(I hope this is okay!)
It had surprised Scott that he’d been invited to meet a new pack - but, more than anything, it surprised him that a new pack was here in Beacon Hills. He didn’t expect for a new pack to be anywhere near Beacon Hills. At the same time, it worried him, because people were dying, due to a deadpool circulating around. Freelance hunters were taking out supernaturals for profit, one by one. He knew that there was the chance that, if more people came to Beacon Hills, they may get dragged into the trouble, and he didn’t want that for anybody - especially not an unsuspecting pack who probably knew nothing about it. He figured he could bring it up when he went to meet the pack, which was where he was heading to now, anyways. For now, he was walking there, though he had Isaac tagging along, just in case.
When the deadpool had come up, he hadn’t wanted to drag Isaac back into the mess, not after everything they’d all been through, but he worried that they’d all be in danger either way, so it was better to keep them all together. There was safety in numbers, that’s what he believed. Sighing out, he ran his hands through his hair as they got to the address and he looked to his friend, watching him for a moment, before he looked down to check the address, just in case. “Looks like this might be the right place,” he mentioned, lifting his gaze to scan over the house for a moment. For a moment, he wondered what kind of pack was inside, since he hadn’t met any of them yet - he’d just gotten the invitation in the mail, which honestly creeped him out a bit. He hoped they weren’t anything like the Alpha pack.
“Let’s hope this goes okay,” he said after a moment, looking to Isaac again, “Thanks for being here. I’d ask Stiles, but… I’m not sure what this pack is like and he’s only human, so I’d rather have a wolf who’s experienced, you know?” He offered a weak, worried smile before moving to the door to knock on it, though he glanced down at his phone to check the time. It looked like he was right on time and he breathed out a sigh of relief - at least that meant he wouldn’t seem like some rude guy as a first impression, especially if this pack ended up being a good one. They needed as many allies as they could get and he wanted to make a good first impression.
For a while,
Sari stared at herself in the mirror, frowning to herself. She wasn’t sure that she was all that eager about the dinner their father had set up with the True Alpha, though her father had mentioned that the True Alpha would be bringing a guest as well. There was a pit of worry in her stomach as she wondered why their father was even going through the trouble of doing this. Shaking her thoughts away, she turned to make her way out of her room to go see her sister. Pausing at Freya’s door, she hesitated for a moment before knocking lightly on the door. “Freya? Are you ready?” she called out through the door gently, shifting, unsure. The fact that they’d moved all this way just for the True Alpha didn’t make sense, but she didn’t want to mention anything.
It felt weird, too, though, being away from the rest of the pack. It was only the immediate family who’d made their way there - their parents and Freya and Sari. Aside from the four of them, though, the rest of the pack was still back home, waiting for the alpha - Freya and Sari’s father - to have them come there. While Sari was next in line to become the alpha, she wasn’t sure she wanted the responsibility all that much, especially if it meant suddenly moving to make friends with a new alpha, even if it was a True Alpha. She peered towards the clock at the end of the hallway, taking note of the time, though it made a small frown form on her features. They didn’t have much time before the True Alpha and his guest were meant to show up. “It’s almost time,” she said gently through the door.
A part of her hoped that the guests wouldn’t show up. She was sure they’d meet them eventually, when it came time for Freya and Sari to start school, but having the meeting seem so… Formal made her uneasy and nervous. Peering down at herself, she quickly ran her fingers over her dress to straighten it out in an attempt to make herself look proper. They couldn’t risk bad impressions if they were meant to talk this True Alpha into whatever alliance their father had in mind - or, at least, she assumed it was an alliance. What else could their father uproot them all the way to Beacon Hills for?
