Didge pulled up at Riverdale High, she had recently go her licence and decided she would drive to work today instead of walking. Plus it looked cloudy as if it was about to burst down with rain. As she grabbed her school bag she wondered if Archie was already at school. Archie was the only person she really knew due to the two of them being cousins, she knew Betty Cooper to an extent she was sure the two had met when she was younger but she wasn't sure if the blonde would remember her. The same with Jughead Jones she knew of him but she wasn't sure if she had met him before.

She was startled to the sound of knocking on her car window. Spinning her head around her heart pounding in her chest a smile broke across her face when she saw Archie leaning over and waving at her a wide smile on his face.

"Archie!" she jumped out of her car and wrapped her arms around the male. It had been a good three years since she had seen her cousin. It was so good to see him again. "Did your dad tell you?"

"Yeah he did, he also said we are invited over to your house for dinner." Didge nodded her head. She was the one who suggested they invite Fred and Archie over for dinner, as it had been so long.

"Archiekins?" Didge turned her head and saw a dark haired siren walking toward the two of them, she had a smile on her face but there was something else in her eyes. Distrust?

"Ronnie," he walked over and kissed the female, "Veronica this is my cousin Didge." the look in the females eyes vanished and her smile widened further. before holding out her hand.

    "Nice to meet you Didge."

"You too Veronica," she nodded her head shaking the female's hands before looking at Archie. "I see you missed telling me that you have a girlfriend now Archie," the male flushed and looked down at his shoes.

    "Well uhhhh...." he stammered.

"It's alright Archie i will let it slide this once," she laughed just as the bell rang. "Well I guess we had better get to class... and you can introduce me to all your other friends."
Jughead had just arrived at Southside High he shouldered his school bag and walked toward the entrance when Toni Topaz walked up beside him.

"Morning," she greeted in a bright tone. Her black leather serpent jacket was draped across her shoulders her hair fell down her back in curls.

"Morning," he greeted his blue eyes were scanning the premise as he looked for the other serpents; the closer he got to the door the more he saw. At the front door stood Sweet Pea with a stern look on his face. He nodded his head at the male not saying a word before entering the building. He had a new story for the Red and Black. That and he was wondering what else he had to do for his initiation.

(I wasn't quite sure what else to write for Jughead's side sorry... I hope this is okay)

Fangs leaned back into the doorway outside of Southside high with his arms crossed over his chest. He just watched as students filed in for another shitty day at their shitty school. Honestly, the only thing that made this place worth being near was The Serpents. And he knew they were all together after school at the Whyte Wyrm everyday after school so some wondered why they even had to be there to begin with, but Fangs liked school. Well he liked to learn and just wished someone cared enough about his education to give him a good one. While he of course would be a serpent until the day he died that didn’t mean he didn’t wish for a better life. He wished that people understood The Serpents were people too. They also had hobbies outside of being in a gang, and there were things they enjoyed that didn’t always cause trouble. But they just had a bad rep because of where they’d been born.

“Are you day dreaming again fangs?” He heard Sweetpea ask him pulling Fangs from his this thoughts of one day having a better life.

Fangs sighed. “Let’s just get inside,” he said not wanting to talk right now about what was going through his mind. It never really led to good conversations. And he felt it’d be worse now that Jughead was there given not all of the Serpents were totally on board with him yet. And the second Fangs said something he knew Sweets would likely accuse him of something ridiculous.
Betty ran her fingers through her hair as she tried to figure out what to do. She needed Jughead. She loved Jughead. She hated that he’d been moved to the Southside. Betty just missed him, and she knew it hadn’t been that long since he’d moved to the new school. It just wasn’t the same not seeing him everyday at school.

I miss you, gah! I wish you could just come back to Riverdale with me! Hope you have a good day! I love you <3

Betty was well aware that Jughead had joined the Serpents and at first she’d been a little apprehensive about it all. After all, her boyfriend had joined a gang and that wasn’t something she’d been expecting. But the more she thought about it the more Betty had come to realize she loved Jughead for who he was, and he wasn’t a different person. He was still the same person as before the Serpents. Now he just had more people in his life who’d be there for him. And with everything Jug had been through Betty knew he needed more people in his life he could trust.

[ you’re fine. I wasn’t really sure what to do with Fangs. So hope it was good lol. ]

Jughead's phone dinged in his pocket, fishing it out he unlocked his screen to see the message from his girlfriend Betty Cooper. A smile spread across his face at how adorable she was. He wanted so much to go back to Riverdale High and be with her but he couldn't, the truth was he didn't feel like he belonged there anymore. His gang was here, the people who were his family were here. Sure most of the time he butted heads with Sweetpea but other than that he had Toni and a few others Fangs Fogerty who he could talk to.

I miss you too, have a good day Betty Cooper I love you. Wanna go to Pop's after school?

He hit send before shouldering his bag and walking into his first class as the bell rang. His first lesson he attended with Toni so he knew it was going to go quickly. That and it was English with his favourite teacher Mr Phillips.
Didge had settled into her first class nicely, she had been introduced once again to Betty, Josie and Reggie. They all seemed nice but she didn't get to ask where Jughead was before the bell had rang and she had to get to class. Unfortunately she was in a different class to everyone she had met earlier so she now sat at the back of the class and decided to keep to herself. Archie had told her to meet him at her locker and they could all sit together for break. So all she had to do was make it through the first few classes and then she wouldn't be by herself. She wondered if she had anyone in her next class, she hoped she did so she wouldn't be so lonely.

"Oh new girl," Didge turned her head and looked at the fiery haired female who was walking into the room. She was a bombshell there was no denying it. Luscious long red hair, legs for days and a killer smile. "Hi I'm Cheryl Blossom AKA Cheryl Bombshell."

    "Uhhh... Hi I'm Didge Andrews."

"Andrews... are you related to Archie Andrews."

"Yeah, cousins. We don't look related," she smiled, it was true they looked nothing alike. Cheryl pursed her lips before making a humming sound before she snagged the seat next to Didge. The blonde was confused so she took her books out of her bag and lifted her eyes to the front of the class.

There’s no place I’d rather be. And no one I’d rather be with.

Betty sighed as she replied to Jughead as she walked into school and towards her first class. Honestly she felt a little bad for not quiet engaging with Didge as she could’ve but the blonde had a lot on her mind right now. And she’d have all day to make up for it. It was nice to see her again though. Betty remembered her from when she’d come to visit three years ago, though it was actually hard for Betty to forget people. Most people had a hard time remembering people or names and that had never been an issue for Betty.

“How are you holding up B really,” Betty heard Veronica ask as her best friend took a seat next to her in class.

Betty smiled at her friend wishing she could lie right now and say she was fine, but even if she tried Betty knew that Veronica would see right through her. “I’ll be okay. I know it’ll be easier eventually I’m just worried about Jug. I mean he’s at a new school on the southside and what if something bad happens?” She said pushing her fingers through her hair since she’d worn it down today.

“B Jughead will be fine. I mean I can only imagine how hard it is right now but you’re right it will be easier eventually. And you two are soulmates so I know that you’ll figure it all out.”

“Thanks V,” she said hoping that they would indeed figure everything out. She also hoped that he’d be willing to help her figure out this whole Black Hood thing. After all, Betty wanted to get to the bottom of this mystery and who better to help her than her partner in crime Jughead?
“So Jones you miss your old school over on the Northside yet?” Sweetpea asked trying to get a rise out of Jughead. Which caused Fangs to roll his eyes. He really didn’t understand why Sweetpea was like this. He didn’t get why he had to give Jughead a hard time as if Jughead were some total outsider trying to join the group. Fangs knew it wasn’t Jugheads fault that his dad had sent him to Riverdale rather than the southside which ultimately meant Jughead had grown up different and just had a different view of the world than the rest of them did.

“Sweets leave him alone. He’s just trying to fit in here like all of the rest of us, and it isn’t his fault that he was on the Northside all this time,” Fangs said not wanting to cause tension between the ranks but he would if it meant he didn’t have to listen to this crap all day.

Sweetly rolled his eyes. “Didn’t realize you two were so close,” he said leaning back in his seat. “Whatever, I just don’t think Jones has it in him to be a real Serpent. I mean his pops may be one but that doesn’t mean this Jones is cut out for it,”

Didge's classes were finished for lunch and she couldn't wait to eat, honestly she was starving she had only managed to eat an apple this morning because her stomach was filled with butterflies. So far she had been in a class with Cheryl which had been strange, and she had been in one with Archie, Veronica and Betty. Which was nice, she had chosen to sit across from Betty as Veronica across from Archie and there was a spare seat. The two blondes had barely spoken.

As she was walking toward the cafeteria she bumped into Betty.

"Hey Betty," she greeted a smile spreading across her face, she sensed something was up with the blonde but didn't think it her place to say anything. Being new and not close friends with her.
Jughead rolled his eyes at Sweetpea's question. He knew the male was only stirring him up trying to get a reaction out of him. He didn't have a chance to reply before Fangs had spoken up. The look he received from Sweetpea was one that could cut.

"You have no idea!" Jughead snarled back, he had it in him to be a serpent it was in his blood and he knew he was going to show it to these non believers that even though he is from the Northside he had exactly what it took to be a Serpent.

Betty smiled across the table at Didge. "Hey Didge, how's the first day going?" she asked feeling kind of awful that she'd been so out of it this morning and kind of blown her off the way she had. "And I'm really sorry if I blew you off this morning or seemed totally rude and uninterested. It's just kind of been a weird week so far and I'm trying to figure some things out," she added wanting the girl to know that Betty's intentions were not to be rude. Honestly, Betty loved new friends, and she remembered Didge from the last time she'd come to visit pretty well. Those visits had always been short and sweet, but this one was be going to be a long one and that was exciting. Betty really couldn't wait to go on new adventures with Didge.
Fangs sighed as Sweetpea walked away into the school. Honestly, Fangs loved being a serpent. This crew was his family, he'd be lost without them. Really he didn't want to think about how different his life might be if he'd passed on the Serpents and went with the Ghoulies, or even moved with his dad when his parents had split. He liked his life just the way it was. And he loved the family he had with the serpents. Sometimes though some people took things to serious. Fangs liked what Jughead had said so far. The dude clearly had ideas and Fangs liked that. He got that Jughead was still seeing some Northside girl, he still had all these ties to the Northside but Fangs felt like Jughead could still be committed to the serpents. The only real way to figure it all out was by giving it time though.

(I'm not quite sure what to do with Jughead at the moment)
Didge looked at Betty, she will admit the girl had looked lost in her thoughts today, and Didge wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing.

"Betty is there anything I can help with?" The blonde asked. Didge had always seen herself as a caring person willing to do anything for another so when Betty said she had things to figure out she was more than willing to help her if she needed it. It may even be a way for her to build a stronger relationship with the girl.

(this is short I am so sorry... I hope it is okay)

Betty tucked her hair behind her ear and bit her lip. "You can keep me distracted," she said sighing. "Honestly, there's so much going on right now that my mind is literally running a million miles a minute so taking a break from it all would be nice," she said knowing that sooner or later she'd have to deal with everything from her mom and dad fighting, Jughead going to a different school, him joining the serpents, to The Black Hood attacks. And she didn't want to deal with any of them really. What Betty wanted was for everything to feel normal again. Though, she had a feeling that wasn't ever going to happen. So maybe she should just welcome herself to her insane life.

"So tell me, what brought you guys in town for good? I know when we were younger you'd just come and visit for like a week or so at a time but clearly you're here for good since you're at school and all," Betty asked hoping that wasn't overstepping. She knew that sometimes her reporter side could just come out without her even realizing it. "If you don't mind me asking, of course, you totally don't have to tell me if it's like personal or something," she added feeling like she should clarify.

[ you're fine! And yea I say we just kind of RP the girls for a bit then we can skip to after school in a few posts if you'd like so we can incorporate the boys again XD Also sorry for the late reply! As you know I was out of the country for 10 days and while I got home a week ago Sunday I literally had to jump right back into work the day after I got home and life has literally just been chaos since I got home I've been trying to get back into the swing of RPing.
