Niko looked at her, "I just figured you could handle one day away. Its okay though. I was just trying to spend more time with you." He said. He sighed as he leaned back against his chair.

Mina laughed softly, "I guess we will see." She said, shrugging. "I imagine you will just have to be very sneaky about it." She said. she looked over as the waitress came over and she ordered a veggie omelette and orange juice. She looked at Jace, watching as he ordered.

Kirby closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Nik please don't guilt me, I ready feel bad.. But I need to try and get GRX a little more off the ground" she said, nibbling on her finger nail as she watched him across the table. She pulled her hand back as he hadn't taken it, feelings lump forming at the back of her throat. She couldn't let herself get upset.

Jace ordered a sausage sandwich and coffee l, winking at the waitress as she took his order, smirking as he could see her cringing in to herself getting his attention. When he looked back at Mina, he ld see her disapproval. "sorry sorry, eyes onyou" he teased holding his hands up.

Niko sighed, "Babe, one day away from them, isnt going to hurt. It would be fun." He said. He just wanted to see her. "If you cant then you can't but dont say i didnt ask." He said.

Mina looked at him, "You are really bad that this being with one person think. Have you been in a serious relationship before?" She asked him. She took his hands, "Though when we are in public you should try to make it look convincing." She said, feeling people looking at them.

Kirby sighed "Look Niko, I'll see how our rehearsal goes tonight and I'll decide then okay? I need to see what kind of state we're in" she said, crossing her arms over her chest as her food was placed before her. She softened her face a little as she realised people were still watxhing them.

Jace shook his head "no I've always just gone from girl to girl, I've never really been a commitment kind of guy, I'm still not.. So here we are." he said with a small laugh and shrugged. "ill try harder, I promise" he said and gave her hand a squeeze, smiling as if she were the love of his life.

Niko shook his head, "No, its fine. We can just do it another time." He told her. He looked at his food, then began to eat. He knew that she was busy, "I probably wouldn't have time for you anyway. I am going to be busy." He said.

Mina smiled at him, "Okay." She said as she felt him squeeze her hand. She slowly pulled her hands away from his when their food came. She grabbed her fork and began to eat.

Kirby paused and looked up at him, her eyes filling with hurt. "oh.. Well okay, if that's how you feel" she said softly and spooned a little bit of her food in to her mouth, shrinking back in her seat.

Jace smiled as he looked down at his food, beginning to eat quickly. He began to chuckle to himself andv looked up at Mina. "this tastes really good you should try some" he teased and held some of his food out to her on his fork.

Niko looked at her, "Don't be like that. I just know that you are busy. I don't want you to feel pressured to go." He said. He ate his food and sighed. He hated that they were fighting so much.

Mina nodded, "The food is good here." She said. She tried his, "That is really good." She said, before she offered him some of hers. She did like to spend time with Jace. He seemed like a nice guy.

Kirby frowned "Be like what Niko? You beg me to come and then say you wouldnt have time for me just because I can't go. That's not fair Niko, don't play me like that" she said, placing her knife and fork down on to her plate, watching him. "I'm already taking time off to come see you, what more do you want from me Nik?" she asked, her voice low to not alert anyone around them.

Jace took the food from Minas fork nodding "that is really good" he said with a smile, chuckling softly as he could feel people watching them, eyes wide as they took in how 'cute' he and Mina were. "so did you always want to be a singer?" he asked her, a genuine interest in his voice. She was a nice girl, he was glad they cód get along.

Niko frowned at her words, "What I want, is to enjoy my breakfast." He said, stubbornly. "I am not in the mood to fight with you right now." He said. He looked at her, "Go have fun with your little band." He said before he went back to eating.

Mina took a sip of her drink, "I mean I started out just dancing when I was younger, but then I realized I would rather be singing so that is kind of how it all ended up happening." She said, shrugging. "What about you?" She asked him.

Kirby stared at him for minute before standing up and grabbing her bag. "I don't get why you're being such an ass Niko, I'm trying my hardest to keep up with you. I'll see you later" she said, shaking her head softly and walking out of the restaurant, ordering a cab on her phone as she went.

Jace smiled "so your a dancer too? Nice.." he commented, teasing her with a wink before taking another sip of his coffee. He leaned back in his chair and shrugged "I mean, I always sang, and I played a little guitar. I wasn't good in school, I had no plan and I guess I just auditioned for this band to see if something would come of it and we'll, here I am. I guess I just got really lucky" he said.

Niko frowned as she stormed off, then looked at his food. He paid their bill, then got up and left the table. He walked out, frowning when he seen her, "Are you done?" He asked. He frowned as she went to get in the cab and slammed the door shut so she couldn't get in. "Stop." He said, moving in front of her body.

Mina rolled her eyes playfully at his comment. "Oh i am sure it was more than just luck." She told.him. When they finished eating, she sat with him and walked for a bit before they paid and decided to leave. Mina walked out with him, taking his hand as they walked.

Kirby closed her eyes and took a deep breath before turning to him once again, waving an apology at the cab driver and motioning for him to wait. "what do you mean am I done Niko? I just.. I can't keep hearing the same things. Your belittling my career, one that I've worked really hard onto try and build and I can't just tKe a couple days off because you don't think we're any good" she said, her voice tired from arguing.

Jace chuckled and took her hand, swinging it slightly as they walked down along the pier. "you want an ice cream?" he offered as they passed a little shop that had a ton of flavours. "or we could share one, that would make for some great photo opportunities" he teased raising an eyebrow.

Niko frowned, "I meant are you done arguing, but I guess not." He said as he opened the cab door. "I wil just...." He paused, "I'll see you later." He said before he walked off to his car. He frowned as he got in, starting it. He pulled out of the parking lot and head back to his apartment to get his stuff together. He frowned as he kept thinking about Kirby. Niko got out and went to his apartment, gathering his things.

Mina looked at him, "We can share, but only if you don't pick a gross flavor." She teased him. She walked inside with him, once again feeling people staring. Though she was kind of use to it anymore. She watched as he looked over the flavors, "What do you want to get?" She asked him, feeling his body close to hers.

Kirby got in to the cab, tears rolling down her cheeks as she typed message after message to Niko, not sending any of them. She sighed upon reach g the studio and went inside to start practicing. She was already in a bad mood but her frustration grew and grew as the girls all continued to mess up vocals and moves. She questioned if maybe Mina had been right but pushed it to the back of her mind, they were all just nervous about Thursday. By the time she was finished, Kirby was tired and really hoped her and Niko could keep it together for the rest of the evening.

would you be able to collect me from studio 54 or will I call a cab? X she sent him.

Jace rolled his eyes and walked inside, keeping a firm grip on her hand. He looked over all the flavours picking his lips. "how about some Mint Chocolate Chip?" he suggested, pointing at the green tube. It had always been his favourite since he was really young. She could smell her shampoo as the breeze blew past them, it was clear she took care of herself. After getting their ice cream he continued to walk along the pier with her, he already had his things packed for tonight and was in no rush. "so be honest, do you write your own stuff or is it written for you?" he asked.

Niko looked at his phone and texted her, I will come get you. He knew that they needed to not fight for the rest of the night. He got in his car and drove to where she was, waiting for her to get in. He looked at her, "Hey." He said, kissing her. He placed his hand on her cheek as he deepened the kiss.

Mina nodded, "That sounds good." She said. She waited for him to get the ice cream then walked with him down the pier. "I mean some of it is written by other people, but I also write my own stuff. A lot of the time if the record label doesn't feel like my stuff fits they won't put it on the album though." She said, shrugging. "It kind of sucks." She said before she took the spoon from him and ate some of their ice cream.

Kirby kissed him back, slightly surprised by the immense affection, she had thought he might still be annoyed about earlier. "hey babe, you all set?" she asked him, resting her hand on his knee as he drove, wiping sine sweat off her forehead with the back of her hand.

Jace nodded gently "Yeah that would suck.. It's one of the things I love about the band, we all write, so almost everything ó our albums has Ben written by at least one of us" he said nodding, and opened his mouth for her to spoon some in, laughing. When they got to the end, he sat down by the railing letting his legs dangle off the edge, he patted the grou D next to him for her to sit down.

Niko nodded, "Yea i am." He said, motioning to the bag in the backseat. "I figured we would seing by your place since you are going to want to shower." He said. He was excited to finally hit the road.

Mina smiled, "That is great." She said as she gave him a bite of the ice cream. She sat next to him and looked at the water. Mina was surprised at how easy it was to be with Jace. She felt like she had known him forever. She handed him the ice cream, feeling full. She looked at him, "Do you have everything packed for tonight?" She asked.

Kirby laughed and nodded "I pretty sweating after all the danci g alright, I don't think I'm go ná be able to come though Nik.. We're in really bad shape" she said softly, nervously biting her lip as she waited for his response.

Jace nodded "Yeah I got it all done before the gig last night, I was afraid I'd be hungover today" he said with a laugh and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "your still coming right? It will look great for the press" he told her, giving her shoulder a squeeze

Niko looked at her, "Fine." He muttered. He gripped his steering wheel then parked outside of her apartment. He wasn't fighting about her coming anymore. He looked at her, "I'll call you later." He said. He leaned back against his seat and looked at her.

Mina nodded, "Yea but I have to leave the morning after the show. I have a bunch of stuff I have to get done." She said. She liked that she would be able to get away for a little bit though. She relaxed against him as she ran her fingers through her hair.

Kirby played with the hem of her top nervously. She wanted to ask him why he he wouldn't stay with her for a little bit, she wanted to ask why he wouldn't let her come say goodbye. She knew he didn't have to leave for another hour but she didn't want to fight before he left. "oh.. Okay. Have a great time Niko." she said and gathered her bag and things in ró her lap before leaning across and kissing his cheek. "I love you"

Jace nodded "Yeah no problem, ó can have you flown back anyway, I think Niko mentioned something about Kirby but I can't imagine she has the time to come" he said with a shrug, holding her up against him as the sun crossed the sky.
