Who Are You Today?

After looking up at the time, a little smile came over Kassidy's lips. It was almost time for Arthur - or whoever it was - to wake up. The personalities were all different but they all tended to keep the same sleep schedule, somehow.

Moving back to the stove in front of her, Kassidy poured the eggs onto a serving plate. As per usual, she had gotten up in the morning to make breakfast for them both. Eggs, toast, fruit, and, of course, two slices of bacon. It was just easier to get up before him to do so. Kassidy was never quite sure who was going to be waking up with her, and some of Arthur's personalities did not know how to cook. Plus, during breakfast, she was able to figure out who had woken up that day.

Kassidy set the food down at the table before heading upstairs to the bedroom. She walked over to the sleeping figure and sat down on the bed next to it. Her hands moved onto his shoulder and Kassidy gently shook him. "Sweetie, It is time for breakfast."

Arthur was sleeping soundly, he never could tell when he would switch. Mornings were always interesting, he always woke up as someone randomly. He could subconsciously smell the bacon and toast as he snoozed away.

He felt someone shake him awake, he rolled over looking at her. "Morning Kass," he said lightly. Only a few of Arthur's personalities called her Kass; The child like one, the real Arthur, and the nice parent type personality.

Arthur somehow was able to switch personalities, which was a huge burden when trying to make friends.

"Morning." Kassidy said, smiling down at him. Well, the nickname narrowed down the options for who she was talking to. Though there were some options left still. Leaning down, Kassidy kissed his forehead gently before sliding out of bed. "Now, come on, lets go eat." She said before heading out of the room.

Earlier in their relationship, Kassidy was able to ask who she was talking to. Though now the personalities knew her too well, and it would sometimes irk them if she asked. Some of them just wanted her to be able to realize who she was talking to.

She headed down to the table and sat down in her seat. "Do you want a little bit of everything?" Kassidy asked as she started to serve herself.

Arthur blushed when she kissed him. It was a good thing that his personality are so different. The problem was his trouble maker one. He sometimes liked to pretend to be one of the other ones to throw Kassidy a tough time.

Arthur smiled and stood up going with Kassidy to the dining room. He looked at the spread thought for a moment, "Please, I'd prefer not to have any bacon, although it smells delicious.

He sat back and waited fore her response. He was clearly wanting to get on with his day, an hoped Kass would be able to figure it.

Kass gave him a nob before she turned back to the food in front of her. She fixed up his place and set it down in front of him before doing the same for herself. As she ate, her eyes kept going back to him. He seemed to be getting rather antsy, but Kassidy was not positive as to why that was.

"What do you want to do today?" At this point, Kassidy was rather sure she knew who was out now, but the answer to the question will confirm it.

Arthur looked at her and smiled gently as she placed the food in front of him. He looked at her with a clear hint of love in his gaze. He was currently inhabited to Stanley.

Stanley was a homemaker fatherish personality. He was over protective of Kass whom he treated like his daughter. He was also a vegetarian. He usually spent his days, checking on Kass, and tidying the house.

Stanley looked up at Kass between taking bites of his breakfast. "I need to get some supplies, and tidy this place up a bit, dear." he said softly. "How about you, what have you got planned?" he asked.

Kassidy smiled gently at Stanley. It wasn't very hard to figure out that she was talking to the father-like personality. After all, he was always trying to clean, which the others were not so prone to do. If he was going to be out all day, it meant that it would be a peaceful day at least. Unlike some of the other personalities, Stanley was very much self efficient. And he preferred to take care of her rather than the other way around.

"Well, I have a couple of things I need to finish up for work this morning. Though, after that, I though I would spend the rest of the day with you, Stanley." Kass always ensured to say the name of who she was talking to when she did figure it out. Doing so confirmed to both of them that Kassidy knew who it was.

Stanley smiled gently, "well that would be lovely Kass," He commented. He finished his breakfast and tidied up the plates for her, "please don't let me keep you, go finish your work, thank you for breakfast," he said.

He made his way into the kitchen looking through the cupboards, writing a list of groceries. He figured he might as well pick somethings up while he was out.

He enjoyed spending time with Kass, and wanted to get on with his plans, so he'd be free by the afternoon.

"You are very welcome. I will let you know when I am finished." Kassidy said with a warm smile. And then, with that, she was headed out of the room and into their joint office.

Most of the work Kass was doing was easy, but time consuming. Though, luckily, Kassidy knew she would be able to finish it up before noon. After all, she had done most of it the day before. It was just something that needed to be done before Monday Morning.

As it neared closer to the middle of the day, Kassidy finally managed to finish up her work. She let out a small hum of satisfaction before closing everything up. Now, there was just one more than she needed to do, an entry for her diary on Arthur.

At the beginning of their relationship, Kassidy had bought a diary in order to write down everything about Arthur and his personalities. At first, she had just used it to keep track of how many he had, trying her hardest to ensure that she knew everyone. Though, now, Kassidy just used it to keep track of what was going on with all of them. However, it was not something that she had told Arthur about, unsure how he would react to it. And, at this point, Kassidy felt it would hinder her if she did not continue to update it. So, she always locked it up in the left bottom drawer of her desk so he wouldn't be able to find it.

Stanley smiled and left her work. He made his way to the bedroom and changed into clothes more his style. Blue jeans and a polo shirt. He spent some time in the bedroom making the bed, and putting their dirty clothes into the hamper. Once the room was satisfactorily tidy, he headed out to the shops.

Unfortunately, none of Arthur's alters drove, they didn't have licenses. So Stanley, walked down to the shops, a roll of cash in his pocket. He brought all the groceries on his list, and the cleaning supplies he needed; Before he headed back to the apartment.

Stanley put away all the groceries, and put the dishwasher on, as well as the washing machine. By this time it was roughly 11:30. He still hadn't washed the floors, or sorted the bookcase like he wanted to. He was clearly frustrated that the other alters weren't as tidy as him.

Instead of cleaning, he decided to make lunch for Kass. He headed into the kitchen and began working away on a warm meal for her.

Kassidy wrote in detail what personalities Arthur had taken on the day before and what had happened with them. Though, as she was beginning to finish up, she heard some movement outside of the office which caused Kassidy to immediately shove the diary in a drawer. This was absolutely not something she wanted Arthur to find, so by now she was used to hiding it when she needed to. It always ended up getting locked in the drawer, but sometimes she needed to put it in other locations before she could safely move it.

So, Kassidy got up and headed out to inspect what the noises were. She was not worried that the dairy wasn't locked away since it was still safe in her desk. As she peered out around the corner, Kass saw Stanely cooking lunch. "What are you making?"

Stanley was lost in his own little world working away on a pasta dish. He was busy cutting up vegetables to go into it. He looked up seeing Kassidy by the corner.

"I thought I'd cook us some lunch, before we catch up," he said lightly. He smiled brightly at her, it had been a couple weeks since he'd been around, which is why he was so annoyed at how messy the house was. He waved her over, 'come on try some," he said enthusiastically.

Kass smiled warmly at Stanley as she walked into the kitchen. Walking up to the pot that was simmering with the pasta sauce, Kass stuck a spoon in it and took a taste. Her eyes lit up. "This is delicious!" With that, Kassidy took another taste of the sauce. Stanley was always such a good cook. Meals were always great with him. Plus, Stanley was one of the ones who could take care of her the best when she was having a bad day.

"Its been a while since we last talked." Kassidy said gently as she set the spoon down in front of her. Despite all of her note taking, she wasn't able to figure out who came out when. There seemed to be little rhyme or reason for it most of the time.

Stanley grinned he was glad she liked it. He continued to slowly work away, making sure to clean up as he went. He added some more ingredients to the sauce, and began to strain the pasta.

"It has, I can't wait to hear what you've been up too," he said. He was reasonably well adjusted and understood there were other personalities, although he didn't know the extent of it. "Also I'd love a run down on how the others have been, I hope they've treated you well," he said.

He turned back to the cooking, "But we can cover that after lunch, go back to whatever you were doing, I'll come get you when it's ready," he said.

"Oh, everyone always treats me very well. There is no need to worry." After a quick glance around the kitchen, Kassidy figured that she had time to finish up her journal entry. It did always take Stanley a bit of time to finish cooking, especially since he tended to clean up everything before they even ate. Besides, she did not have much left to write down.

"Just call for me when lunch is ready." With that, Kass headed back into the office, closing the door behind her. She took the journal out of the drawer and started to write away.

Stanley continued working for another ten minutes. He had their lunch dished up ready on the table; the other dishes already washed. He wonder his way to the office, and gently knocked on the door.

'Lunch is ready, Kass" he said through the door. He headed back to the dining room and poured himself a drink of water.

Kassidy slid her diary back into the drawer and locked it up. Back where it was safe and sound, and now Kass had nothing to worry about.

Getting up, Kassidy headed out to the dining room and sat down next to Stanley. "Thank you very much for the food. It smells absolutely delicious!" She told him before plating some pasta and sauce for herself. "And I am so hungry!" With that, Kassidy started to dig in.

Stanley grinned watching her as she came in, after she was done dishing hers up, he moved onto his own. He chuckled, "Thank you, I felt like you might have needed a break from looking after us," he said lightly. He slowly started to eat himself.

"So tell me Kass, what have you been doing, since last time we spoke?" he asked lightly.

Kassidy tilted her head a bit to the side as she thought through what she had been doing the last few weeks. It really had been quite a while since she last saw Stanley.

"Well, work has been going well as usual. Though there is nothing to really talk about. Everyone has been so busy that there is no office drama." Kass let out a little hum before a bright smile moved over her lips. "I have been able to spend a lot of time with Arthur though. We've been going all over the city now that it's finally warm. Just last weekend, we headed out to one of the sping carnival. Oh it was fantastic!"
