“Well I guess that’s how you define dates. Are you taking me specifically somewhere to have sex with me or parade me off to your friends?” Layla asked with an eyebrow raised.

Ryker smiled. “Exactly, you even had me watching movies and just hanging out with your dad, what does that make me anymore?”

Drew looked at her, "I mean I wasn't planning on it. Why do you expect me to do that?" He asked her.

Nova smiled, "Hmmm..perhaps a normal person." She teased him. "You're right this is not good for you." She said, laughing a little. Nova let him hold her hands as she looked up at him.

She shrugged. “It’s just what I’m used to,” She explained. “I don’t expect anything of you really. I mean most of it’s a show to get me to sleep with them, you taking me out just because is new to me.”

Ryker nodded. “Normals not good for me, but somehow I’m still here. Wonder how that is?” He asked her curiously, smiling a little.

Drew chuckled, "Well I just want to take you out." He told her. He knew that she had gotten use to a pattern where guys just wanted to take advantage of her.

Nova smiled, "Well, I am pretty amazing. That could be why." She said, laughing softly.

Layla smiled a little. “Well of this is going to work, we’re going to have to fix you up. I can’t be dating someone so goody,” She pointed out, teasing gently. “Maybe I should enter you in a street race.”

Ryker grinned. “I think you’ve drugged me somehow,” He teases her and shrugged.

Drew looked at her, "I don't know about that. I can't get into any trouble." He said. He'd lose everything including his scholarship. He hoped she would understand.

Nova looked at him, "Aren't you suppose to be the one with all the drugs?" She teased him. She smiled at his reaction. Once they were done swimming she got out of the water with him and got dressed. She looked at him as he looked at his phone.

“Would it be so bad to get in trouble for once?” She asked him curiously. “I mean, I don’t want you to get caught, but doesn’t it get boring?”

Ryker shrugged. “Only occasionally. I’ve been clean for a bit now, until you gave me whatever you’re using to keep me here.” He said as he checked his phone. “Do you want to go to a party? Nick invited me.”

Drew looked at her, "I would lose all my scholarships if I got into trouble." He explained. "I don't find my life boring." He said.

Nova looked at him when he mentioned going to a party. She nodded, "Sure." She said. When he was ready she walked to his car with him and got in the car.

Layla shrugged. “I guess I understand that, but I don’t want to stop. I like going out. Even if I stopped messing around with other guys which I will, I still like parties and races and clubs.”

Ryker shook out his hair and looked for a hat in his backseat. “Maybe we can stop at your place, change and keep going?” He suggested, thinking he could borrow clothes from Nick.

Drew looked at her, "Yiu don't have to stop doing those things because you are with me. I trust you to go to parties and stuff." He said. He wasn't going to keep her from doing stuff like that.

Nova nodded, "Yea that is fine." She said. Once they got to her house she was glad to see her parents werent home. She went up to her room and got dressed. She walked to his car and got in, "Okay we can go now." She said, smiling a little.

Layla shrugged. “I would miss it, I know it’s not your normal but it’s mine. If you don’t want to go with me then I guess that’s fine as long as I don’t have to stop.”

Ryker turned the air up, doing what he could to dry his hair. “Yeah we can head straight there. I’ll change there with what Nicks bringing me.” He told her as he headed to the address of the party.

Drew shrugged, "I don't mind going to a party every once in awhile." He said, shrugging. He put his arm around her, "I don't want you to feel like you need to change though." He said as he kissed her cheek.

Nova nodded, "Okay." She said. Once they got to the party she walked inside with him, his friend Nick found them quickly, handing him his clothes. "Dude, I do I even want to know?" Nick asked, laughing. Nova smiled as she looked at Ryker.

Ryker took the clothes and turned to Nova. “I’ll be back,” He told her, changing and dropping the clothes off in his car. He went back and went to get something to drink before going back to Nova and Nick.

Layla leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed. “We can watch a movie in my room if you want,” She offered, leaning against him.

Nova smiled as Ryker came back, "Feel better?" She asked him. She normally wasn't a fan of the big parties, but she wanted to spend time with Ryker. As the night went on she watched as Ryker and his friends continued to drink. She looked over, seeing Ryan staring at her from across the room.

Drew nodded, "That sounds good." He said. He walked with her to her bedroom then got ready for bed. He laid down with her, watching as she found something for them to watch.

She sat on her bed and laid down against him when he got in her bed. She put on a random action movie and pulled up the blanket. “How many relationships have you been in? Or have you always been into just no commitment stuff like before with me?”

Ryker nodded and took a drink from his beer.

“Hey Nova,” Ryan said, coming over and grinning. “How’ve you been? Good? Haven’t heard from you since before,” He said, noting Ryker but otherwise ignoring him. “We should catch up.”

Drew looked at her, "I had one serious relationship, but other than that they were just flings." He said, shrugging. He always tried to put his all into relationships though.

Nova frowned when Ryan approached them, "No, we really shouldn't." She said, staying near Ryker. She didn't like Ryan and he made her uncomfortable.

Ryker stared at the two of them, wondering if there was something he wasn’t getting.

“No? We had fun didn’t we?” Ryan said, moving closer to her and smiling. “That night was a lot of fun.”

Ryker shook his head as he tried to ignore it until he heard what Ryan said. He could guess that something happened he didn’t know about but it pissed him off. “I’ll let the two of you talk,” He muttered going to his car.

Layla nodded. “Why did the relationship end?” She asked curiously. “Sorry if I’m being nosy I’m just curious that if you’ve had more flings, why date me instead of just keeping it how it was and be a fling?”

Nova frowned, "No, Ryker wait." She said. She glared at Ryan then walked after Ryker. She walked outside, catching up to him. "Ryker wait!" She called, grabbing his hand. She looked at him, "It's not like that." She said.

Drew sighed, "She cheated on me." He said. He shrugged, "I like having someone to share things worth." He said.

Layla nodded. She supposed that it made sense to trust him because he had gone through a similar situation like her, but she still wasn’t sure. “Yeah I get it. Well, we’re going to see how this goes. If it makes you feel any better, I don’t like cheating.”

Ryker raised his eyebrow. “For what? You don’t want to hang out with him?” He asked her, pulling his hand out her reach. “What isn’t it like? You didn’t book up with him?”

Drew smiled, "Yea I am glad to hear that." He said as he kissed her cheek. He was willing to take his time with her. He knew that rushing into things was never a good idea. "I honestly didn't even think you would agree to this." He told her.

Nova shook her head, "No I didn't hook up with him. He's lying." She said. She frowned when Ryker didn't believe her. "Fine, You want to know what happened?" She asked. She looked around them, making sure no one was around. "Get in the car." She said, pointing at his car. Nova got in and looked at him once he joined her. She sighed, not wanting to tell him. "Look a year ago I use to come to these parties and drink a lot." She explained. Nova bit her bottom lip lightly, "My friend and I use to hang put with Ryan and his assholes." She said, looking at her hands. She didn't want to look him in the face when she told him. "I got blackout drunk one night and Ryan tried to..." She sighed, "He tried to rape me okay, but my friend caught him and then he made up this huge lie and told everyone I slept with him and that I was a whore." She said, wiping the tears from her face, still avoiding his glance. "I told my mom but she told me it was my fault for getting drunk." She whispered.
