    We can fight our desires
But when we start making fires
They say we can love who we trust
But what is love without lust?
    Two hearts with accurate devotions
And what are feelings without emotions?

"Awhoo!" echoed through the forest, followed by several responses. The hunt was on, a pack of large wolves stalked through the thick undergrowth, drawn forward by instinct. Large fangs and golden eyes reflecting back the little moonlight that managed to trickle down through the treetops. The pack although well practiced, and familiar with their hunting ground struggled to find adequate prey, but as the night dragged on and the sun threatened to rise, they pack had to abandon their hunt.

A pack of wolves emerged from out of the forest, into a clearing. Makeshift tents littered the clearing, a fire pit smoldered away towards the centre. A group of females huddled around off to one side, noticing the wolves stood. However they didn't run or panic, instead they just stood there looking towards the pack. Suddenly, as the wolves approached, their coats began to wriggle and writhe, their bones cracked, the wolves stood up, onto their legs, their forms completing a transition.

Conrad the largest of the now human forms stepped off towards the largest tent. He was angry, with himself, and worried. As the alpha, it was his job to lead the pack, and all these unsuccessful hunts were beginning to took their toll on the pack. Conrad retired to his tent, to think, leaving his people to reveal, and console each other. At one time he also had a mate, but he had recently lost his love to something in the forest. The others believed it was the human hunters, but Conrad wasn't so sure, they wolves and human had lived in a tentative peace for a while, and he didn't believe they would of broken it without reason.
