AudreyWhen I saw Matt carrying Maria, I let out a choked sob as I started to shake my head. "Let her go, you dirty bastard!" I shouted, trying pointlessly to tug on my wrists. It was useless to try and get free but I wanted to prove some sort of point. I glared at the boys as they climbed into the front of the truck before whirling around to face Maria, shaking my head as I tried to leaned as close to her as I could.
"It's not your fault, Maria. These guys are fuckin' crazy!" I hissed despite my tears, wishing more than anything I could do something to help my best friend.
MattThe moment that Zacky pulled up to our
cabin, I climbed out of the truck. Starting to whistle lowly again, I tossed the gun strap over my shoulder before heading toward the truck bed. "Well, hello ladies!" I said, grinning as I let the tailgate down. "You ladies come here often or..?" I chuckled at my own little joke, yanking my knife from my belt. I cut the rope that attached Maria to the truck before tossing her over my shoulder. Glancing toward Audrey, I waved. "Have fun, darling."
I carried Maria inside, whistling quietly as I headed for the stairs that would lead to the two master bedrooms in the cabin. One belonged to Zacky and one to myself. I tossed Maria onto the bed, wasting no time in cuffing her wrists to the headboard before removing the ropes. "If you relax, I'll tend to your wound. Or I can just leave the bullet in your leg," I spat when Maria wouldn't calm down.
