Danny laughed and said, "Do you want me to tell them not to bother me tomorrow unless it's an emergency?" He asked her turning to look at her face smiling as he ran ihs fingers over her face as he did so. He missed spending time with her. She was right; he was always busy and would probably be that way until he either retired or died. He laid down with her and kissed him back rubbing her back gently and replied, "I love you, too." He kissed her head sighing softly.

Gwen shrugged and said, "I figured as much." She nodded and sighed, "Yeah, my dad hates him too." She bit down on her lip hearing his request before giving him a nod. "That sounds good. Sure." She told him getting off of her stool waiting for him before beginning to walk humming as she did so. "I'm going to take an educated guess and say if Daniel is the Captain, then you're his lieutenant?" She asked turning her eyes up onto his face.

Nova smiled, "Yes I would like if you did that." She said. She closed her eyes, "Goodnight baby." She whispered. She closed her eyes, falling asleep in his arms. It was nice when he was home with her. She didn't have to worry about him when he was in her arms. She woke up the next morning to the sound of his phone going off. She sighed as she let him up, then laid back on her pillows, staring up at the ceiling of their bedroom. She looked over as he answered the phone, hearing him talk about something like it was important.

Dimitri nodded, "You are correct. Don't tell your father that though." He said. He didn't need his name getting thrown at that lawyer. He walked into the diner with her, sitting down. "I'm still technically under the radar." He explained. It was why Danny sent him to do a lot of jobs. He looked over the menu, feeling pretty hungry all of the sudden. He looked at Gwen, "So do you get along with your father?" He asked.

Danny smiled at her and said, "Alright, I'll tell them tomorrow." He promised before closing his own eyes and kissing her temple again. "Goodnight, beautiful." He murmured knowing she liked when he called her beautiful. He awoke to the sound of his phone going off. He sighed and sat up answering the phone, moving to go into the bathroom so he would hopefully let Nova go back to sleep. He was aggravated and told them what to do before telling them to just text him and not to call him unless it was an emergency. He was taking the day off. He set it down before getting back into the bed with Nova and murmured, "I'm sorry." He brought her closer and wrapped his arms around her.

Gwen laughed shaking her head, "What he doesn't know won't hurt him." She replied. "Besides, I'm not telling him your name since I'm pretty sure you might be cool." She teased him and sat down with him, taking her heels off and setting them down beside her purse swinging her feet lightly before nodding. "I gotcha." She told him. She smiled softly looking at the menu knowing she would order water so she didn't get dehydrated. "Not normally. He doesn't like my carreer choice, saying I'm going to become a starving dancer and that I'm not living up to my potential and blah blah blah. Basically i'm pretty sure what he wants to say is I'm a huge disappointment." She told him sighing.

Nova snuggled back up to him, "Are you leaving?" She whispered. She knew that sometimes he couldn't just get away with not doing something. She wrapped her arms around his waist, not wanting him to go. She closed her eyes, listening to him talk. She smiled when he said he wasn't going anywhere, "I vote we sleep a little longer then." She breathed.

Dimitri shook his head, "I'm sure you will do great in whatever you do." He said. He didn't like when people tried to tell other they couldn't do something with their lives. He looked over as the waitress came up to them. He let Gwen order her drink, then he ordered a water as well. "Do you live around here?" He asked. He figured she lived in the area. Dimitri decided on what he wanted to eat, then watched her. She was a very beautiful woman.

Danny shook his head wrapping an arm around her once again closing his eyes before murmuring, "Nope." He told her and smiled feeling her arms around his waist and just lived in the moment of snuggling with his wife. He laughed and said, "I can do that." He told her before falling back asleep his head laying ontop of hers as he did so. He woke back up a few hours later and yawned stretching a little bit.

Gwen laughed and said, "Thank you. See? I just met you and you're already more supportive." She told him softly and looked over getting water and shook her head. "Not really. I live a little further out. I still live with my parents for right now. I'm actually moving into my own apartment in a few days." She told him smiling. "What about you?" She asked him turning her pretty eyes to watch him pushing some curls away from her face. She saw that he was watching her and tilted her head, "What?" She asked him with a laugh.

Nova slept a few minutes longer than Danny before she woke up. She sighed as she looked over at him, "Good morning." She said, kissing him softly. She sat up, running her fingers through her hair. "I'm going to take a shower." She said. She got up and went to the bathroom, stripping out of her clothes before she stepping into the glass shower. She smiled as the warm water moved over her body. She relaxed as she thought about how the day was going to go.

Dimitri smiled, "I live a few blocks from here." He said. He took a sip of his water that had been brought to them, "Nothing you are just really pretty." He said. He looked over at the waitress when she came back, letting Gwen order first. He ordered himself something to eat, then go took a sip of his water again.

Danny smiled looking over when he heard her rising. He kissed her back just as gently murmuring, "Morning." He smiled at her before giving her a nod. He sat there for a minute before he figured he would join her and undressed himself getting into the shower with her. He looked down at her with a grin before saying, "It's been awhile since we've showered together." He pointed out letting the water run over his face before getting out of the way of the stream letting her havae it.

Gwen nodded saying, "Well, I'm sure it's nice." He told him looking over hearing his words blushing slightly and said, "Well, thank you." She smiled at him sweetly ordering her food when the waitress appeared. She had ordered chicken tenders and some fries. She handed her menu over to the waitress lightly before asking, "So, I hope knowing who my dad is doesn't make you dislike me." She teased knowing he wouldn't have asked her to the diner if he had disliked her.

Nova looked at him, "It really has." She said as she let her hands move over his chest. She kissed him softly, then washed her hair and body. She let him wash off, then moved closer to him. Nova kissed him, smiling against his lips as she felt the water running over them. "I miss being able to spend time with you like this." She whispered. "You are so amazing." She said.

Dimitri shook his head, "No I can't hate someone based on their family. If that was the case you would have already left me sitting here alone." He said, laughing. "Seriously though do you think Danny will know who you are?" He asked. He wanted to be able to bring her around. He wasn't sure how well that would go. Maybe Nova could keep Danny calm when it came to Gwen.

Danny gave her a smile nodding in agreement. He kissed her back, his hand snaking around her waist bringing her closer until her body was pressed against his. He smiled before washing his body and hair looking down as her once again kissing her and grinning. "I know, work has just been busy." He murmured. "I miss you too." He told her knowing he did what he did so he could give her whatever she wanted.

Gwen smiled softly and nodded. "I suppose so." She laughed. "I don't see the point in hating someone because of their family." She murmured softly before laughing hearing his words. "It's plausible he knows me, but I know for a fact that we have never met." She told him biting down on her lip softly as she smiled at him. She looked up seeing their food before she started to eat happily. "This is good." She laughed.

Nova smiled when he said that he missed her. She let her arms wrap around him, her head resting against his chest. She was glad that he took the day off to spend with her. "When are you having that dinner for everyone?" She asked. She knew it was coming up and he had been planning it for awhile. Her fingers ran over his back as she closed her eyes.

Dimitri nodded, "Yea I like coming to this place." He said. He began to eat, knowing that if he was seen with her it could end badly. He wasn't sure how Danny felt about her and he needed to check on that. When they finished eating he paid the bill and looked at her. "So Gwen, do you think I can see you again?"He asked her. He wouldn't mind taking her out on a real date.

Danny kissed her temple knowing that she was the only human that he would allow to see him in such a vulnerable state. He smiled feeling her against his chest and sighed hearing her question before pondering shrugging. "I'm not sure, when do you think we should have it? Possibly two weeks from now?" He offered turning down to look at him smiling seeing her so happy and content.

Gwen laughed nodding. "I can see why. It's very homey." She observered. Once she was finished, she looked up hearing his words she smiled. "I don't see why not." She replied. Taking out her sticky notes, she wrote down her number before handing it back. "There." She told him with a smile, running a hand throughout her long hair giving him another sweet smiel as she did so.

Nova looked at him, "Two weeks sounds good." She said. She kissed him once more. She sighed, "I guess we should get out and get ready." She said. She kissed him again before turning off the water. She got out of the shower with him, grabbing one of the towels and drying off it with. She watched him as he got out. Sometimes she wished they could spend all their time together. She got dressed, then sat on their bed. She loved going to the beach and it had been so long since she went with Danny.

Dimitri smirked, taking the number from her. "Great." He said. He put the number in his pocket, "Do you have a way home?" He asked. He knew how dangerous the streets could be at night and he didn't want her to be walking by herself. Even if he was one of the things that she had to worry about.

Danny smiled kissing her back before nodding and said, "It was your idea." He reminded her laughing before kissing her again. He got out and dried off before he got dressed. He walked out and saw her and laughed kissing her before telling her, "You look sexy." He smiled knowing he didn't normally dress the way he did but he knew he would be at the beach and needed to be in clothes suited for ot. He was surprised he even had a tank top in his collection of clothing.

Gwen smiled softly before blinkg hearing his words. She shook her head. "I normally walk everywhere." She watched him for a second. "Why do you ask?" She smiled as she watched him, pushing her hair back away from her face as she propped her chin up on her hand as she did so. He was gorgeous. That much was evident and she was glad she had met him. He seemed like a normal person, except for his job, but she was pretty sure that her father was going to kill her if this, whatever it was, turned into something serious.

Nova smiled, "Thats because if I wouldn't have suggested it then you would have never done something like that." She teased him. She watched as he got dressed, then kissed him back. She got up, taking his hand, "Alright, lets go." She said.

Dimitri smiled, "Well, this place isn't exactly the best place." He said. "Would you like me to walk you home?" He asked her. He wanted to make sure she got home safe. Even if he was the person she should be worried about.

Danny laughed and said, "I guess. I like working." He told her smiling. "Though, I do suppose I should at least take some days off in the week." He smiled at her before nodding lacing their fingers. He pulled his shades on before heading to their car. He got in before zipping out into traffic a smirk on his face as he headed to the beach barely following any traffic laws.

Gwen laughed before saying, "I guess it isn't. Though, I can usually take care of myself." She told him with a smile knowing that her dad had made her take self defense classes at an early age. She blinked hearing his offer. "Sure." She told him smiling as she picked up her purse and asked, "Ready?" She walked towards the door before heading out onto the sidewalk.

Nova smiled, "Yea i know." She said as she put her sunglasses on. She relaxed in the passenger seat, her fingers laced with his. She looked out the window as they moved through traffic. Nova was glad she was getting to spend time with him.

Dimitri nodded, "After you." He said. He walked with her down the street with her to her home. He stopped with her in front of her house. "I meant to ask you. It may be completely dumb to ask, but my boss is having this big dinner party thing. You wanna come with me?" He asked her. He figured not going alone would be nice

Danny smiled as he just relaxed having her hand entwined with his. Once they were at the beach, he parked in a spot before getting out and asking, "Did we pack the cooler and put water and beer in it?" He asked. "If not, I can go get some." He told her.

Gwen gave him a sweet smile. She had to admit that she felt much safer walking down the street with Dimitri by her side. Hearing his question, she turned to him giving him a smile. "Let me decide in the next week if you're actually going to kill me or not?" She teased before smiling again. "Or at least ask me on a date before then." She grinned leaning up and kissing his cheek. She turned around waving gently as she headed into her house. "I did give you my number after all." She laughed blowing a kiss before she closed the door biting down harshly on her lip extremely happy at the moment.

Nova nodded, "Yea, I got it this morning." She said. She got out with him, grabbing their bag. She watched as he grabbed the cooler then walked with him onto the beach. It was nice to be near the ocean. Once they found a spot and set up, Nova kissed him, smiling.

Dimitri grinned, "Alright, I will see you soon." He said, watching as she went inside. He went back to his apartment and sighed as he walked inside.

Danny smiled kissing her head. "Alright." He told her before lifting up the cooler closing the trunnk as he walked onto the beach setting down the cooler to the place that Nova chose and smiled at the ocean figuring people were staring at all of his tattoos that covered almost his entire body. He kissed her back before picking her up walking towards the ocean and throwing her in laughing as he saw her.

Gwen laughed and said, "I count on it!" Once inside, she took a shower before getting her makeup off and falling back onto her bed happily and sighed seeing the time, but still couldn't sleep for some reason.

Nova screamed as he picked her up, knowing his plan. "Daniel!" She scolded him, splashing him. She smiled as she grabbed his arm and pulled him in with her.

The next day, Dimitri texted Gwen asking when she wanted to go out again. He chuckled as he seen her response. He liked her a lot.
