Casey nodded as she stared at the food for a minute before dleicately beginning to take small bites. "I want this all to end" she said softly, glancing across the table at him.

Jonathan nodded, "Yeah, I was everything was back to normal," he said lightly. He looked across at her, "although we would go back to not speaking with each other, and being generally on opposite ends of popularity," he commented.

Casey glanced up from her food, raising an eyebrow delicately. "You think so?" She asked quietly as she studied his face. "I mean... I feel like things would be different" she said, shrugging softly.

Jonathan shrugged gently, "I'm not sure, would you want to be my friend around your friends?" he asked softly.

Casey sighed softly "I mean... I don't think there's too many of them left to worry about" she commented, scaryching behind her ear uncomfortably. "I've seen you in a different way to before Jon, I'm sorry I didn't see it sooner"

Jonathan nodded softly, "Yeah I suppose, I'm sorry, I guess I still see myself as the weird kid," he said lightly. He took her hands, "I'll do my best to keep you safe, so you can be around to see things go back to normal," he said softly.

Casey looked down at his hand, frowning slightly as she realised the staining on the cuff of his jacket. She pulled his hand towards her, gently pulling up his sleeve and shaking her head. "Did you know you got cut?" She asked him. Tell wound wasn't all that big, but it looked really deep.

Jonathan looked down at his arm and frowned. "No I didn't notice, maybe it's from the wire, or from burying Daniel," he said softly. He moved to the seat, and sat down. "I hope it'll heal," he said softly.

"it looks like it was sliced alright, I don't think it was from Daniel. Let me try and fix it up" she said to him, grabbing the first aid kit from the bcupboard. She frowned slightly as she cleaned it. She didn't know too much about wounds, but she knew this one didn't look great, there's was lots of first all around it. "Sorry if I'm hurting you" she said quickly as she poured some rubbing alcohol in to it.

Jonathan nodded gently, and let her do her own thing. He looked at the wound, "yeah I don't know, what would of caused this," he said softly. He looked at her, "I'm sure it'll be fine, just do what you need to, make sure it doesn't get infected," he said. He tensed slightly, as she poured alcohol over the wound, but remained still and silent.

Casey nibbled at her lip as she tried to apply paper stitches to the wound. She sighed loudly. "Jon... I really don't think the paper ones are gonna hold the cut together.... How would you feel about some sewing thread?" She asked softly, looking up in to his eyes.

Jonathan looked down and shrugged lightly. "Yeah that would be fine, just clean it first," he said softly. He looked out the window for a moment, before looking back at her, "I can do it myself, if you're uncomfortable," he offered.

Casey shook her head "it's a bad angle for you.. I want to make sure it's done properly" she said softly, grabbing the sewing kit from the collection of miscellaneous items her uncle had stored away. She held the needle under the flame of the candle for a minute before threading it.

"I'm sorry if this hurts more" she said, and began sewing the cut together, holding back the urge to gag as the blood began to pool around her finger tips.

Jonathan nodded softly and sat still. He left her to sew up his wound. "It's fine, I can handle the pain," he said softly. Once she was done, he looked at her, "Thank you, how are you feeling?" he asked gently.

Casey shook her head softly, turning away as soon as she had finished stitching up the wound. "Have I ever mentioned how much I hate blood?" She commented with an awkward laugh, quickly moving towards the sink to wash it off her fingers.

Jonathan nodded gently, "yeah you mentioned it, thank you for stitching me up," he said lightly. He quickly pulled his sleeve back down, so she wouldn't see the blood when she turned back.

He moved over to the bed and sat down on the side of it.

Casey felt a shiver run down her spine as she straightened up, moving over towards the battery radio and aimlessly beginning to fidgeted with it. She wasn't even sure what she was hoping for, but it was something to do. "So uh... When did your mum move Out of the picture?" She asked softly.

Jonathan watched her closely, "Ages ago, I was still in primary school," he said softly. He fidgeted with his shirt, "What about you? how is your family situation?" he asked.

Casey nodded softly "I mean.. I never really knew my dad, but my step dad Steve was around since I was 3, I guess, I kinda forgot that he wasn't my dad sometimes which was nice. He never made me feel any different to Kyle" she said with a soft smile "my mom was my mom.. just your average mom really" she said with a small laugh. "Like I said before.. they headed out of state when this kicked up, Steve works for the CDC" she said softly.

Jonathan nodded softly, "Did they tell you where they were headed?" he asked her curious. He wondered whether they might be able to find her parents.
