"And cut!" The words of the director could be heard as the camera stopped rolling. Letting out a soft sigh of relief, the young Emily Wickersham winked at her co-workers, Sean Murray and Wilmer Valderrama, feeling like a complete success as they finished taping one of the upcoming episodes for NCIS. Making small talk with them for a little, Emily stood there on the set, chatting about some upcoming plans that they were trying to do as a cast/family. Since starting back on the hit TV drama back in 2013, the young actress had felt like she had found her niche in life, however, she wanted something more...something more to do, to better describe it. Living the life as a young actress was wonderful, and she enjoyed every minute of it; however, was it enough? That was the question that consistently ran through the blonde's mind most of her start when she was 'adopted' into the NCIS Family. She had gotten close to all of them - Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Brian Dietzen, even Mark Harmon. She truly loved every minute with this new family of hers, and couldn't wait to see what the future held for her in the storybook of NCIS.

And here she was now, nearly 3 years later, and life for Ms. Wickersham was absolutely wonderful. Not only had she found her career as a actress to rewarding and fulfilling, but she found something else to do along the way. At first, when the idea was brought to her, Emily seriously thought that it was almost a dream, that her urge to do more than be some TV Actress was starting to play mind tricks on her. However, as the opportunity continued to pop up in her life, she knew there was only ONE way to fix it, and that was to tackle it...to make it happen...to make it become reality. In 2013, when she joined the cast, after Mark Harmon personally picked her to take the place of Cote de Pablo, an surprising connection between the young woman and older man hit off, and it hit off well. About a year after Emily had started, Mark had brought an idea to her attention that would follow her forever until she finally said yes. This idea for her to be his personal assistant. Her first thoughts on these were shock. She had been telling her best friend since childhood that she wanted to do something more than just be an actress; to be something like a planner, but never thought that she could be Mark Harmon's Assistant. Questions rolled through her mind as to what brought this idea to the table, however, things started to make clearer sense when Emily got to the news that Mark and his wife Pam were getting a divorce after several years of marriage. Now the question that lingered was why did Mark want her as His Personal Assistant? It was rather self-explanatory, in the end of course. They both had worked together for well over a year (at the time). They had the same or very similar work schedules with the taping of NCIS. And most of all, they clicked, which wasn't hard with Mark Harmon, but to at lot of people that Emily worked with, it was a privilege to get to know who Mark Harmon was on a personal level; and that privilege had started for her WAY before she took on the role of being his assistant, or as they liked to joke -- his work wife.

Wrapping up her conversation with Sean and Wilmer and having the cast/family night in place, Emily waltzed her way off the set. Quickly pulling out her phone, she pulled up the infamous Harmon-Wickersham Work Calendar, putting in the date and time that was just discussed. Once that was cleared, Emily slipped her phone in the back jean's pocket, before heading towards her trailer.
