Ella found herself signing off for an art class, where she would pose every so often. She had her materials and books and was on her way, “professor Evans is a total babe!” She heard a couple girls gush. Ella didn’t think much of it but walked into the classroom and took a seat towards the middle of the room. Ella looked over her syllabus as she waited for her “hot” professor to show up.

Jack wasn’t much of a relationship kind of man, he just wanted to have fun. He’d been married before and that didn’t turn out well for him, All he was looking for was a good time. Most would say he was too old to play the field so he proved them wrong. However, now he found himself trying to move on and actually settle down with someone. As he headed for his friends’s home for New Years he was hoping he’d meet a nice woman.

Chris sighed to himself as he gathered the few things he needed for his art class. Today was going to be a good day, a matter of fact most of the days for him were good. Going over a mental check list for all the things that he needed for his class, Chris walked out of his office, and down the hall. Seeing a couple of fellow students walk by, he nodded to them and gave them a simple hello. Arriving to the classroom, Chris put his hand on the doorknob, getting ready to turn it and walk in, but not before taking one final deep breath in then out. Stepping into the class, a small smile pressed onto his face. "Good Afternoon Class!" He said with a warm smile. "I'm Professor Evans." He introduced himself. "Please pull out the syllabus if you printed it out like I asked. If not, there are extra copies on the table in the front." He said as he placed the papers on the table. Going back to the teaching podium, Chris had pulled out the class roster sheet. "Since this is a new class, I would like to go over the class roster, making sure that everyone is this class is on my list." He said as he began to call out names. As names got called, Chris would ask the students one or two questions, mainly why they chose to take this class and what they hoped to get out of it. "Emily Stone." He then called out, looking up to see who that was. This was his way of getting to know a name with a face. "Miss Stone, please tell me what I can do, as your professor, to help you succeed in this class?" He asked.

Parties was not a thing for Katie, but she didn't really have a choice, considering that this New Years Eve Party was being held at her house. It was something that happened every year, and she knew about it. So, she could never understand why she didn't make plans to be out of the house. For her parents, they had this rule that if she didn't go out for whatever holiday or event it was that they were celebrating for, then she needed to make an appearance at the party that they were hosting. In her whole entire life of 23 years, Katie had only been able to get out of these parties once or twice; one being for the time that she had the Stomach Bug Virus and the other time being when she had a very serious English paper due during her freshmen year in college. Other than that, Miss Katherine Walker was always at her parents parties. The good thing for Katie was that she did know most of the guests and she had the chance to go around, and spend time with some people that she could tolerate all night. As the guests started to follow in that night for what her mother called "The Best New Year's Eve Party Ever," Katie was finishing up getting ready, applying her lipstick, she stepped out of the room, walking down the stairs, showing off the new gown that mother picked out for her.

Ella was a photography major so, art would somehow be a part of her major. She was looking through the syllabus scanning it quickly looking up when the professor introduced himself. She swalllowed hard, those girls weren’t kidding, he was very handsome indeed. Here she sat nervously now, this man was going to teach her art. Ten minutes later of role calling she stood up when he called her name, as she fixed her skirt Ella looked at him. She placed some of her hair behind her ear, “Well, I would like her a better understanding of how to point out art, from shapes and colors to telling the difference between real and fake. By that i mean, a piece made by Picasso and a carbon copy. I want to know details, if I can grasp that it’d be great. I’m suee you can help with that” she smiled shyly before sitting back down.

It didn’t take long for Jack to arrive to the Walkers’ home, maybe an hour from where he lived. It didn’t matter, he was going to have a good time, drink some moonshine and maybe meet a wonderful woman. Anything was possible, parking his car Jack hopped out and headed towards the door. He fixed his hat and knocked twice before waiting for an answer. Jack placed his hands in his Jean pockets as he waited. He was ready for a new year and he had resolutions he wanted to start on.

Chris couldn't help but smile as he listened to Ella giving her reasonings for taking this class and such. He nodded as she explained her reasons and just smiled. "Well thank you for that wonderful reasoning. I truly hope that I can live up to that standard as your professor." He grinned, giving her a little wink. He then quickly finished the role call list before turning his attention to the book that was on the podium. "Well today we are going to go over Chapter 1, possible Chapter 2 in the book. If you got my email prior to the today's first class, I wanted you guys to review Chapter 1 before coming in today." He said before looking at his notes that went with the Chapter. Looking at the class, he gave them all a charming smile before starting to teach.

As more people arrived, Katie just kept the same smile on her face as she welcomed them into the house. Without even having to ask anyone, she just knew that tonight was definitely going to be one of those days, and she was just mentally hoping to herself tat she would be able to get through this party. As more and more people walked through, Katie finally made her way away from the door, getting herself glass of sweet tea. She was rather tempted to go straight for the bar, but she decided to wait a little bit longer. After she got her glass of tea, Katie made her way on the front porch of her family's house, just admiring the night's sky.

Ella smiled and nodded before taking a seat, she couldn’t help but feel like professor Evans was staring at her. Quite frequently as she wrote down notes and went over the first chapter, raising her hand to ask a question. “Are going to do any hands on projects? Like photography or sculptures, maybe some painting?” She was curious as to know how hands on this class was, biting her lip. She knew he had other art classes and wondered if she could model for any of them. Along with being a photographer Ella modeled as a hobby which she enjoyed,

Jack got to greeting everyone as soon as he walked in. Saying hello to his friends and their family. “So where’s Katie at? I haven’t seen that girl in years” he chuckled. It had been quite awhile since he’s seen her maybe the last time he saw her was when she was graduating high school. Jack was sure she had grown some over the course of five years. He took a beer before going outside for a bit, looking over at a blond who was by the porch, jack walked over and smiled, “so how do you know the family?0 he asked with a smile,

Chris looked to Ella smiled when, acknowledging Ella and her question. "Of course." He answered when she asked about hands on projects. "A matter of fact, I highly encourage hands on projects." He said with a charming smirk. "Whatever you would like to do, photography, sculptures...you let me know." He smirked before thinking about something. "Miss Stone, if you would see me after class and we can talk about that." He said with a charming grin. He then proceed with his class, going over some things. At the end of the class, Chris gave their first homework assignment and then dismissed, waiting to see if Ella would stay behind like he told her to.

Katie was looking up at the stars when she heard someone's voice. It was a very familiar voice that she felt like she hadn't heard in such a long time, but she wasn't completely sure. "I'm Carrie and Frank's Daughter," She said as she she drew her attention away from the stars. When she looked to the person who was standing next to her, Katie couldn't' help but smile. She knew right away who this person was. She laughed a little, shaking her head. "Well, well...Jack Peterson. Look at you!" She said with a sweet smile. "It's been way too long." She commented as she turned herself to face him more.

Ella’s small smile grew wide, and nodded after her told her to see him after class. Ella wondered what professor Evans could possibly want to discuss with her. After class had ended Ella gathered her belongings and walked up front to see what he wanted to discuss with her. “Hi” she said softly holding some books in her arms.

Jack smiled widely finally recognizing the young woman in front of him. How she’s grown into a beautiful woman. “In the. Flesh!” He chuckled getting closer to Katie, “You look fantastic Katie, definitely grew quite a bit huh? It has been way too long” he laughed pulling her into a hug.

Chris watched as his watched the class file out of the room. When Ella came up to him, he couldn't help but smile a little. He was gathering his papers then closed his book, and just smiled at her cuteness. He stopped himself, telling him that he couldn't find her to be cute. "Hi." He chuckled as he leaned into the podium a little. "Listen, I'm thinking that I wold like to take you up on that offering with hands on projects. I just would like to know what you would like to do. Photography is something that I am hinting for getting from you. I just want to know what exactly you would like to do. Also, I would like to know some things that you'd like to personal tackle with art."

When Jack recognized her, Katie couldn't help but smile a little. "Yeah, I guess I have grown a bit since you last seen me." She blushed as she allowed herself to be pulled into a hug. When they pulled away, Katie just looked at him. Gosh, she felt like he had never changed. Hell, he even looked sexier with the age. "Jack, I swear, you haven't changed at all." She smiled. "Are you still the single ladies man." She teased him a little.

Ella stared at her professor he was insanely handsome and she felt this weird connection with him for some reason. “I would love to, photography is my major but i also dabble in art, painting, sculpting, I mean I model too.. so whatever you had in mind I’d pribably do it” she smiled.

Jack smiled wide at the young blond, she has certainly matured since he last saw her. Blossomed into a beautiful woman that’s for sure. He laughed at her remark, “nope haven’t changed st all yeah, I guess I’m still single that’s not gonna change “ he chuckled.

Chris raised an eyebrow when she told him that she did modeling too. "Hmm...this is good to know." He said with a smirk. "Modeling...I could use someone who is willing to be a model." He said with a sincere smile. "If this is something you might be interested in, then I look forward to working with you." He said as he pulled out a post-it note, jotting down something on it. He then handed her the yellow post-it note and smiled. "Here's my number, this way we can keep in contact outside of class."

Katie smirked a little, "Well don't say that's not gonna change. Because you know anything can happen." She said with a smirk as she took another sip of her sweet tea. She looked at his hand, seeing that he didn't have a drink in hand. "Do you want something to drink? We've got all the kind of liquor you can imagine." She leaned up against the porch, just admiring him. After all this time, Jack hadn't changed, from the way he looked down to his bachelor lifestyle. "So what have you been up to since I last seen you?" She asked.

Ella placed some of her hair behind her ear and nodded l, “oh yeah? What are you looking for exactly?” Ella took the post it note and looked at it. Most would simply give their work email, but not a personal number. “Oh, okay. Thank you sir,” she spoke softly.

Jack smiled,”true, what does that mean!0 he asked with a chuckle. Jack looked closely at Katie before walking over to her, closer, “I think I’ll be fine for awhile... “ he smiled. “I haven’t been up to much just work and building my home, remodeling . What about you?”

Chris smiled to her, “and please call me Chris. Sir is way too formal.” He grinned with a wink. “I’ve got a couple of photo shoots where I need a model. If you would like, we can discuss them later and you can pick which one you would like to be a part of. It could count as extra credit, if you would like.”

“Well i graduated college as a teacher. Mom was wanting me to be a nurse, but Daddy told me to follow my dream.” She smiled as she brushed some hair out of her face. “This is my second year as a high school teacher, and allow me to say its very interesting.” She laughed lightly.

Ella smiled, “your my professor I have to call you sir,” she may have been flirting a bit. “Oh yeah? What kind of photo shoots, I’d love to try out actually,” Ella was getting a bit nervous now. “Oh sure, I could always use extra credit in case I have bad grades.”

Jsck listened as Katie spoke, “sounds like you’ve had quite a busy few years then huh? Always following dreams is a good thing. Don’t let people tell you otherwise. Oh yeah? How interesting?” He asked with a smile.

Chris chuckled a little at her, shaking his head a little. “You don’t have to call me Sir. But you can call me whenever you would like.” He winked to her as he stayed leaning against the podium. “Well I want to make sure you enjoy this class, especially since you have such a passion for art classes like this.” He smiled.

Katie nodded, “Yes interesting.” She smiled as she looked to him. “You’d be surprised how many junior and senior boys try to “make their moves” on their teacher to get extra credit or to get their Grade raised because they don’t want to disappoint their coaches. I don’t partake in any of that, but it’s just interesting how they try.” She said. “Which I don’t understand why they would even try with me...” She shook her head. “It’s things like that.”

Ella giggled softly, like a freaking school girl, she shook her head,”oh, I’m aure I’ll enjoy the class professor. I have passion for the arts.” She but her lip, “so what did you have in my mind? When did you need me?”

Jack let out a hearty laugh, “wow, boys hitting on their teacher, whose young and beautiful, you sure it’s just for grades?” He teased. “Well, Good. I hoped you didn’t partake in any of that.” Jack followed Katie inside so he could greet her parents.

He smirked a little as he watched her. He couldn't help but think it was kind of cute how she was practically freaking out like a little school girl. He wasn't going to say anything about it, but he did find it really cute. "Let me look over my projects and then I'll be in contact with you to let you know." He said with a small smile. "I have a good feeling that I will be using you a lot in some of, if not most of my projects.' He grinned.

Katie rolled her eyes a little, "I don't go for the younger boys anyway." She laughed a little before walking inside with him. As she walked through the crowd of people with Jack, Katie grabbed his hand, without thinking. When they got over to her parents, Carrie and Frank, Katie just smiled.

"Well I see the two of you found each other." Carrie said with a sweet smile as she kissed her daughter's cheek before looking to Jack. "And how are you doing, Jack?" She asked.

Frank smiled at his best friend and then winked at his daughter. He was just about to ask the same question but Carrie had beat him to it.

Katie smiled at her mom and looked at little when her dad winked at her. She shook it off, then stood there, standing back next to Jack.

Ella gained here composure, “sorry didn’t mean to freak out” she bit her lip and gathered all her belongings. “All right, thank you gain, I’ll keep in touch.” She had left a post it note with her number before waving goodbye. First day and she was already crushing on her professor, it wasn’t like Ella to be like that. Her whole day had gone by quick and she now found herself at her apartment looking over some shots she had taken earlier.

Jack smirked, “older men are your thing huh?” Before anything else could be said, jack was interrupted by his best friend. “Frank, Carrie” he smiled and gave each a hug, “how ya both been!”

Jack was talking to Carrie about what he was up to remodeling his home and what not. “Yeah, I’ll have to find someplace to stay while the work is going on. So much paint fumes” He laughed

Chris shook his head at her comment, "I didn't think you were freaking out." He smirked as he watched her gather her belongings. As he watched her leave the classroom, Chris looked down seeing that she had left a post it note. He picked the post-it note and just smirked, putting it into his notebook. This was definitely going to work out. He wasn't sure what it was that was going to work out, however, Chris just had this feeling that something was going to turn out...something good. Quickly gathering all of his things once more, then walked out of the classroom, and to his car. Once his things were in the car, Chris climbed in, heading to his apartment. When he got home, he started to go over his lessons for the next week, his eyes turning back to the post-it note. He thought about texting her, but he knew that wouldn't be right.

Katie blushed a little when she heard Jack's comment, curious to what he was going to say next, however, they were interrupted by her parents. She smiled as she watched Jack and Frank, her father, get caught up a little. Once Carrie and Jack were done talking, Carrie looked to her daughter and smiled. "Why don't you keep Jack entertained for tonight." Carrie suggested to Katie.

Katie nodded, "I can do that." She smiled as she walked away from her parents with Jack. "So..." She said as she walked with him back outside onto the porch, where no one was.
