Conflicted

Zoe rolled her eyes hearing him and laughed before blinking listening to him and shaking her head again. "I'm fine. I don't need anything." She promised him smiling softly as she walked with him towards the counter humming softly as she did so.

Daniel nodded softly, "Okay, fair enough, but If you think of anything you need, I'd love to get it for you," he said softly. He was glad she seemed content not to have him buy things for her, it meant she wasn't after his money. He put his arm around her waist lightly, 'shall we head out of here?" he asked her.

Zoe laughed and said, "Thank you, but The only thing I need anymore is just groceries." She teased kissing his cheek once more. She hummed softly as she walked with him. "Sure." She replied smiling as his arm was around her waist. "What do you want to do?" She asked looking up at him with a smile on her face.

Daniel shrugged softly, "How about lunch then back to mine?" he asked her softly. He was happy she was so comfortable around him. He pulled her close and kissed her cheek.

Zoe smiled and said, "Sure, if you want." She replied laughing when she felt him pull her close her smile widening as she felt his lips on her cheek. She walked with him happily. "What do you want for lunch, then?" She asked him turning her head angling so that she was gazing up at him.

Daniel shrugged, "no idea how about you?" he asked her lightly. He wasn't that much of a foodie, preferring comfort food most of the time.

Zoe laughed before saying, "Tacos sound good?" She asked taking his head once he had given her answer and led him towards the food court. "Well, actually, you can get whatever you want and so can I. We don't necessarily have to have the same thing." She explained.

Daniel smiled lightly, "yeah tacos' sounds fine," he admitted. He walked with her towards the Taco place, "You back at dance class tomorrow?" he asked her

Zoe smiled at him before humming as they got into line. Hearing his question she shook her head. "Tomorrow is Sunday." She reminded him. "I don't have my dance classes until the weekdays." She turned to give him a smile. "Why?" She asked curiously.

Daniel looked at her, "you sure, Didn't you go to the theatre last night with Lucas?" he asked her. He was under the impression that was Saturday night, maybe he was wrong.

"Yes, but last night was Friday." Zoe laughed before pulling her phone out and showing him the date and it also said it was Saturday. She smiled before putting her phone away and getting to the register before ordering three tacos for herself and moved out of the way for Daniel to order.

Daniel smiled softly, "Sorry I'm not good with dates," he said softly. He stepped forward and ordered his own lunch. He was feeling good and calm.

Zoe laughed before saying, "It's fine. I wouldn't be good with dates if I kept switching between two people." She explained smiling at him before sitting down once they had their food and hummed softly.

Zoe laughed smiling at him. "You're sweet." She told him happily before beginning to eat her tacos. She ended up finishing before Danile and sighed happily before laughing seeing him still eating. "I guess it's not attractive that I finished my foood first." She teased leaning on the palm of her hand while she watched him.

Daniel shrugged softly, "It doesn't bother me, at all," he said lightly. He finished eating slightly after her, "What should we do now?" he asked

Zoe smiled at him kissing his cheek gently before shrugging softly. "I'm not sure actually. What do you want to do?" She asked smiling up at him.

Zoe smiled lacing their fingers. "Sounds good to me." She replied. She grabbed her purse and phone before walking with him.

Daniel grinned and held her hand leading her back to his apartment. He held her close, it was a fairly cold evening at this point, and he was glad they would be out of the cold soon.
