President of the United States. Could she really be married to the President of the United States? The idea of this had been running through her mind over and over again. It was truly exciting, yet at the same time a little nerve-racking since that would be a lot of changes was to be expected. However, she knew this was going to be coming at some point in her life, especially with being married to a Kennedy. Gently turning over in the bed, Jackie Kennedy looked over in the moonlight at her sleeping husband. For the past nine months, things had been full blown focused on Jack's Campaign, and she being the wife that she was, wanting nothing more than to make sure she was doing the best job that she could for her husband. It was just a little different when you're pregnant and each month, while it's getting closer to the Election Day, also meant it was getting closer to the Due Date. Not wanting to wake her husband, Jackie gently placed a hand on his back, gently rubbing it. Glancing over at the analogical clock on the bedside table, she just sighed to herself. It was about 1:30 in the morning and she was having trouble sleeping.

Gently raising her hand from her sleeping husband's back, Jackie slowly got out of bed, making her way towards their kitchen. As she walked through the house, she remained very quiet, not wanting to wake any of the guests, that being Jack's family. They had all agreed that a couple of weeks before the Election Day, they would all get together to have one more family dinner before Jack become PRESIDENT John F. Kennedy of the United States. She was thrilled to be spending this time as a family with them, however, she couldn't help but worry a little about her husband -- wondering how he was internally processing the idea of being the President.

Pulling a glass from the cabinet, Jackie slowly moved over to the sink, getting herself a glass of water. She had turned on one of the lamps near the kitchen, so the room had a dim-lit atmosphere about it; which she found to be rather calming. Pressing a hand to her rounded belly, Jackie just smiled. "Your daddy is going to he President of the United States." She whispered to her unborn child.

Feeling Jackie rubbing his back, Jack couldn't help the smile that formed into his lips as his wife rubbed his back. Feeling her get out of the bed, he knew that she had to take and get up cause she couldn't sleep. Slowly sitting up on his side of the bed. He took and rubbed the back of his neck before getting out. He couldn't believe that in a few short weeks, he'd be the next president. Making his way quietly down to the kitchen he saw the dim lit room and smiled. Hearing his wife's voice he heard speaking to their unborn child.

Kneeling down in front of his wife he smiled at her kissing her stomach. "And your mother is going to be the best first lady that United States has ever seen as well." Jack spoke to her stomach rubbing it with his hand gently as he rested his other hand on her leg. "Are you feeling ok sweetheart?" Jack questioned his wife.

Jackie smiled, watching as Jack walked into the room and kneeled down in front of her. She placed a hand on the side of her belly. Hearing Jack say that she would be the First Lady made her heart race a little. She was a little nervous about that. Sure, it wasn't as big of a deal as being the President of the United States. However, she had a reputation to withhold, so yes she had ever right to be nervous.

She kept rubbing the side of her belly, looking at her husband. "Yeah, I'm just feeling a little restless tonight, I guess." She spoke as she leaned up against the counter. "How are you feeling?" She asked her husband, knowing how Jack and his back were. It had been like that since they were married, but even before that since he hurt his back while he served in the Navy.

Jack got up slowly looking at her, "I'm fine." He promised her and smiled. "Do you want to go sit in the living room since we're both up now, honey?" Jack asked Jackie giving her a light smile as he kept his hand on her stomach and smiled at her admiring her.

Liking the sound of the idea, Jackie nodded with a small smile. "We could do that," She started heading into the living room, carefully sitting on the couch. When she sat down on the couch, a hand rested on the top of her belly, running her hand against the pink satin fabric of her nightgown. She moved over a little as Jack walked over to the couch as well, letting him sit down. "I can't believe this is happening. You're going to be President of the United States. We're having our second child, and this pregnancy was actually pretty easy this time around." She smiled, really glad to see things were going good for once with them.

Jack nodded his head, "I am glad this pregnancy was easy for you baby. The last one was hard." Jack smiled kissing her cheek. "I can't believe I won the election. It shocks me still to this moment in time." Jack admitted and smiled at her.

Jackie laid up against Jack and nodded, putting one of Jacks's hand on her belly. "I know we haven't had the best of luck with pregnancies, but I'm happy with the little ones we have." She smiled, thinking about their sleeping 3 year old, Caroline, upstairs. As she sat there with Jack, her mind went to what all they had been through in the last 7 years of marriage. There had been a series of good moments, but a number of bad moments as well. Closing her eyes, She relaxed as Jack was with her. "Jack." She spoke softly. "I love you."

Smiling hearing the words leave her mouth, "Jackie, I love you too." Jack told his wife rubbing her stomach lightly as he smiled. He kept her close to him and admired the beauty she had. She was truly a beautiful woman, and he loved her more than anyone in this world could dream of. Of course they had their up's and down's. But they were always beside of one another.

Opening her eyes, Jackie looked up to her husband, reaching up and kissed him softly on the lips. "Mr. President." She whispered softly against his lips as she slowly pulled back. Glancing over at the time, Jackie looked to him, just smiling as she sat up a little more on the couch, moving closer to him. "I think it's time to go back to the bed." She whispered, putting a hand on his chest.

Jack smiled, "I agree. I'm getting kind of tired this round." Jack looked at her and smiled as he offered his arm to his wife. "Shall we go to bed, First Lady?" He grinned at the words spilling from his mouth as he smiled at Jackie.

Jackie smiled at Jack's cute gesture as she slowly got up from the couch. "We shall, Mr. President." She spoke, loving him call her 'First Lady.' When she was standing, Jackie instantly linked her arm with his before moving towards the staircase. Kissing him once more, Jackie started making her way up the stairs with her husband, quietly walking into their bedroom. Once she was laying in bed, Jackie sat up against the headboard, waiting patiently for her husband to get into the bed. Sure, he was tired, but she was thinking of a sweet way to celebrate his victory with winning the election. However, Jackie Kennedy was the type of woman that didn't just directly come out and say what she wanted.

Climbing into the bed, Jack pulled her into his arms smiling at her. Resting his hand on her stomach he kind of had an idea of what she was wanting. But wasn't too sure with her so close to going into labor. Leaning over he kissed the side of her neck lightly, "Baby, do you think this is a good idea?" Jack whispered into her ear.

Jackie could sense the nervousness in Jack just by his tone of voice. She knew he was concern, but at the same time, she felt that everything was okay. Goosebumps danced across her skin as Jack whispered in her ear. It was moments like these that Jackie loved about her husband, and lately missed because of them being so focused on the campaign. Slowly nodding to his question, Jackie smiled a little, "I don't see it being a bad idea...as long as we're slow and careful." She whispered, feeling her heart rate speed up a little as her husband's lips kissed the side of her neck. "Are you up for it?" She asked, a hand sliding down his chest.

Jack smiled at his wife and nodded his head, "I am always up for it, baby." Jack whispered as he kissed down her neck letting his hand go up her stomach as he smiled against her neck.

For once, Jackie Kennedy felt like life was absolutely perfect. A smile started on her lips as Jack kissed down her neck. She smiled a little as she started to gently pull off Jack's shirt then pants. "This nightgown could go." She whispered as she kissed his lips.

Grinning Jack removed himself from her side as he removed her gown from her body and soon her underwear. He leaned down kissing her lips lightly being cautious of the baby bump.

"Oh Jack." She whispered and kissed him deeply on the lips. She giggled as she moved a little closer to him, feeling their bodies move closer together.

[Skipping ahead]

A little bit later, Jackie was laying on the bed, wrapped up in the bedsheets, her head resting on Jack's chest. "This is absolutely perfect." She whispered as she traced imaginary circles on Jack's chest. She could feel her heart still racing a little from the activity they just did together and she couldn't help but smile. "You know I was starting to wonder if we were going to be doing that anytime soon." She laughed a little, whispering. "I hope we weren't too loud though." She blushed.

Jack chuckled and smiled, "I'm sure we're not." Jack whispered keeping her close to him and rubbing her back. He let his eyes slowly flutter shut as he laid there. He hoped they got alone time together like this even with him being the President. He could hope anyways.

Jackie smiled, laying close to her husband. She was really grateful for this time together, even though it was extremely late. Looking up to Jack, she just blushed. “I love you Jack Kennedy.” She spoke softly as she kissed him once more. She then lightly yawned before slowly drifting asleep.



“Daddy! Mommy!” Caroline said as she came running into their room. She gently jumped up on the bed. “Gooood Morning!” She said with a bright smile. “Daddy is the president!” She said. Since getting the news that her daddy was going to be the president, Caroline had to say it every morning for the last couple of days since the Election Day.

Jackie smiled, but couldn’t help but groan a little when she hesrd Caroline rush into their room. She slowly opened her eyes and turned to their daughter, smiling a little. “Good Morning my little energy bunny.” She laughed as Caroline hugged her and then kissed her belly. Jackie then turned Jack, smiling and blushing him. “Good Morning Mr. President.”
