When the brothers had gotten the call from Jody, Dean was in the middle of his third beer and watching one of his favorite girls at one of the local bars. It was the first Sunday he'd been able to have for himself since things with Lucifer had gone south again. He was pissed, to say the least, that he was being offered up to babysit. As soon as Sam walked into the bar, he took the keys from his brother's hand, letting out a grumble as he unlocked the Impala.

"Two teenage girls appear, and Jody thinks to call us? And you told her we'd be there?" Dean raised his eyebrows over at Sam, rolling his eyes as Sam opened his mouth to explain. "I know, man. I get that they're saying weird shit, but there's plenty of other hunters to call. Shit, Jody's got Claire and Alex now. What's two more?"

    -------

Lauren kicked at a rock in the driveway, folding her arms across her chest as she looked over at her friend. Isabelle hadn't said much since they got here, but then, Lauren couldn't blame her. Here wasn't even supposed to exist. But it did. And because of Isabelle's mouth and Lauren's resistance, the hunter both girls recognized as Jody Mills was quick to call for help.

From what they could assume, none other than the Winchesters. It was bad enough that they knew who they were already; in their universe, they were nothing more than characters on a screen notorious for getting into situations that usually left people dead. But being face to face with them was something else entirely -- trouble followed the two like a magnet. And Isabelle and Lauren didn't need anymore of it.

"Think we could make a run for it?" Lauren asked, looking back at Isabelle.

Sam had been so confused by what Jody was trying to tell him about the two girls that showed up that he had been left with nothing that he could do other than to agree to come. That was what he and Dean did, they saved people and hunted things. Two girls that were saying they were from another world entirely, well, they likely needed the Winchesters help. Sighing, Sam held up his hands as Dean started the Impala.

"Not many people come around talking about this world like they do, Dean. They're talking like they... they already know what's going to happen. What if they can help us stop Lucifer?" Sam countered with a raised eyebrow, looking toward his brother. "Besides. What if one of them is cute, Dean?" He wasn't taking the thought seriously for himself but he hoped if he convinced Dean that one of the girls might be cute, then the older Winchester would be more agreeable.
Isabelle stood with her arms crossed, staring at the front door as she stood beside Lauren. Her frown seemed to deepen the longer that they stood there, her stomach twisting into an uncomfortable knot. She was a bundle of nerves and the only thing that kept her even remotely together was the fact that her best friend stood right beside her. If she had been alone, she had no clue how she would have gotten through this.

Pursing her lips, Isabelle gave a shrug as she glanced down the driveway. "Probably. But if those headlights are who I think they are, we won't get far," she murmured, motioning toward the approaching headlights. She knew them anywhere, as much as she might want to deny it, the Winchesters were close. "Besides. If anyone can help us figure out how to get back, it's them. We both know that... right?"

Dean gave a roll of his eyes before looking back over at Sam. If anyone knew how to get Dean interested in something, it was his brother. Damn him. He entertained the thought for a split second before shaking his head, slowing down on the accelerator when they reached Jody's neighborhood.

"They're probably teenage girls or something, Sam. What the hell can we do with that?" He paused for a second, turning the music down. "And we don't need any help with Lucifer, as far as I'm concerned. Bad enough we're partnering with the demon."

    ----

Lauren narrowed her eyes at the sight of the black Impala coming down the road, the soft purr almost surprising her. For a second, she was waiting for it to break down -- to prove that it was only a prop and the girls weren't actually stuck here. But of course they weren't that lucky.

She shielded her eyes as they pulled into the driveway, standing closer to Isabelle almost protectively. "Still think it's too late to make a run for it?"

Sam snorted, crossing his arms as Dean spoke. "You're acting like you've never looked at a girl younger than you, dude. I mean, not to call you out but..." he trailed off, giving Dean a pointed look. "Remember the girl in Boise? You were all ready to screw her until you found out she was only turning 18 in like, two months. That's literally the only thing that stopped you from fucking her, can't even pretend I'm wrong," he said with a dry laugh.

He looked up, eying the two girls who stood outside of Jody's home. "This should be fun," he grumbled, sliding out of the car. He slammed the door, stepping toward the girls as he ran his hands down the side of his jeans. "Hey, girls. Are you Isabelle and Lauren?" Despite the fact that he asked, he knew damn well that they were. Not many people hung around Jody's home, not unless they were supposed to be there.
Isabelle bit back a sigh when the boys climbed out of the Impala. Her stomach twisted into a nervous knot and she wondered briefly if it was too late for them to turn and run. But she knew it was stupid to even try, if anyone was going to help them it was going to be the Winchester brothers. She drew in a deep breathe, nodding when Sam spoke to them.

"We are," she uttered, not even bothering to ask who they were. If Jody had told them anything, well, she was sure they had dissected all of the information as much as possible. "Should we... er, head inside?" She asked, feeling like a fool for the way that she spoke. She wasn't as sure of herself as she normally was and she damn well knew it.

Dean gave a roll of his eyes, letting out a huff as Sam got out of the car. A few seconds later, he followed suit, sliding out of the car after he heard his brother talking. He stuffed a hand in his pockets, his eyes scanning over the two girls in front of him. If he were being honest, the two seemed like trouble. Not the kind that he wanted to get into, but the kind that always seemed to follow him and his brother.

He raised an eyebrow at the brunette one, gesturing for them to go ahead. "After you, sweetheart." He forced his lips into a grim smile before giving a look to his brother. Sure, he could definitely see the girls helping with the damned devil. They probably never even shot a gun before.

"So Sam here tells me that you know more than you're supposed to, huh? Where'd you get your information from? Twitter?" He hadn't meant for it come out as sarcastic as it did, but he wasn't going to be easy on them for sure.

    -------------

As soon as Isabelle disappeared inside with Dean right behind her, the feeling in her chest only seemed to get worse the second she was alone with Sam. When they got inside, she made a move to sit on the couch, watching the way that Dean was interacting with Isabelle. She knew, among other things, that Sam was more level-headed and collected of the two and less likely to jump to conclusions.

"We're not incapable, if that's what you're thinking. And judging by things you two manage to get into, you could use our help. Thinking before running balls deep isn't exactly your strong suit," Lauren quipped, her eyebrows raising. She hadn't intended for it to come out that harsh, but the situation had her on edge.
