Emily sighed as her alarm clock went off. She laid in bed, listening to the silence in her house. The best thing about mornings was that her dad was usually at work by the time she got up so she didn’t have to see or deal with him until later in the evening.

Em pulled herself out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. Once she was done, she brushed her teeth before going back to her room and throwing on some clothes before drying her hair. She threw it up into a bun, leaving some loose bits hanging, before grabbing her backpack and heading downstairs.

Her mom was passed out, once again, and Emily sighed as she went into the kitchen and grabbed a banana and her mom’s car keys before leaving the house. She wasn’t supposed to be driving but since her mom was incoherent, she had no choice.
Emmett stood with his two brothers as they waited for their sisters to get ready. “Alice! Rosalie! Come on! We’re going to be late!” He called, obviously getting frustrated.

The two girls stomped downstairs and glared at Emmett. “It takes time to look this good.” Rosalie said, flipping her blonde hair. Emmett rolled his eyes but didn’t respond as he went out to their Jeep.

Once everyone was in, he headed towards the high school, ready to be done with this school year before it even started.

    (Hope this is okay!)

Jasper sighed as he peered over at his brother, he was dreading heading to a new school. It wasn't something he was looking forward to. He'd spent most of the night hunting, doing his best to quench his thirst. Seeing how he was about to spend the next seven hours in a building filled with pulsing vascular systems. His struggle with human blood still plagued his mind. And thankfully his mind reading brother wasn't interested in his inner struggle. Looking at his moody brother, he sighed knowing this change was hard for him. The past few weeks since they'd left Forks he'd been a ghost. He however was rather happy his brother was back, it felt more like family when he was around. He couldn't explain it, after all he'd never considered any vampire he'd been around as family, not until the Cullens. It wasn't with out it's struggles, but he was slowly getting used to it. Getting into Emmett's jeep he waited on the rest of the group, knowing this was about to get interesting. They were always getting stared at, so he didn't see today being any different.
Nova nibbled on her lip as she ran her hand through her slightly tangled locks. The wind this morning was a bit unforgiving. Entering the main building of the school she headed straight for the girls bathroom. It was normal for her to tuck out of her house in the morning before anyone was awake. The last time she stuck around her foster father had been rather touchy. She wasn't willing to take that chance so she'd leave early, then spend time in the girls bathroom doing her makeup. She'd stolen most of what she couldn't borrow, her friends knew her home life wasn't the greatest. But to keep people from staring she'd always apply makeup to hide her bruises. She'd already had to deal with the police snooping around once already, and it wasn't something she was looking forward to dealing with again. The beating she'd gotten had chills running down her spine as she thought about, not something she wanted to relive. Setting to work she quickly applied a thin layer of foundation, not knowing much about makeup, just the necessities. Throwing the product back into her bag, she headed out to her locker, already dreading the day ahead of her.

(It's great, sorry haven't replied sooner, my son is sick. Spent the past couple of days in the hospital. Hoping we don't have to remove his tonsils)

    (It’s okay! Hopefully not!)

Emily made it to school and found a parking spot. She sighed as she looked in the mirror, checking her makeup. She had applied it very thin today, but she had to cover the bruises from her father. No one, not even her closest friends, knew what went on behind closed doors and she intended to keep it that way.

She got out and headed up to the school yard. Everyone was talking about the new siblings that they were acquiring today, apparently it was a group of three brothers and two sisters.

Emily was slightly interested as she heard that this group of siblings were flawlessly gorgeous, she wondered how much truth could be held to that but she supposed she find out soon.
Emmett stayed silent as he drove everyone to school. Once there, he found a parking space and looked back at his siblings. “Ready?” He said, seeing all of them nod.

He got out, waiting for the rest of them before they started the walk into school. It seemed to drag on forever and people were already staring at them. He was watching his siblings faces closely, especially Edward’s since he was probably listening to a bunch of high school girls fawning over them. Emmett chuckled slightly and Edward shot him a glare, having read his mind. “What? I’m serious!” Emmett laughed. He was glad he couldn’t read minds.

Jasper sighed as he looked up at the rustic building. He wondered when the last time it was checked, he knew small towns loved their roots, and would do their best to hold onto it, before it fell. Biting at his lip exited the jeep, he just hoped the building was stronger than it looked. Following the rest of his sibilings he headed inside not looking forward to this. Luckily vampires didn't need to breath, he just had to act like he was breathing. It was easier said than done, there were times he'd forget. Though he was getting better at it. Breaking barrier of the school he looked around noticing the rather neat and clean school. The inside was so different from the outside, newly painted walls, slightly used lockers. He was surprised that it was rather up to date. Nodding to Emmett this is where they parted and went to different classes. He ventured down the hallway before locating his classroom. Stepping into the room he noticed all eyes turn his way. To him though he could feel all their curiosity in the way their bodies reacted. Some were surprised, awed. Where as others were frightened, though that was a natural responce to him. After all vampires did lure you in with their looks and voice. But really they were killing machines. Smiling his famious crocked smile he could feel the shift in their feelings. Those that had felt fear were now embraced with a calm. He had that ability over people, and this time he didn't even have to use it.
Nova sighed as she closed her locker. Turning she ran right into someone, huffing she glared at the idiot just standing there. Before her eyes trailed off to see what had him fixed in his spot. Her brow shot up as she took in the appearence of the new kids. Rolling her eyes she shoved the guy, "as if you'd ever be as lucky." She told him knowing just where his mind was. She heard him mutter something along fuck off. But she wasn't paying any attention to him. She was already making her way to class. She slipped into the room, but not without throwing one last glance at the new kids. They seemed to perfect, and like everyone else she was intrigued by them. But she wasn't stupid enough to let that keep her from class. The last thing she wanted was to piss off her foster father. So skipping class wasn't going to happen, hell being tardy was bad enough. She would do anything to keep from having to deal with that man.
