This contest is for oneshots or short stories inspired by a lyric. The lyric you choose (below) does not need to be included in your story, but should obviously be the base or overall theme.

I love this contest idea! I'm not feeling super inspired by any of these lyrics though -- is it okay if I use a different The Maine lyric? I have a story in mind and it was partially inspired by Bad Behavior, specifically, "You medicate me with your poses. I'm a lush, I know you notice. You're bad for me."

(Also I hope this doesn't sound dicky but I think the All Time Low lyric is, "Eyes glued shut"!)
