Abigor paced the living room of his mansion as he waited for his soldiers to deliver the princess. He felt anger began to build up as he looked at the time, seeing they were late. His orders were for him to deliver her personally to the kingdom. “Finally!” He said as he heard a car pull up to the front. He was looking forward to meeting this princess that he heard so much about, maybe even play with her a little bit.

Alyssa was the princess of the neighboring kingdom and the only thing she was known as was the "Silver haired princess" or "The princess with hair the color of star light." Most thought she was a legend since her parents kept her safely behind the gates of the palace. She had only left one and because she had been almost kidnapped she had never left before that day. She knew why they wanted her. She was the only heir of the king and queen and because apparently there were rumors of her being special or lucky simply because she was the only baby or human for that matter with hair the color of hers. She had been walking down the hallway wearing the dress her father had gotten her for one of her birthdays, when the attack came. There was no warning, they were under siege before anyone even knew. The next thing she knew she had a hand around her throat and the other around her mouth to keep her silenced. Kicking frantically she tried to scream, bite, punch, kick, and then she felt a swift blow to her head. Once she awoke she had a big welp on her face and then a bruise on her left cheekbone. Flitting her emerald eyes around she frowned seeing demons surrounding her and gasped as she was shoved through a door to a spectacular manner. She was shoved onto the ground and winced as her knees hit the linoleum.

Abigor watched as his men walked in with the princess. “Put her there” he said, ordering them to place her in front of him. He smirked softly as he looked the princess over. “That will be all. Leave us” he said to his soldiers. They left and now the two were completely by themselves in the manor. There was something about this princess that was drawing him to her. He gently helped her up. “I’m sorry that they were rough with you. Would you like anything to eat or drink?” He asked. He was trying to get her to lower her walls, it made playing with humans all the more fun when they were not expecting it.

Abigor fought the urge to slap her when she pulled her arm away and said no, raising her chin high. If it was anyone else he would have but there was something keeping him from striking her. He looked into her eyes before speaking. “Well I was hired to take you from your home and deliver you” he said as he looked her over once more. He couldn’t give up and he wasn’t going to. “But I decided to have you stay here as my maid” he said. He couldn’t bare the thought of not having the beautiful princess in his home even she hated him. Plus he wanted to know why he was so drawn to her only after minutes of meeting her.

Alyssa had her hands clasped in front of her as she watched him. She was surprised by his words and blurted out, "Who hired you and why?" She silenced herself by biting down on her lip knowing she had a thousand questions she wanted to ask, but knew better. Hearing his words she blinked and frowned before asking, "What does that entail, exactly?" She didn't know anything about being a maid, or anything about being anything except what she grown to learn to be. She wondered where she would be sleeping or if she would be sleeping at all. That thought chilled her to the bones. As she was thinking she hadn't noticed a stray strand of hair gently fall into her face.

Abigor took in her features. “Your neighboring kingdom. The one that you are at war with” he said. Another smirk appeared on his face when she asked what being a maid entailed. “Well taking care of the manor. You won’t have to do too much since I have others” he said. “It will mainly be you doing what you are told” he then added. He gently reached out and removed the hair out of her face. “I will take care of you while you are here and no harm will come to you. Just don’t disobey me” he said.

Alyssa frowned hearing his words and muttered, "I don't understand how kidapping me would have achieved anything." She watched his smirk, feeling chills run down her spine at this. She listened to him before hearing his last words, nearly flinching when she felt him push her hair out of her face her emerald eyes staring into his own. "Why would I believe the words of a demon?" She asked him softly her words carefully picked as she watched him. He was much taller than her, as well as bigger than her. She was only 5'5. She was average, but compared to his collosal size she felt tiny.

Abigor looked into her eyes. “Because believe it or not. I keep to my word” he said. He wouldn’t harm her if she obeyed him which was unusual for him since he was known for inflicting pain on people just for fun. “Plus if I had any intent of harming you it would have been made clear already” he added. In less than an hour, his intentions had changed for the girl. “Now then I will show you to your room” he said. He then started walking towards the stairs, expecting her to follow him.

Alyssa watched his eyes for a moment waiting to see if he would change in an instant. She heard him and shrugged hearing his words. "Forgive me for being wary." She tried her best to keep venom out of her voice so she wouldn't get reprimanded for it. She was surprised by his words and frowned before following him. While she had been kidnapped her dress had gotten ripped and dirty. Now she had a slit all the up to her thigh, revealing her toned leg and bruises were all over her arms from their firm grip on her. "Who are you?" She finally asked frowning softly. She didn't think it fair that someone knew her, but she didn't know who they were. Obviously, he was a demon, but beyond that she didn't have an inkling of who he was, or how important he was in the demon world. She wanted to know why he was not following the terms of his agreement with the kingdom she was at war with. Glancing around, she couldn't help but let her eyes wander, her hands still trembling, but this time it was because she was cold. She felt numb at the moment and knew that the seriousness of her situation would most likely kick in soon enough.

Abigor lead her up the stairs to where bedrooms were. He normally made his maids sleep in the basement but he wasn’t going to make the princess do that. “My name Is Abigor” he said as he walked towards a bedroom that was at the end of the hall. He opened the door to show a very large bedroom that was gorgeous. It had a large bed with a canopy. “This will be your room” he said as he looked her over at her torn clothes. “There is some clothes you can change into in the dresser” he told her. He figured what he was feeling towards her was just a spell and it would pass.

Alyssa was wary of Abigor, but had a feeling that he was going to keep his word. Whether she kept hers or not was another matter entirely. She was already conjuring up different schemes involving her escape. One thing that made her pause, however, was the fact that she didn't entirely know where she was located. Hearing his words, she nodded. She looked inside the room and blinked hearing his words. It was quite luxurious -- especially for a simple maid. She turned to look at him and gave him a nod. "Maids don't have a special dress?" She asked him her hands still clasped, resting on her stomach as she spoke, her eyes flitting around the room. She gently touched the cherry wood dresser to her left, allowing her hand to stroke it lightly. She turned back to look at Abigor her emerald eyes sparkling slightly from the light.

Abigor studied her reactions as he stood by the door. “Well you are not just a simple maid. You are a princess. You shall be treated as such even if you serve me” he said with a soft smile on his face. His eyes met hers once more. “Hope you will enjoy your stay here” he said being sincere. This woman had a spell on him and he didn’t know why. Demons were said to have one person they are supposed to be with, they connect to but this girl was a human not a demon so it threw him for a loop.

Alyssa turned looking back at him and said, "Yet, you had me kidnapped and brought here." She told him. "If you have no plans of giving me over to the rival King, so he can marry and rape me then later murder me, why have you kept me?" She asked him turning her verdant gaze up to watch him. She heard his words and frowned softly as she did so not knowing how to respond. She just had so many questions and it seemed as if no one wanted to respond at all. She felt her braid break and sighed as all of her silver hair fall around her shoulders and face reaching all the way to the small of her back.

Abigor sighed softly as he watched her. Hearing her words but unsure how to answer him. He decided that he would tell her some but not all of it, not wanting her to see him vulnerable plus he could tell she was smart and he figured she would use it against him. “I know what his his plans were I couldn’t let you go through that. As my maid, you will be protected. Your family won’t be able to protect you” he said, not telling her the feeling he had towards her.

Alyssa turned her her back to meet his gaze hearing his words. She ignored the crackle of electricity she felt when she looked at him knowing that it was just probably a spark of fear more than anything. Listening to him, she couldn't help but laugh and shook her head. "I didn't think a demon would care." She nearly spit at him knowing that they had taken almost everything from her people. They may not have hurt her, but her subjects had lost family to these - these monsters and she didn't think she could ever see them as anything else knowing that they had burned and pillaged villages within her kingdom.

Abigor watched her as she laughed at his words. He felt anger start to build but he pushed it down. After he calmed himself, his eyes met hers. “We do care about some things. Not a lot admittedly” he said to her. He didn’t want to hurt her or scare her which worried him since demons including himself lived for it. “Please respect me and no harm will come to you” he then added.

Alyssa sighed listening to him, deciding not to respond and instead went and looked out the window wondering how her family was and wished she could just escape this place and run back to them. Glancing back at him she just gave a slight nod as she looked out the window again watching frozen flurries begin to fall from the sky. A small sad smile filled her features as she watched it, before taking her hair down feeling it fall down to below her butt and shook it out a bit, silvery hair flying before it just framed her face elegantly.
