Jasper sighed as he peered over at his brother, he was dreading heading to a new school. It wasn't something he was looking forward to. He'd spent most of the night hunting, doing his best to quench his thirst. Seeing how he was about to spend the next seven hours in a building filled with pulsing vascular systems. His struggle with human blood still plagued his mind. And thankfully his mind reading brother wasn't interested in his inner struggle. Looking at his moody brother, he sighed knowing this change was hard for him. The past few weeks since they'd left Forks he'd been a ghost. He however was rather happy his brother was back, it felt more like family when he was around. He couldn't explain it, after all he'd never considered any vampire he'd been around as family, not until the Cullens. It wasn't with out it's struggles, but he was slowly getting used to it. Getting into Emmett's jeep he waited on the rest of the group, knowing this was about to get interesting. They were always getting stared at, so he didn't see today being any different.
Nova nibbled on her lip as she ran her hand through her slightly tangled locks. The wind this morning was a bit unforgiving. Entering the main building of the school she headed straight for the girls bathroom. It was normal for her to tuck out of her house in the morning before anyone was awake. The last time she stuck around her foster father had been rather touchy. She wasn't willing to take that chance so she'd leave early, then spend time in the girls bathroom doing her makeup. She'd stolen most of what she couldn't borrow, her friends knew her home life wasn't the greatest. But to keep people from staring she'd always apply makeup to hide her bruises. She'd already had to deal with the police snooping around once already, and it wasn't something she was looking forward to dealing with again. The beating she'd gotten had chills running down her spine as she thought about, not something she wanted to relive. Setting to work she quickly applied a thin layer of foundation, not knowing much about makeup, just the necessities. Throwing the product back into her bag, she headed out to her locker, already dreading the day ahead of her.
(It's great, sorry haven't replied sooner, my son is sick. Spent the past couple of days in the hospital. Hoping we don't have to remove his tonsils)
