"Can't sleep" she asked gently, glancing from the window to him. She was really getting used to having him around, and was actually really glad to have him since he was so good with weapons.

She looked up in to his eyes as he held his jacket out to her "Are you sure? I don't want to getting cold?" She asked, and stood up from the chair moving towards him. "You're really such a sweet guys Jonathan" she commented, without even thinking about it.

Jonathan nodded softly, "Yeah I'm sure, my other clothes are in better shape than yours," he stated. To him it seemed clear, her shirt was ripped and barely held together his wasn't. He smiled softly "I'll be okay," he said lightly. He handed her the jacket them turned back to the bed picking up his gun.

He wanted to head back into town and get some of his supplies maybe move Kyle to the school, but it was dark outside still.

She smiled gratefully, thanking him as she slipped her arms in to the jacket. It was still warm from his body heat, and she could instantly feel the difference it made to her body. Without realising, she must have been tending to avoid shaking from the cold because Casey quickly felt her whole body relax.

"So... what's the plan for the day?" She asked him, perching herself back down on the edge of the bed. She could tall from the way he was moving that he intended to do something, she just kind of hoped it wasn't to go back to town.

Jonathan sat down on the chair and shrugged lightly, "I'm not sure, there are a few things that should be done," he said lightly. He looked out the window, "we should clear some of the shrubs to widen the clearing so we see things coming, and build a perimeter to keep walkers out," he stated.

He then looked down at his guns on the table, "and I need to go back into town get some supplies, bury Kyle," he said lightly.

Casey nodded "how do you plan to build up the perimeter?" She asked gently, knowing full well there were no building supplies anywhere near the cabin, unless the lug them all the way back from town. She looked out the window, trying to imagine what it would look like once they cleared the shrubs.

She did want to bury her brother, but the town honestly still had her freaked since yesterday, but she trusted Jonathan. He needed to get his supplies and he had successfully stayed alive in the centre of town for this long, one more day surely couldn't do either of them any harm.

Jonathan sat back thinking, "I was thinking the shrubs we remove, and some logs, maybe try get ahold of some wire in town and some tools," he explained. He had no idea about building or anything like that but figured that they'd be able to work something out.

He looked over at her, for a moment, "what are your thoughts?" he asked lightly. He figured if they were going to stick together they should both have input.

Casey scratched the back of her neck trying to envision it in her head "yeah that could work, I think there's a bear trap or two out the back that we could set?" She suggested, his idea was great, her only worry was that bu removing the shrubs, it would also make the cabin more visible from farther away.

"If we remove the trees, won't that make us easier to find?" She asked him softly, knowing he probably had an answer for it.

Jonathan listened to her thoughts and nodded, "yeah maybe, I want to check the forest before we do anything, but if we do it properly hopefully it'll allow us to see what approaches and it won't make the cabin's position obvious," he said.

He scratched at his arm lightly, he also wanted to sort out a way to clean himself off, to be honest it had been awhile since he had showered.

"Yeah okay, that all sounds good." Casey answered, pulling his jacket closer around herself. She knew if they were going to go to town she was going to need to eat a little more, yesterday's trip had wiped her and she knew a full nights sleep was a luxury.

"Do you want some food?" She asked him, getting up to go to the kitchen.

Jonathan understood her concerns and hoped that they'd be able to work out how to do it safely. He looked up at her, when she asked if he wanted to eat, "no I'll be okay," he said lightly. He knew he would probably need to eat the next night though. He had been spacing out his food and water fairly well, and he felt bad eating her food until he had checked his was still there.

"Are you sure? Because if you pass out on me there's no guaranteee I'll be able to help" she said, only half joking. For her self she to okout two of the cracker quarters and squirted the tiniest bit of spray cheese on both.

She didn't mind sharing, especially if they were going to town to collect his things. And he had saved her life, so the least she owed him was a cracker.

Jonathan nodded softly watching her, "Yeah I'm sure," he said lightly. He continued sitting watching out the window. He seemed to always be watching around him.

Jonathan had never spent this much time with someone in person for ages. It was a pleasant change of pace for him.

Casey found herself staring at the back of Jonathan's head just smiling to herself. When she realised what she was doing she was taken aback... was she catching feelings? She swallowed hard, turning her back to him and staring in to the sink. She didn't know how to feel about this whatsoever.

It wasn't exactly the best of times to be developing a crush, when either or both of them could become dead at any moment.

Jonathan sat in quiet contemplation for a while, just watching out the window, as dawn light slowly rose. He was still undecided about what they should do today, but he was leaning towards heading back into town.

He sighed softly, "Casey, are you happy to go back into town again?" he asked her.

Casey snapped out of her daze and turned to face him quickly "ahh yup, that's okay with me" she told him, giving a slightly awkward laugh. Only Casey could find herself in this situation in a zombie apocalypse.

"Teach me how to shoot first?" She asked softly, knowing she would feel safe if she could.

Jonathan smiled slightly at her laugh, "I suppose I can show you some stuff, what weapon did you want to learn to shoot?" he asked her. He figured he could show her how the weapon works and how to shoot it, without her actually shooting and making a huge racket.

Casey shrugged, taking the key out of her bra again and moving toward the bed to retrieve her uncles guns. "I guess the handgun? It's small and seems easy to carry around" she suggested, pulling it out of its case and holding it in her hands.

Jonathan nodded lightly, "I think that's a good start," he said. He hoped also know it would be easier for her to get the hang of.

He moved over to her, and crouched down grabbing some ammo for the handgun. He figured he would have to teach her how to reload the magazine as well.
