Love in the BAU

"I knew it! I called it! I SO KNEW IT!" She said with a bright smile. She got up and hugged Jessica then Derek. "I am so happy for you guys though." She said softly. She then looked to Aaron and smiled, before sitting back down.

Rossi smiled, "Well this is such a celebratory night. I feel like I should go get the wine." He said as he got up from the table, walking into the kitchen. He grabbed a bottle of wine then came back. He started to pour the wine for everyone.

Derek smiled, winking at Jessica. He looked to the team, thanking them for the congratulations. When Rossi brought in the wine, he just smiled. "Oh yeah, this is definitely a celebratory night." He winked.

"I couldn't agree with you more, Rossi." Aaron smiled at him as he looked at Derek nodding his head. "A big night of celebrations." Aaron smiled at the team keeping JJ close to him.

Jessica smiled at JJ and returned the hug. She looked at Derek smiling at him. She was glad it was in the open now about them being together.

JJ smiled, leaning into Aaron when he kept her close. She smiled at Rossi, taking a sip of her water.

Rossi looked to the team once everyone, except JJ had a glass of wine. "Here is to new journeys. Those told and those yet to be discovered." He said with a wink before taking a sip of his wine.

JJ nodded, taking a sip of her water. "Yes, definitely journeys lets to discover." She looked to Aaron and kissed him softly.

Derek smiled at Jessica, giving her another wink. He nodded to Rossi's words. "Now I can drink to that." He said with a cheeky grin before taking a sip of his wine. "Ahh, this is so refreshing." He commented about the wine.

Aaron smiled holding wine glass up and smiling at everyone agreeing. "To new discovered adventures." He cheered out with everyone. Smiling at JJ he kept her close kissing her head.

Jessica smiled at Derek blushing a little. She took a sip of her wine. Sitting there she watched everyone keeping to herself. Smiling she was enjoying the night.

Coming back from their honeymoon was definitely something JJ did not want to do. Having the time away with Aaron, away from their hectic job and all was nice. As she got ready for the day, she just started to think about how things would be different now. She sighed softly to herself, realizing that this wasn’t going to be easy in some ways, considering she would probably be limited to what she can and can’t do. Aaron hadn’t said anything to her yet about it; however they were on their honeymoon at the time. Now would be a totally different story.

Derek had already made his way towards the BAU office. While Aaron and JJ were off on their honeymoon, Rossi has been in charge of the team, but Derek was shadowing him. Aaron had told Derek some time back that he knew at some point he’d be ready to lead his own team. Driving towards the office, he decided to stop and get coffee. Once he arrived to the BAU office, he parked his car then got out. He looked to see who was here and who wasn’t here yet then proceeded inside.

Aaron took and walked out of the bathroom staring at JJ. "What's on your mind baby?" Aaron asked kissing the side of her cheek. He knew she was taking it all in, as well as he was. But he had thought about where she was expecting, and all. He didn't want to be ass of an husband. But he also didn't want her to risk her life or their unborn child's life as well.

Jessica smiled sitting in the tech lab talking with Garcia. Hearing her joke, Jessica laughed softly smiling. "When are you going to break down and tell Mr. Hunky Butt Morgan?" Garcia smirked.

"Hey. Hey." Jessica laughed softly. "My man remember." Jessica winked playfully before sighing. "I don't know Garcia. I mean he's going to find out soon enough anyways." Jessica admitted.

Getting to her feet, Jessica hugged Garcia walking out. She'd left before Derek had even gotten up. Going towards her desk she took and saw Derek. Walking over to him she wrapped her arms around his backside hearing him groan. "Good morning handsome." Jessica whispered into his back before stepping to his side smiling lightly.

JJ snapped out of her daydream, looking to her husband. She thought it was crazy how she was married to Aaron Hotchner, the man everyone wondered if he would ever settle down. She couldn’t believe that she was the woman, that lucky woman, but she wasn’t going to complain at all. “Yeah just thinking.” She mumbled as she reached up and kissed his cheek.

Derek had just made his way over to his desk, looking over some of the papers that he left on his desk from the night before. He was just about to sit down when he felt arms wrap around him. “Ooh now that’s a nice morning hug to receive.” He chuckled, turning around to look at her. “Good Morning Beautiful.” He leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips. “How are you this morning?”

"Ok." Aaron smiled at her kissing her forehead. "Are you about ready to head into the office?" Aaron asked smiling at her.

Jessica smiled, "Um." Jessica's smile faded as she sighed a little bit. "Derek we need to talk." Jessica looked at him biting her lip. "Yesterday my doctor called." She paused. "I went for my yearly stuff." Jessica rambled. "Um." Jessica sighed. "You're going to be a dad." She whispered softly.

JJ smiled, closing her eyes as she felt his lips touch her forehead. "Yeah, I'm ready." She opened her eyes, looking back up to Aaron once more. Moving over to grab her purse and overnight bag, just in case they got called on a case. As they walked out to the SUV, JJ climbed in, and then looked down at her bump. She was really starting to show.

Derek nearly choked on air when he heard Jessica's words. "I'm going to what?" He said a little shocked. He blinked a couple of times, not once taking his eyes off of Jessica. "I'm going to be a Dad..." He looked to her, truly surprised. "Oh wow."

"When is our next appointment with the doctor?" Aaron asked driving towards the BAU building as he smiled at JJ. He was truly lucky, and he couldn't believe he'd gotten so lucky with JJ.

Jessica sighed feeling uneasy. Seeing more of the team coming in and swarming near them. She gave Derek a sadden smile, "I'll let you get back to work." Jessica told him softly as she patted his arm before moving away from everyone. Slipping her hands into her pockets she headed back to the tech lab to hang out with Garcia.

JJ had to think about it for a moment. “Um, next week.” She said as she pulled out her phone to check their schedules. “Yep, next week.” She looked to him with a sweet smile. “It’s at 10:00 am.” She said. “Next Thursday.”

Derek frowned a little seeing Jessica pull away from him. He sighed to himself as he sat down. He was happy about being a dad, just wasn’t expecting it so quickly with Jessica. He knew he was going to have to talk with her later for sure. Seeing that more of the team walking in, Derek hoped to himself that they would have time off tonight so that he could take Jessica out for dinner.

Aaron smiled, "Good. I told Dave we wouldn't be in till later. That he could take lead." Aaron told her smiling. He placed his hand on her bump as they pulled in. Getting out quickly he walked around and rushed to JJ. He took and helped her out smiling. Once they were inside he saw Derek and knew something was off with him. Seeing they already had a case he took and went into the meeting room as everyone slowly began piling in but Jessica and Garcia.

Hearing they had a case, Jessica walked with Garcia. She walked in and sat down beside of Reid as they began discussing the case. Once everything was said and done. She took and got her over night bag and left with the team. Once they were on the jet, she looked out the window putting her earbuds in. Listing to the music as she got lost in her own thoughts.

When they got onto the jet, JJ made sure everyone was set before going to let the pilot know that they were all set. Moving to the back, JJ sat down next to her husband. She put a hand on her bump and watched the team. She could tell that something was up, but she was a little confused about what was going on with Jessica. She figured she would talk to Jessica later once they were landed and things were settled down.

Derek sat in the Jet by himself. He was lost in his own thoughts, thinking about the news that Jessica had just shared with him earlier that day. He was thrilled about being a father, but was still trying to wrap his head around the idea of it. He knew that they had to talk to Jessica. He didn't mean to not seem excited, it was just shocking.

Aaron noticed Derek and Jessica not sitting together like normal. Not being their happy outgoing lovey dovey's selves. "Something is going on." Aaron whispered to JJ seeing her nod. "Wondering what is going on?" Aaron whispered hugging to his wife.

Jessica lent back feeling the morning sickness over take her. Closing her eyes she sighed deciding on a small nap before they landed. She needed to be herself. Giving in the sleep over took her rather fast.

JJ looked to Aaron and shrugged her head. "I don't know..." She mumbled as she laid a hand on his shoulder. She put her hand on hdd bump. "I will find out what's going on." She whispered. She then looked through the case file, before looking at Hotch. "What are we looking at with this case?"

Derek had put his own earphones in and listened to music. He closed his eyes and just listened to his music, and just relax. He kept thinking about what Jessica had told him. He opened his eyes and then looked over to Jessica. He frowned seeing Jessica looking so sad. He wanted to walk over to her, but he didn't want to upset her

Aaron looked at the case file, "Honestly." Aaron told her. "I am unsure. Everything is jumbled and not right." Aaron admitted to her sighing a little. "With this one we're going to have to be extra careful, and cautious." Aaron told her.

Feeling her stomach churn, Jessica threw her phone beside of her and quickly got up. Running to the bathroom she yanked the door open and shut it. Letting her stomach empty she gripped to it sighing heavily as it hit again.

JJ nodded and sighed softly as she looked more into the file. They were definitely going to have to be extra careful and cautious with this one. She looked up to Aaron and kissed him softly. "Well...we will figure this out...we always do." She reassured him.

Derek's eyes shot up when he felt someone rush past everyone to the back of the jet. He saw it was Jessica. He frowned a little to him. He looked to JJ, maybe he could get some advice from her about what to do. Or even Hotch...maybe he could even talk to Hotch and get some advice.

Once the plane landed, he saw the team get off as they headed to the police station. Once arriving he spoke with the lead officer. Once they were settled, Aaron sat down and began looking over. Separating the teams he took and sighed softly shaking his head. Looking up he saw Derek, "Morgan, something wrong?" Aaron asked him.

Jessica walked with Spencer as she sighed softly. She took and got into the SUV with him. Once they were pulled out she lent into the seat listing to Spencer talk about random fact things. Smiling at him she listened as she drove towards the first crime scene.
