grabbed her phone off the counter, "But let's go. I need to get out of the house for the day." She added before pulling on a light sweater. Los Angeles may not exactly be cold during the winter months, but sometimes there was a breeze and Danielle felt that a light sweater was necessary.

Sebastian laughed and shook his head at her words, "It's overplayed. Each season has the same plot essentially. The brothers are always lying to each other, and whenever they can they make a deal with a demon. Oh and nobody seems to want to talk about the relationship between the one brother and that angel even though they're clearly into each other." He stated with a sigh. When she mentioned how she was surprised he didn't want to watch Rogue One, he shrugged, "I figured I would give you a break. We can watch it tonight." He replied with a smirk on his face. Sebastian knew that the two would probably be hanging out well into the late hours of the night, so he knew that a movie was bound to be watched by the two of them.

Vanessa gaped at him. "It is not overplayed, and each season is not the same plot. They haven't made a deal with a demon in several seasons!" She argued. "I do have to agree about the Destiel thing though. Dean and Cas are so in love, they just need to kiss already." She'd made him watch the show with her on more than one occasion, and he always seemed to complain about it at first, but then he also got super into it whenever they did watch it together. "Has anyone ever told you that you complain a lot? You're like a grumpy old man." She teased as she pressed play on a random episode of Supernatural. "Of course, I should have known we'd watch it tonight." She laughed.

Chris nodded. "Alright, Christmas shopping it is." He said. He hoped it wouldn't be crazy crowded since it was during the week, schools were still in session, and there was still about a week until the holidays, but he was ready to brave the crowds if there were any. He scratched behind Thor's ears one last time before he led the way out of Danielle's apartment and to his car. "I can't wait to tell my mom that you're coming for Christmas. Danielle nodded before she slipped on her shoes. She patted Thor on the top of his head before she bid him goodbye and walked out with Chris, "Oh but I talk to him daily. He's going to know something's up. We can still try though. He would be totally pissed when I surprise him at your home. Let's do it." She replied with a laugh as she buckled herself into Chris' car. Danielle was very much excited to see Scott again. The two had hit it off very well after she was done being a nervous wreck. He was almost as close to a friend to her as Chris was.

Sebastian rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say, Ness. I'm just trying to tell you the truth. You're too caught up in their looks to even think about not watching the show anymore, despite how overplayed it is." He stated. Sebastian knew everything he was saying was shit, and he, too, often got caught up in the show when watching it with her. He couldn't remember how many times he had asked Vanessa if the brothers were going to find their dad before they actually got to the episode that they did. Sebastian was a closeted fan, but he sure as shit wasn't going to admit that to Vanessa.

Vanessa scoffed. "You're full of shit, Stan. Look who's talking about getting caught up in something. Who's the one constantly asking me questions every time we watch the show regarding the plot? You like it, just admit it." She elbowed him lightly in the side before selecting the fourth season of the show. He was totally bullshitting her and saying what he was in order to get a rise out of her because they wouldn't have gotten this far into the show if he wasn't at least somewhat into it. He was just being a pain in the ass as per usual.

"If you don't act like something's up, he won't suspect a thing. Just act how you normally would, and if he asks about your plans for the holidays, just tell him what you told me a little while ago." Chris told her as he got into his car and started the engine. He knew that Danielle and his brother were pretty close, but he would really love to see Scott's face if they pulled one over on him and he had absolutely no idea that Dani was spending the holidays with them in Boston. "I'll swear my mom to secrecy, and if she doesn't tell him, no one else will know besides us."
