They Will Tear Us Part.

Maria
I sat down in the booth at the little diner. I looked at Alyssa and gave her smile. "Sorry, I'm late. I got a little lost," I said as I glanced at my mom to make sure that my mom hadn't texted me about Wade, my three year old son. As much as I wanted to bring him with me, my mom hadn't had the chance to see him in awhile. Seeing how Alyssa said she needed to talk, it was best it was just the two of us. "So what's going on?" I asked. I glanced around making sure none of the guys we were related to were around.

Opie
I glanced up from the car that I was working on. Tig and Kozik were getting riled up, arguing with each other. As much as we tried to talk some sense into the two of them, it never worked. The rest of the guys and I tried to keep them as far from each other as we possibly could, but with being behind in the shop we needed as many hands we could have working on the cars.

"Kozik, let's get something to eat," I said, pushing away from the car I was working on. It was close to lunch time anyways, and I was desperate to do anything that kept them from beating each other bloody.

Alyssa
I waited in the booth for Maria, feeling nervous about what was going on. I worked at the diner and thankfully her brother bought that she had to go into work either. I fixed my uniform as I saw Maria walk into the diner. I smiled softly when she sat down. "Well my brother thinks that me and you should have a rider with us at all times" I said with a soft sigh. Our families were protective of me and Maria since we were young. "I told him that was ridiculous. I can't have bikers outside of my job. Right now, he dropped it but I am worried because of our new friends" she said referring to Opie & Kozik who were regulars at the diner. They were good guys and always tipped well, they also scared away creepers. "That is why I came to work earlier just in case my brother followed me" I then added as I took a sip of my coffee.

Kozik
I felt my blood boil as Tig got into my face for the second time today. I wanted to kick his ass so bad. Opie kept be back from him. I then heard Opie mentioned lunch and I was hungry, plus it meant I could see Maria. "Alright lets go" I said getting up and walking out to the parking lot. I got on my bike and waited for Opie before heading off towards the diner.

Maria
I nodded, agreeing with her. I loved our families, but they could be very overprotective and over the top at times. I had to slip past my father when leaving the house as much as I felt bad. "Yeah, I agree. Is there even a reason as to why they want us to have a rider with us?" I asked, looking down at the coffee in front of me. "I can't get a word out of my father about anything when it comes to why we are needing to be protected, and that bothers me worse than having an unwanted shadow, you know?" Even though I knew that was how the guys were, it still annoyed her that she had grown up around those guys and they would always want to keep her in the dark about everything.

Opie
I shook my head as I headed to the bike. There wasn't any hesitation with Kozik when it came to the diner. I didn't blame him there. One of the biggest reasons as to why I went there was because of the beautiful waitress Alyssa. I hopped on my bike and rode off with Kozik. Once we were parked, we went in and looked around. There they were the two girls who had us coming back here every time to this very diner.

Alyssa

I took another sip of my coffee. “The only reason my brother gave is for protection. He didn’t say from what. I’m just glad he will leave me alone at work that’s if he keeps his promise” I said softly. I then nodded. “Yeah it took me awhile to get the protection answer from Alex” I added. I could protect myself but all my family saw was a pretty face that was young and needed protecting. I was about to say something when Opie & Kozik walk in. Our friends are here” I whispered with a small smile. I couldn’t take my eyes off Opie, he was so handsome and sweet. I was flirt especially with him. Often having dreams about him. “Guess we better get to work” I said with a smirk to Maria before getting up. I clocked in as they sat down. I then walked over to them, knowing they didn’t need menus. “Do you guys want your usual today?” I asked with a sweet smile as I grabbed my pen. I wrote down Kozik’s answer before looking at Opie. “What about you handsome?” I asked with a playful smirk

Kozik
I walked over to a booth with Opie and sat down. Once I told Alyssa my order, I began to look around for Maria, wondering if she worked today. I hoped she that would come to say hi. During their breaks they would come sit with us and talk. She was so sexy and very easy to talk to.

Maria
I thought about what Alyssa said as I went and clocked in. I went into the back to grab my apron before heading back out and took an order. I could feel the eyes of Kozik on me the entire time as I wrote down the order from the family in front of me. I was always happy to see Kozik in the diner. I had been attracted to him since the first time I saw him and couldn’t stop my inner fantasies that involved him. I almost wondered if he felt the same or if it was a one-sided attraction on my part. And to be honest, that felt like a let down to me. I turned and went to put the order in. As I walked past their table, I reached over and gave Kozik’s shoulder a squeeze. “Hey there, sweets,” I said with a wink. “Hey, Opie,” I said with a friendly smile.

Opie
I looked up at Alyssa and smiled. “Doll, you know what I want,” I said. I always had the same thing, but I knew that I had purposely given her a double meaning to my words. There was just something amazing about Alyssa that I couldn’t help myself. She was always so easygoing and beautiful that caught my eye every time I saw her in the same room as me. I glanced over when Maria greeted me. I lifted my fingers to her, but my eyes went straight back to Alyssa.
