Wicked Hearts

Quickly pushing her skirt down, and fixing her jacket, Aria ran into the office building as fast as she could without sliding on the floor. She wasn’t late, but she wasn’t early either. And she had wanted to be. She was starting as a new secretary in the biggest media company in the city and it came with promotion opportunities. She wanted to prove herself and hopefully move up as well.

Taking out her phone she texted her friend knowing he too was busy but wanted to still see how he was doing.
Youngjin : Starting today... Kinda nervous but I’m excited? Are things going well at your job??
She stuffed her phone into her bag and went up to the office she was working at, setting her bag down and grabbing a notepad before knocking on the door to the office her boss was working in.

Brie sighed as she set her phone down on the table in the coffee shop, her parents had been pestering her non-stop about her personal life. Everything seemed to be going to shit right before her eyes and there was nothing she could do about it. She needed some peace and quiet, but that was all too much to ask for in her parents eyes. They would say she was avoiding them, or being anti social - they'd call her boss and tell him how 'anti social' she was being; it was too much

Minjun sighed as he wet his lips walking into the office, today was going to be busy - but he wished her could take it easy like he used to. The world had changed so much arund him, building this company had been the best thing and the worst thing simultaneously.

things are tense; started on the day a drug lord is being transported out of town, i'm on the follow team I'll keep you updated he sent to her then nodded to his superior who told him to move his ass.

She smiled a little at her phone, texting back that she’d talk to him later and setting it into the drawer. Aria watched as he walked in and then stood and followed, holding her notepad and sighing. “Good Morning,” She said, knocking on the door and stepping inside. “I was hired as the new personal assistant. I was told you had not had one before but I was given your schedule from the office assistant.” She explained, taking a step forward in the office. “Is there anything you’d like to go over with me?”

David walked into the shop, standing in line to buy his usual before he headed in to work. He placed his order and waited, grabbing his coffee and heading over to get a few napkins. He noticed a girl sitting to the side of the baristas station, her coffee was ready but she hadn’t noticed. He grabbed it and walked over, reaching out to set it on the table but saw how her face looked. He set the coffee down onto the table and leaned down. “Uh your coffee was ready,” He smiled politely, handing it to her across the table.

She looked up confused then her face softened, "Oh thank you," she said softly with a small smile, "It's been a rough morning," she mumbled lightly as she sipped her coffee gently then wet her lips. Her phone started buzzign again and she was tempted to just shut it off but if her boss called she'd never hear the end of it.

Minjun looked at her for a moment before nodding, "What is on my schedule then? And I like my hot tea with a shot of milk and two scoops of sugar," he said to her as he sat behind his desk.

“Well...I was told you prefer to come into the office as least as possible. So I’ll work to organize it so that’s possible. As of right now, you have an interview with a news station, and to approve the new media the marketing department has come up with,” She explained, looking at her notebook and making notes. “And of course I can be right back with your tea as well.”

He nodded a little. “Well, can’t be that bad, can it?” He asked, looking around. “Is this seat taken?” He asked her, sitting down and taking a sip of his coffee. “It’s just you looked like you were about to cry and that’s not right,” He said softly.

Shhe laughed a little then sighed, "My parents... they're...somestimes they're to much," she admitted as she looked at her coffee, "I broke up with my long time boyfriend last week and I haven't heard the end of it; they won't even hear my side of it... only what my brother has to say about it... they were friends which is how I met him,' she said to him lightly, "How will you take care of yourself? You're going to end up alone... You ruin every relationship you have he was good for you, sweetheart," she rolled her eyes a little then ignored her fathers call once again.

"I wish I could just... escape," she murmured gently.

"I will need you available twenty four seven, is that an issue?" he asked as he looked at her, "Weekends, holidays," he trailed off as he filed through the paperes on his desk. "and by the end of the week I'd like my office organized neatly,

She shook her head slowly. “No sir, I understand,” She said, scratching her temple gently. She knew it would be demanding but she was under the impression she would have some time off. “Of course, then I will add your address to my phone so I can get to you as needed.”
She sighed a little, thinking of Youngjin and wanting to tell him about this job already.

He nodded a little. “Well, if you don’t mind me asking, how did the relationship end? If you’re happy to be out of it, shouldn’t they support you?” He asked curiously. “Can’t imaine why one relationship might end your life.”

He nodded a little, "Good, I will do my best not to spring last second meetings or events on you unless they're sprung on me," he said to her.

She sighed a little,"He has his career set in stone, and i'm just an IT for a law firm" she mumbled softly, "I ended it because I didn't love him anymore, not like he wanted me to and its really not fair to make him think otherwise,"

She nodded a little. “Right, of course,” She said, looking at the notepad. “Then, I’ll go get you some tea and organize your schedule,” She said, turning to head out of the office. She went to the lounge and pulled out a mug, getting everything he said he had wanted. She added his address and phone number to her phone, and began moving his schedule around in a way he would hopefully see fit.

He shrugged. “You seem young, you’re just starting off, you should have time to fix that up anyway,” He smiled a little bit stopped as her phone began to ring again. “One of the best things that thing can do is go into airplane mode,” He offered with a small smile.

She smiled a little then did as he said, "I really wish they'd just let me figure things out on my own. They make it impossible, my brother does everything... so perfect in their eyes," She mumbled, "But me the 'failure'," she snorted, "I'm sure you don't want to hear about my problems," she murmured.

He nodded a little then began to work at his desk, replying to emails and working on looking over the marketing mock up befre approving it.

Walking back inside, she handed him his tea and set the iPad out with his new schedule. “With this you can come in roughly three times a week, only to approve new media from the marketing team,” She said, forwarding it to his phone. “On these days you don’t want to come in... what will my purpose be?” She asked curiously.

He smiled a little. “Actually, my sister and I usually meet up around now to talk about our day and what’s going on, but she got a new job at Lancorp, so she’ll be busier now than before. So I’m used to it, and you seem like you needed someone to listen rather than talk at you.”

She looked at him then sighed a little, "I think I might move... out of the aprtment I'm currently in and change my number so they can't call me so much" she told him lightly, "I need my space and they're suffocating me,"

He looked at her, "You will be helping the secratary in whatever she needs, helping her plan schedules for in advance as well as keeping my office tidy, otherwise you're free to do as you wish," he said to her then stopped, "You know for more of a convenience I have a guiest house you're more than welcome to use it's it's own house - everything is private - free of charge," he said to her.

She nodded a little. “I will need to make some arrangements for that,” She said softly, looking at her phone. “The interview can be moved if you wish, the marketing department was the main priority of the day,” She explained to him.

He nodded a little. “Well, I’ll wish you luck on them, finding apartments is hard enough,” He said softly. “Anywhere in particular to look or just to get away?”
