Mina nodded, "Yea I am. Do you want to go eat?" She asked as they walked. Mina smiled as she felt him hold her close. She watched as their car pulled up then watched Jace out the bags in. She got into the car with him, "Where do you want to go ear?" She asked.

Niko nodded then walked with her to the car. He put his bag in there and waited for her before he headed towards the cabin. He smiled as they headed out of town.

Jace smiled "I mean, we don't exactly have very many choices in here" he said with a laugh, motioning at the airport "So mcDonalds or KFC?" He asked, carrying the bags inside.

Kirby sat in to the Passenger seat, resting her head against the door, she blinked, and all of a sudden they we're at the cabin. She wiped a little drool off her lip and looked at Niko "I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to fall asleep" she said gently.

Mina smiled, "Anything is fine." She said. When they decided on mcdonalds she sat with him and ate. She walked out with him and headed to the car that was picking them up. When they got to her house she looked at Jace "I guess I will talk to you later." She ssid as she kissed him.

Niko shook his head, "Its okay." He said as he got out and grabbed their bags. He walked inside with her and set their stuff down in the bedroom. "Its been forever since we have been here." He said.

Jace kissed her goodbye as he dropped her at her house before heading off to his apartment. It was one of the few places Jace was proud of, it was a penthouse with a pool and had been the first thing he spent his money on, but it was solely his, both personally and design wise.

Kirby looked around smiling, the place smelled a little mosty, but being back there brought so many memories back to her. "Remember wehn we were 16 and your parents brought us up here... You had tried to organise this huge romantic thing thinking it would be our first time sleeping together, but your mom found your condoms and then like insisted that your little cousin sleep in the room with us all weekend" she said with a laugh.

The next day Mina spent most of the morning, helping plan her party. She always loved new years eve. She thought about Jace and called him. "Hey." She said as he answered. "Do you want to go get some lunch?" She asked him. She smiled at the sound of his voice. She hadnt liked someone so much in a long time and she really didnt want to mess things up with him.

Niko laughed, "God dont remind me." He said as he turned the lights on. "That was the worst thing that could have happened." He said. He frowned as his phone went off and answered it. "Hold on." He said to Kirby. He walked to the kitchen, arguing with his manager for a moment before he returned to her. He sighed as he hung up, looking at Kirby. "I have to make a fucking appearance at Mina's party on new years." He said, shaking his head. "This is fucking bullshit." He said.

Jace was playing around with his new guitar when he heard his phone go off, he answered, smiling as he saw it was Mina "Hey hot stuff" he teased, listening as she spoke. "Yeah that sounds good, where and what time?" He asked kindly. He was excited at the thought of seeing her.

"I think what made that even funnier was that, I didn't even realise what you had been planning and was super confused as to why your cousin wouldn't leave us alone" she said with a giggle, beginning to unpack the bags as he answered the phone. "Just tell them no" Kirby said, straightening up to look at him. "fuck that bitch you are not going to her party" Kirby said walking closer to him.

Mina smiled when he agreed to meet her, "There Is this japanese ramen restuarant not far from your place if you want to meet me there around 12:30." She said. She told him what the name was and where it was. "I will see you then." She said before she hung up. Mina got dressed then headed to the place near his house. She smiled when she found him outside waiting for her. She hugged him, feeling his arms go around her. "I hope you werent waiting too long." She said as she kissed him. She took his hand then walked inside and got a table before she sat with him.

Niko sighed, "Kirby I tried to tell them no. I have to go for the publicity." He said. "Look I can just show up and leave." He explained. "Do you want to come with me so I dont have to deal with it alone?" He asked. He knew she probably wouldnt because she was pissed. "I'm sorry." He said.

Jace smiled as he saw Mina round the corner, pulling her in to a tight hug. "No just a couple of minute, don't sweat it" he told her, looking over her body. He followed her inside, sitting down keeping her hand in his. "So how's the party planning going?" He asked her sweetly.

Kirby sighed softly "if we're going to go, we're dressing the fuck up... See how Mina likes the attention being taken off of her for once" Kirby said, crossing her arms over her chest. She sat down on the sofa in the cabin, glancing around.

Mina looked at him, "It's almost done. Luckily I don't have much to do since I have people for that. Well, besides telling them what to do." she teased him. She was glad that she was able to get out of the house for a bit. Her social media had been blowing up lately since the who Christmas incident and she just decided to ignore it and not really comment on it. She looked over the menu, "What are you going to get?" She asked him.

Niko sighed, "I mean if you really want to babe. I kind of just wanted to show my face and leave, but if you want to do that we can. I don't think it will really matter though." he said to her.

Jace looked over the menu "what's good, I've never had Japanese Ramen before I don't think" he told her honestly. He had been completely disengaged from everything so he hadn't seen anything that had been going on online since Christmas day, he had just been focusing on trying to get things ready for the new album.

Kirby sighed, knowing he was right. "I know.. sometimes I just like to think it would" she said softly, shaking her head. "we came here to get away from that... How about we just switch off our phones and enjoy one another's company?" She suggested, although already feeling like something was missing when she let go of the phone from her hand.

Mina smiled when he asked what was good, "I'll order you just eat." She teased him. She knew that everything was good. When the waiter walked up to them she ordered them both the pork ramen then ordered some sushi as well. She looked at him, "So what have you been up to?" She asked. She knew he said he was going to be working on his album when they got home.

Niko nodded and set his phone down. "I know. I'm sorry. I didn't think that was what my manager wanted." He said as he sat down beside of her and put his arm around her. He didn't like to upset her and he just wanted to relax and have a good time.

Jace chuckled and let her pick for him, he knew he wasn't picky so was sure he would enjoy it no matter what. "I've really just been going over some stuff for the band, balancing put the sounds and what not... It's just my own work really, not even necessary" he said with a laugh. "What about you?"

Kirby nodded softly "I know sweetheart, it's okay" she told him kissing his cheek. "So what do you want to do? Hot tub, go for a walk or just chill out?" She asked softly.

Mina smiled, "Sounds fun." She said, "I have really just been organizing this party and working on this song." She said shrugging. She really was thinking about changing things up.

Niko smiled "Yea let's go for a walk then get in the hot tub." He said as he kissed her softly. He got up and grabbed his jacket.

Jace raised an eyebrow at her "what song? What kind of vibe are you going for?" He asked her. "Aww is it a love song?" He teased, wiggling his brows at her mockingly.

Kirby smiled and pulled on her jacket and boots, slipping her hand in to his as they headiled outside toward the path in the woods. "Do you really want me to go to this party with you?" She asked softly.

Mina laughed a little, "There are two songs actually and it's a surprise so you will have to wait like everyone else. This way I dont get any surprises." She said, not wanting to relive Christmas.

Niko nodded, "Yea I would like you to. I just..dont want to deal with this alone. If you really dont want to then you dont have to." He said.

Jace rolled his eyes at her "you mean, you don't trust me?" He teased, letting his hand rest on her knee under the table. He smiled at her, she was jsut so beautiful.

Kirby sighed softly "I'll do it for you..bur I'm leaving if neither of them says a word out of line to us, okay?" See told him softy, looking down at her feet to make sure she wouldn't slip in the snow. "God being up here just brings back so many memories... I used to love when your parents would let me come up here with you guys" she told him with a smile.

Mina smiled, "No I trust you but I just want this all to be a surprise for everyone. It's not like anything I have done before." She explained.

Niko smiled, "Yea we should get a vacation home up here." He said as he pulled her close as they walked.

Jace chuckled, smiling at the waitress as she placed their food in front of them. "Well if you wish to surprise me, surprise me you shall. I'm sure it will be amazing Mina, you have talent to burn" he told her, gently stirring his ramen.

Kirby nodded happily "yeah that would be really nice, we can bring the kids to our home place... You know when we have them I mean. But it's somewhere we can reconnect with everything too" she told him warmly. She iled as he pulled her in close, wrapping her arms around him. "I can't believe we are actually engaged" she whispered.

Mina smiled, "It will be pretty great. At least I think so." She said as she began to eat her food. She had always loved the restuarant they were at.

Niko chuckled, "One thing at a time babe. Let's just worried about being married." He said as he kissed her cheek.

Jace smiled, he was glad she seemed so happy about her new music. He ate some of the food that was placed before him, noddj g as he tasted it. "This is really good, you didn't lie" he teased.

Kirby looked down at the ground a little em arrassed. "I'm sorry I get a little ahead of myself sometimes.. I just, I've always pictured our future" she told him softly.
