Amelia watched Scott for a few long moments, surprised with how… Easy it was to relax with him nearby. She was certain that, any other time, she’d be wolfing out the moment the bell rang, the noise irritating and startling her enough that it likely would have happened if Scott wasn’t there, helping her through it. “I… I guess that makes sense,” she murmured quietly, though she felt her panic and concerns ease away when she felt Scott’s hand over hers. Her gaze locked onto his and, for some reason, she knew she could trust him, that she could believe him, that she could rely on him, and some part of her wanted to give into that feeling, to accept it. Still, she swallowed hard and peered around a bit, her gaze going to Harper, hopeful they shared more classes together, but uncertain about their next class.
Her gaze went back to Scott as she listened to his instructions, and she offered a small nod. “I’d appreciate the help,” she murmured quietly, shifting a bit to start packing her things up, not wanting to waste any more time, because she didn’t want to be late to her next class. She knew that when they were late to lessons with their Alpha, they faced awful punishments as a consequence, and she didn’t want to think that it could be possible to face anything similar here, but how was she to know whether such a thing happened here or not? After she finished packing, she shifted to stand up, ready to head to their next class.
Theo had made sure to keep an eye on Harper throughout class, just in case she needed help with anything, wanting to be able to help her in any way that he could, because he was sure all of this was a new experience for her and diving right into it must have been so difficult when she wasn't used to any of it. When he saw how confused she was with the bell, he quickly squeezed her hand, trying to comfort her in any way that he could. "It's alright, it's normal," he promised her quietly, "The bells signal the end of class and the beginning of the next one in a few minutes." He figured she'd need to know because it was only a matter of time before the next one rang and he wanted her to be as prepared as possible. Admittedly, he'd never felt this much concern for any one person before, for anybody at all, but something about Harper made him want to do whatever it took to make things as easy for her as he could.
His eyes watched her as she started to pack up and he offered a smile as he started to pack up as well, not wanting to hold her up and wanting to make sure she managed to get to her next class without a problem. Hearing that her next class was S3 put his heart at ease, because he shared the class with her, which meant he'd get to be around her a little while longer, and he'd get to keep making sure she was okay. "No, we switch classrooms for each class, since many teachers only specialize in certain subjects," he told her, "But lucky us, you and I share the next class together, so at least you'll have somebody to go through it all with." He stood up with his things, peering over at her, enjoying the sight of her, but he cleared his throat to try to focus. "Ready to go, then?"
