Nova walked up the stairs, leading to her mansion that she lived in with Danny. She had went to brunch with some friends and had just gotten back. Nova walked inside, "Danny!" She called. She walked down the hallway, finding him in the living room with some of his gang members. "There you are." She said, smiling at him. She looked at the men with him, "I see you are busy. I will just wait." She said before walking away from them. She went to the kitchen, getting a bottle of water. Nova knew they were suppose to go to some club with Dimitri tonight. She was excited because she loved to go to the clubs and drink. She sat down on one of the chair that were at the kitchen island, looking at her phone. She heard Danny's friend's leave, knowing it wouldn't be long before he came to find her. When she felt him come into the kitchen she took a sip of her water, "So busy day?" She asked, turning to look at him.

Dimitri finished getting ready, grabbing the things he needed to meet Daniel at the club. He knew that Danny wanted to discuss some business in a more public setting which mostly meant someone was going to day soon. Dimitri grabbed his keys, then walked out to his Mercedes, climbing inside. He drove to the club, knowing it was a little early, but he was hungry and wanted something to drink. He walked in, sitting at the bar. He ordered a drink, taking a sip of it. Dimitri's eyes scanned the bar, seeing a few people sitting with him. He knew that Danny preferred to sit in the VIP so people knew he was more important than them. Dimitri however liked to make himself blend in.

Danny was in the middle of speakkng with some of his members when he heard Nova call out his name. He ooked up before smiling softly hearing her tell him that she'd wait. He nodded before turning back his face immediately going back to hardass. They knew his wife was the only person they were not allowed to mess with. He spoke with them before he sighed as they finally left. He stood up brushing a hand through his hair before going to find Nova. He found her in the kitchen and chuckled seeing her. "A little bit, but after the meeting, i'm sure tonight will get better since I know you love the club." He told her before bringing her towards him and leaning down kissing her pulling away after a minute to let his hand run over her face. "What about you?" He asked her knowing he had promised he would do a better job at paying attention to her as well.

Gwendolyn headed inside needing a night away from her dad just constantly working and ignoring her mother and her. She was moving out in a few days so she could go to college for dancing, but she figured her getting the perfect scholarship was well worthy of a night out. She wondered when her friends were going to get there. She went up to the counter, pushing away curls from her face glancing over at a guy at the counter and tilted her head because he seemed a little lonely. She bit her lip wondering if she should go talk to him or not. Turning back she ordered a walk me down knowing she was only going to get one, but they were so good. She sat down on a stool checking her phone to see where her friends were. She sighed before glancing back over at Dimitri just curious. She shook her head before looking back at her phone figuring that if someone wanted to talk they would approach her.

Nova kissed him back, smiling as his hand ran over her face. "I went to brunch with Olivia." She said, shrugging. "What exactly do you need to go to the club for anyway?" She asked as she got up. She stood in front of up, looking up at him. She knew he would probably be vague about what he needed. He never actually told her anything he was doing until he was washing the blood off of his hands. Nova knew better than to complain though. She lived a great life because of Danny. She took his hands, "Just don't go killing anyone tonight." She said, before she let go of his hands. "I'm going to go find something to wear." She said. She kissed him once more before she went to their bedroom. She walked into her closet, looking for something to watch. She settled on an outfit, then got dressed. She walked downstairs when Danny said it was time to go. Nova took his hand, walking out to his car with him, before getting into the passenger seat.

Dimitri felt the girl's eyes on him. He decided he might as well go talk to her. If anything it could end up with him taking her home for the night. He moved over to her, "Hey." He said, smiling, "You mind if I sit?" He asked, looking at the chair next to her. He sat next to her, "I'm Dimitri." He said, offering her his hand. He nodded when she said her name was Gwendolyn. He looked at her drink, "You mind if I buy you another drink?" He asked her. He took a sip of his beer, looking at the time as the music started blaring in the club. He knew it wouldn't be long before Danny showed up.

Danny smiled down at her and nodded gently. Hearing her question he sighed and said, "Just need to talk about some things." He assured her and looked down at her raising an eyebrow as he watched her and laughed hearing her words before saying, "I don't think I'll kill anyone tonight. Probably tomorrow, though." He warned her for once before smiling giving her a nod knowing he was just going to go how he was. He kissed her back watching as she walked away and got a drink for himself and finished the water before throwing away the water bottle. He heard her walking down with her heels and smirked looking down at her and kissed her again before taking her hand and getting into the driver's seat. He revved the engine of their car before pulling out of their driveway. Once they were at the club, he got out of the car opening the door for Nova, since he was in an obviously good mood and smiled offering her his arm before heading into the club.

Gwen smiled softly looking up hearing his words, her red lipstick glinting in the light as she smiled before telling him, "I don't mind." She sipped on her drink before nodding shaking his head. "I'm Gwen." She told him deciding not to tell him her full first name or full name, since Gwendolyn was a pretty uncommon name and most people had see her dad on the television before or at least knew her name. She laughed shaking her head, "I don't mind, but I fear I won't finish it considering it's huge and has an absurd amount of alcohol in it." She replied. She hummed along to the music knowing the dancer in her was wanting to just go on the dance floor. She heard someone call his name and looked over seeing a man before she saw her friends and waved at Dimitri as she stood up. "I guess I'll see you later." She flashed him a grin, curls bouncing as she headed over to her friends and laughed starting to speak with them before she headed to the dance floor and began to dance with them, body moving seductively with the music.

Nova took Danny's arm as they walked into the club. She looked over at Dimitri, seeing he was with some girl. Once they were in the VIP section she ordered a sex on the beach and sat down. "Who's your friend Dimitri?" She asked, smiling at him. She watched as he shrugged and tried to explain himself. She took a sip of her drink, listening to the music in the club. Nova had a way of blocking out all the things Danny said that involved work. She liked to live in her little bubble where nothing ever went wrong.

Dimitri smiled, "I will see you around." He said. He walked to Danny, then went to the VIP section. He shrugged when Nova asked about Gwen, "She's just some girl I was hitting on." He said. He looked at Danny, sitting with him. "So what did you want to talk about?" He asked. He could hear the drunk girls below them getting crazy. He personally liked smaller bars, but Danny chose this place because of Nova. As much as the two fought when they got along Danny made sure Nova got whatever she wanted. Dimitri finished his beer, his eyes finding Gwen on the dance floor.

Danny sat down beside Nova wrapping an arm around her as he chuckled listening to Dimitri try to explain himself. He didn't care as long as it didn't get in the way of their work. He looked at Dimitri and sat up a little before explaining that they had gotten intel that their suppliers were the ones that had killed their men a couple weeks back. "Now, you know what I want. Make sure you take everything and leave no one. For this one, I will not be joining you because it would look odd if your boss were to come with you on a simple routine check." He told him. He had gotten a scotch on the rocks and was already half through with it. He watched him second in command. "Anything you'd like to add?" He asked him. As much as he wanted to be right about everything, he liked to make sure he hadn't missed anything. Nova was a big distraction for him, so having his second in command make sure he hadn't missed anything made sense to him.

Gwen laughed with her friends sipping on her drink laughing when they got shots and decided against it. She didn't want to get drunk tonight and have a hangover in the morning. She had class the next day and knew her instructor would not be happy if she were to just suddenly not be able to dance straight. She moved her hips with the sound of the music. She typically would have worn a skirt or shorts, but she had felt like the jeans she was wearing made her butt look good. She heard the song come to an end and sat down speaking with her friends. She felt eyes on her, glancing up to see the Dimitri guy looking at her. She just smiled at him before looking back at her friends giggling when they said she had someone staring at her. She looked over and saw it was some other guy, but the look of him didn't appeal to her. He looked like a creep. She bit her lip before looking back her friends a smile coming back to ehr face.

Dimitri looked at him, "No I have nothing. I will get the job done." He said. He looked at the two of them, "Should I bring the supplies back to you?" He asked. He knew sometimes that Danny wanted the stuff in his home and other times he wanted it take to their warehouse. He glanced down at the girl on the dance floor again. He knew that having someone to be with was never a good idea.

Nova finished her drink and was working on her second one as she looked at Danny and Dimitri. She could tell that Dimitri wanted to go talk to the girl he was with early. She touched Danny's forearm when they finished talking, "Baby, Why don't you let him go finish talking to the girl he was interested in? He clearly has done this before." She said, looking at him. She smiled as she felt Danny look at her. She knew that he didn't like his guys getting involved with people. She looked at Dimitri, "Invite her up here." She said, "You two are done talking about work anyway." She said, smiling. She watched as Dimitri looked at Danny for confirmation, "Danny thinks it's a great idea." She said, "Right?" She said, looking at her husband.

Danny gave him a nod, "Alright. You can put this stuff in the warehouse." He told him giving him a smile knowing that he trusted no one as much as he trusted Dimitri. Hearing Nova, he looked over and laughed before saying, "Yeah, alright." He frowned hearing Nova tell him to invite her up here before shaking his head. "He can go talk to her all he wants, she shouldn't come up here. The less she knows about us the better." He murmured before looking at Nova. "The only people up here that are allow, love, is you and the guys and their wives. Girlfriends aren't allowed up here. It's for the best. The less they know until they are ready to get married the better." He told her stroking her arm gently. He kissed her head before looking back at Dimitri, "Since we're finished with work you can go if you like." He told him giving him a small smile before looking back at Nova finishing his own drink.

After awhile the guy came over to their table and started to talk to Gwen. She was polite, but wasn't nearly as nice or open with him as she had been with Dimitri. She felt him touch her and pulled away gently not wanting him to get the wrong idea. "Please don't touch me." He continued to put his hands on her and she slipped out of her chair shaking her head. "Don't touch me." She repeated her voice going deadpan as she looked at him not liking the way he was trying to get her to go with him and shook her head. "Leave me alone." She told him before turning around heading towards the dance floor, but once again he stopped her by grabbing her arm. "Stop, that hurts." She told him trying to wrench her arm free from his grasp.

Nova rolled her eyes at Danny's response, "You don't think one of your guys or their wives would betray you?" She asked once Dimitri was gone. Nova didn't like when she didn't get her way. "Seems to me if you are going to start no trusting people that you should probably start with them." She said, taking a sip of her drink. "I'm going to dance." She said, setting her glass down before she left him there. She knew that she had pissed him off and staying around him would only end in a fight.

Dimitri appeared behind Gwen, glaring at the guy, "Is there a problem here?" He asked. He watched as the guy let go of Gwen's arm. "Come on." He said, leading her away from the guy. He walked to the bar with her, "Where are you friends?" He asked her, his eyes scanning the club. He caught sight of Nova coming out of the VIP section and Danny glaring at her. He was glad he got out of there when he did.

Danny sighed shaking his head and said, "It's for the S/O's protection, Nova. If you weren't my wife you wouldn't come up here at all and that's because I would refuse to let you because if someone saw you with me that didn't like me they'd use you to mess with me. Because you are my wife you have the special protection I put under you." He growled rolling his eyes. "Fine." He said shaking his head as he glared after her. He ran a hand under her face sighing knowing there so many things she didn't know. She only cared when she didn't get her way, she didn't bother not looking at the other things. He felt far older than he should at the moment and just ran a hand over his face once more.

Gwen jumped when she heard another voice and looked back at Dimitri looking back at the guy and nodded before she walked with him towards the bar. She sighed and said, "I'm not sure. They were going to dance, but if I'm being honest I'm pretty sure they forgot about me and just left." She admitted to him. She shrugged and said, "Where are your friends?" She questioned figuring if he could ask those questions, she could as well and turned to look up at him a small smile on her face. "Also, thanks." She told him softly,

Nova danced for a bit then drank at the bar, getting a little tipsy before she returned to Danny. She sat down next to him, "Are you ready to go?" She asked him as she leaned back against the couch, playing with a strand of her hair. She looked at him, seeing he was still upset with her. She bit her bottom lip lightly, looking at him cutely. She knew he couldn't stay mad at her for long.

Dimitri shrugged, "I'm pretty sure they are fighting." He said, chuckling. "I left while I still could." He said. He took a sip of his beer, "You are welcome to hang out with me here if you would like." He told her. He kind of liked her company. "So what do you do when you aren't here partying?" He asked, smirking.

Danny looked over seeing Nova and sighed drinking his fourth drink before asking, "Are you?" He questioned turning back to look at her shaking his head seeing her biting her bottom lip before sighing once more and kissing her. "You can't just blow up when I don't give you your way. I let you have whatever you want almost all of the time." He told her as he looked down at her knowing she was tipsy.

Gwen laughed before saying, "Sounds like my parents." She nodded in agreement. "I understand that." Looking back she chuckled before saying, "I think I will." She smiled. Hearing his question, she laughed before answering, "The same thing, except no drinking and in a studio. I'm a dancer at the university." She smiled softly. "Though, i'm sure my father would rather I do something different with my life." She sighed.

Nova kissed him back, placing her hand on his cheek. "Getting my way if fun though." She said, smiling. She placed her legs over his lap then sat up, placing her hands on his cheeks as she kissed him deeply. She moved so she was straddling his lap, her hands resting on his sides as she kissed along his neck. She let her hands slip under his shirt as she kissed him

Dimitri chuckled, "Yea they kind of suck." He said, smiling. He nodded, "Oh well that is cool." He said. He had never met someone who danced for work. He finished his beer, "What does your father want you to do?" He asked, ordering another drink.

Danny laughed hearing her words before saying, "That's why you get it most of the time, but sometimes you can't have it." He told her before feeling her put her hands over his face and her legs over his lap and kissed her back putting his arms around her waist figuring it was fine so long as it didn't go any further and let her kiss his nek before his lips met hers again and he kissed down her neck nipping a little as he went.

Gwen chuckled and said, "I suppose." She replied smiling and nodded before sighing hearing his question. "Lawyer or something along those lines." She replied. She shook her head sticking her tongue out. "I don't think i'd be a very good lawyer." She said smiling softly. "What do you do?" She questioned turning her eyes to look up at his handsome features a small smile filling her face as she did so sipping on her own drink.

Nova moaned as he kissed down her neck. She pulled away from him slowly, "Can we go home now?" She asked him as she laced her fingers with his. She liked being home with him and having him to herself. He was always busy, but she knew he had to keep things running. Nobody was going to do that for him. Nova bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked at him.

Dimitri smiled, "I mean I don't really know you well enough, but I would say a dancer shouldn't be a lawyer." He said, laughing. He took a sip of his beer, "Is he a lawyer?" He asked. Dimitri shrugged, "I work for my friends business." He said. "He has quite the set up." He explained. He didn't want to go into detail about it. "So what do you plan on doing after school?" He asked.

Danny smirked softly hearing her moan before looking up at her hearing her words. He laughed and said, "If that's what you want." He replied before he held her hand and stood up with her before leading her out of the VIP area. He smiled before seeing Dimitri getting his attention waving goodbye to him before leading Nova out having not gotten a good look of Gwendolyn. He smiled kissing Nova's forehead before saying, "Do you want to drive?" He offered.

Gwen laughed and said, "It wouldn't work well. I'm too much of a hot head." She explained before sighing giving him a nod. "I'm afraid so." She smiled before laughing hearing his words looking over seeing Danny her eyes widening. She looked back at Dimitri saying slowly, "Dance pretty much. Was that Daniel Jackson?" She hissed watching him before saying, "He doesn't have a business..He has a gang..which means. Oh dear." She mumbled and sighed before looking at him. "Well, there goes my chances. I'm Gwendolyn Vanderbilt." She told him crossing her arms over her chest. "My dad's archnemesis is Daniel Jackson." She breathed frowning to herself. "He's going to kill me. Or you are." She muttered looking at him and shook her head taking another shot.

Nova waved as Dimitri then walked out with Danny. She nodded, taking the keys from him, "Sure." She said. She got in the driver's seat, waiting for him to get in. Nova started back to their house, parking the car in the garage. She walked in with him, then went to their bedroom, getting ready for bed. She sat on the bed, watching Danny as he started to get ready for bed. "Do you have plans for tomorrow?" She asked.

Dimitri waved at Danny, then looked at Gwen. He frowned when she realized who Danny was. He was even more shocked to find out who she was, "Oh shit." He said. He shook his head, "No i'm not going to kill you. Honestly, I had no idea who you were." He said. He stared at her, "I guess it's a good thing I didn't take you up into the VIP section with me then." He added. "Does Danny know you?" He asked, taking a sip of his beer. He had never her his friend mention her.

Danny smiled handing the keys to her before getting into the passenger side. He popped his neck as he rode in the vehicle. Once they were home, Danny got out of the car and went into the bedroom. He shed his clothes before getting into bed and raised an eyebrow at her and shook his head. "I shouldn't, though that never means I have a free day." He laughed. "Why?" He asked her, knowing that there were few days he took off. He took for her birthday, for Christmas and some other holidays, and whenever she got sick he would take off and take care of her.

Gwen laughed hearing his reaction and gave him a nod. "Yes, the oh so disappointing daughter of Howard Vanderbilt." She told him sighing as she looked at him and blinked and said, "Well, the news only talks about me whenever they want to get under my dad's skin." She told him sighing. She nodded agreeing with him. "I have no clue. I've never met him before, but the only reason I recognized him is because of my dad ." She explained. "Though, I'm pretty sure i'm not going to tell my dad about this, simply because he didn't bother me, I'm not going to bother him." She laughed. "That sounds stupid, doesn't it?" She asked gently looking at him.

Nova shrugged, "I don't know. I just figured maybe we could do something tomorrow. Maybe go to the beach." She said. It had been awhile since they went to the beach. He was always so busy and usually when he did have a free day they had stuff planned. She smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder, "If you can't then I understand." She said, kissing him. She closed her eyes as she felt his arm go around her, "I love you." She said.

Dimitri shook his head, "No it's not stupid. Danny isn't someone you want to provoke." He explained. "I know about your dad though. Danny hates him." He explained. He finished his beer, "You wanna go to that diner down the street? That way we have less drunk people around us and can actually hold a conversation?" He asked, chuckling.
