Elkie put her cigarette out before opening the door to her and her friends hideout. She walked in, already hearing music and smelling food. She walked around the corner, seeing Namjoon, Yoongi and Hobi sitting at a table working on lyrics and music.

Jin was in the makeshift kitchen cooking, while Jimin, Tae and Jungkook were playing a game. She walked over to Tae, sneaking up behind him and covering his eyes. “Guess who.” She giggled.

Jia looked at herself in the mirror. She was going to be meeting Namjoon's friends for the first time and she wanted to make a good impression. Jia had to admit, she was nervous meeting them because from what Namjoon told her, his friends are pretty much his family, meaning that they are close knit and she didn't want them to think badly of her, although Namjoon keeps telling her that his friends will love her. She sighed and looked at herself again before heading her way over to meet up with Namjoon.

Taehyung chuckled, "Hmm who else in The hideout would have a girly voice and soft hands besides Elkie....is it...Namjoonie hyung" he teased before removing Elkie's hands and looked up to see the girl standing behind him.

Elkie giggled. “It’s me!” She said and hugged the taller boy. “I hear an Elkie giggle but I didn’t receive a hug.” Jin said smirking. Elkie smiled before going to hug him. “I smell kimchi soup. What’s the special occasion?” She asked.

“Namjoon has a friend coming by to meet everyone.” Jin said. Elkie looked over at Namjoon. “Is that so?” She asked. Namjoon nodded, “she should be on her way.” He said, checking his phone to see if Jia had texted or not.

"It's a girl Namjoonie hyung?" Jungkook asked his older friend. "Is she pretty and nice?"Jimin added. Taehyung smiled softly and looked at Elkie, before getting up from his sitting position and walked over to her.

Just drove for about 15 minutes before finding the warehouse that Namjoon told her to meet him at. I'm here. Are you sure your friends are going to like me. she texted Namjoon before getting out of her car. She took her time to get to the door, feeling more nervous within each step.

Elkie wasn’t that excited about Namjoon’s friend being a girl. She liked being the only girl in the group, and now with another one, she was worried the guys would forget about her. She looked up at Tae. “Yes?” She asked. She put on a fake smile for everyone, even though inside she was already annoyed.

“She is. She’s nervous about meeting everyone but I told her it would be okay.” Namjoon said as he got up, “she’s here. I’ll be right back.” He said and went out to meet Jia.

He smiled as he opened the door and saw her standing there. He stepped out and closed it, “nervous still?” He asked her, giving her a hug.

"You won't be forgotten. I promise." Taehyung whispered in her ear. He knew exactly what she was thinking. "I'm sure she's nice. Namjoon always invites nice people." He said to reassure his younger friend.

Jia looked up and hugged Namjoon back, "I am. What if they don't like me or want anyone else to intrude?" She said, biting her bottom lip nervously. Jia more than anything wanted everything to be fine, but when it comes to being introduced into a close knit family, it always ends up her being rejected later on.

Elkie sighed. “I guess.” She said. She looked over at Yoongi. “Is he still mad at me for the other night?” She asked Tae. A few nights ago, Elkie was cleaning out the warehouse and accidentally threw away some lyrics Yoongi was working on. She had apologized but he still got upset with her.

Namjoon looked at her, “they’ll love you. I will warn you, our youngest friend Elkie, she might take a while to get used to you...so if she says anything that upsets you, don’t take personal. She’s used to being the only girl and she’s just a soft baby at heart, she doesn’t know better.” He said. Elkie was the only one he was worried about having a problem with Jia.

Tae looked over at Yoongi and sighed. "I don't know but maybe I'll talk to him later on tonight. But for now let's go meet Namjoon's friend. And be nice to her, Namjoon hyung deserves to be with a nice girl." He warned Elkie before grabbing her hand.

Jia nodded, "I hope so. I really want them to like me. You talk so highly of them and they seem like a good group of people" She said and then smiled softly when she felt Namjoon's hand grab hers gently. Jia then followed behind him into the warehouse.

Elkie scrunched her face up, Hobi and Jin always said she looked like a cute bulldog when she did that, and she lightly grasped Tae’s hand but not completely. They all knew she wasn’t a touchy person, she didn’t like to be touched, they just didn’t know why exactly.

Everyone gathered in the room as Namjoon came back in with Jia. Elkie frowned, she was pretty.

“Guys, this is Jia. This is Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and Elkie.” Namjoon introduced his friends.

“You were right Namjoon hyung, she is pretty.” Jungkook smiled, waving at Jia.

Jia blushed when she heard Jungkook's statement. She didn't know that Namjoon talked to his friends about her like that. "It's nice to finally meet you all, Namjoon talks about you guys all the time. He definitely loves his family and I can definitely see it now." Jia then looked at Elkie and smiled softly at the younger girl and approached her, "Hi Ellie, Namjoon told me that you are the only girl and have been for a while. I promise I'm not here to replace you, I just want to be everyone's friend. You think you can give me a chance? She asked, hoping the younger girl will give her a chance to get to know the girl.

Elkie looked at her, eyeing her up and down. She shrugged, “Okay.” She said before walking around her and going to get some food.

“That’s the most you’re going to get out of her right now. She’ll warm up to you.” Hobi told her with a smile.

Jin smiled, “if you’re hungry, I made some kimchi soup, it’s everyone’s favorite but I only make it on special occasions.” He gave Jia a warm smile.

Taehyung smiled softly at Jia before following behind Elkie. "See, she isnt bad. Don't you think you should try to welcome Jia unnie better? She can be like a big sister or a mom to us." He said to Elkie.

Jia smiled softly at the two boys. "I love kimchi soup. What's the special occasion?" She asked Jin, as she felt Namjoon stand next to her with his arm draped around her shoulder. "Namjoon always talks about how a great cook you are, so I'm excited to try you cooking." She smiled.

"Come follow us, we'll show you where to get a bowl." Jimin said as he and Jungkook grabbed Jia's hand and had her follow them into the kitchen. Jia laughed and smiled at Namjoon as she was being pulled by the two younger boys.

“I hope Elkie will adjust to her.” Namjoon sighed. Jin patted his arm. “She will,” He said and looked at Yoongi, “you should try to talk to her today...everyone can feel the tension between you two still,” Jin said to Yoongi.

Elkie had already gotten herself a bowl of soup and was sitting at the other table they used whenever they ate. She looked at Tae. “You guys are lucky I said okay.” She said as she ate her soup.

Jungkook got Jia a bowl of soup. “Here you go Jia unnie.” He smiled, before getting himself a bowl.

Yoongi huffed, "until you can find the lyrics and bring them back to me, I don't have anything to say to her." He said then went into the kitchen to get some soup.

"I know, but still. What's it gonna take for you to be friends with her?" Taehyung asked his friend before sitting down next to her.

Jia smiled at Jungkook and ruffled his hair slightly. "Thanks Kookie...Is it okay for me to call you that? I hear Namjoon call you that a lot when he talks to me about you" Jia asked, hoping he wouldn't mind. She was trying to get them all to like her.

“She said she was sorry Yoongi!” Jin called after him and sighed. “I really wish she would have looked at what she was throwing away before she did it.” He sighed. “I know but she apologized, it’s in Yoongi hyungs court now.” Namjoon sighed.

Elkie looked at Tae. “I don’t know.” She shrugged. She looked at Yoongi as he passed, “hi Yoongi oppa.” She said with a smile and then frowned when he straight up ignored her. She looked at her soup as she tried not to cry.

“Yes. You can call him Tae Tae and Jimin’s nickname is Chim Chim.” Jungkook smiled.

Jin sighed then looked at Namjoon, "You're right. Let's go eat so your friend don't think we're bad hosts." Jin said and made his way to the kitchen to fix himself a bowl of soup.

Yoongi stopped for a second, he hated being mean to Elkie, but she had really pissed him off this time. Those lyrics were important to him and the fact that they were gone he was upset. His friends didn't know how important the lyrics were, but if they did, they would ask him to explain the meaning behind it and he didn't want to do that. Yoongi sighed and faced Elkie and mumbled a hi before sitting heading out the door.

Jia smiled at hearing the boys' nicknames, "Okay I'll remember that." She said and then saw Namjoon and Jin walked over and sat at the table. Namjoon had Jimin switch seats with him so he could sit next to her. Of course Jimin didn't want to move. "It's okay Chim Chim, I'll play with you and Jungkook after we eat." She said to the younger boy, who then smiled and nodded, moving to sit next to Elkie.

Elkie finished eating before getting up, “Thank you, Jin oppa.” She said, kissing his cheek. She put her bowl in the sink. “I’m going outside.” She said before walking out of the kitchen.

She headed outside and down into the abandoned pool. They hung out there a lot. Jin has a thing with filming everything so he would film them having fun and take pictures. She sat down on the mattress and pulled her cigarettes out as she lit one.

“So, Jia, Namjoon tells us you produce music?” Hobi said with a smile. “Did he tell you we all dance and sing and rap?” He chuckled.

Jia smiled at Hoseok and nodded. "I do and I sing. And yes he told me that. He had shown me a video of you guys. You all are very talented. If I remember, Hoseok, you are in charge of the dancing?" She said and continue to eat her soup, "This is really good Jin, you might have to teach me your recipes." Jia complimented.

Yoongi was outside sitting against the wall of the warehouse. He had his earbuds in playing a new best from his phone, trying to remember the lyrics he wrote to the song since Elkie threw away the original copy. He saw Elkie come outside and went straight to the empty pool, from the corner of his eyes. He saw her smoking, but she was an adult so who is he to stop her.
