Mibba's ABC Drabble-a-Thon

Hello, Mibbians! Welcome to the MM's second annual ABC Drabble-a-Thon.

The Challenge

Throughout the month of July, write a set of 26 short stories, where each story is inspired by a letter of the alphabet.

How to Join

• Start a post in this thread where you'll keep track of the drabbles you've written/plan to write.
• Use the alphabet to create your own prompts for each drabble.
• Once you've got your prompts, start writing a drabble for each prompt.
• As your drabbles are completed, include a link in your post.
• If you're also attempting to win the Drabble Scholar/Drabble Master ranks: In your post, also include a list of drabbles you've commented.

The Prize(s)

• Write all 26 drabbles by the end of July 31st, and you'll receive a custom, collectible rank of Drabble Scribe 2018.
• Comment 26 drabbles written by other participants by the end of July 31st, you'll receive a custom, collectible rank of Drabble Scholar.
• Do both, you'll receive the custom ranks of Drabble Scribe 2018 and Drabble Scholar 2018, as well as the ultimate custom rank of Drabble Master 2018.

All ranks are collectible - you get to keep them forever!

The Rules

• All drabbles must follow Mibba's Story Guidelines.
• All drabbles must be posted as an individual story of its own. (You can add them all to one collection, if you'd like to group them together.)
• For the purpose of this contest, a drabble is defined as a short story between 100 and 1000 words long. (Drabbles that are too short or way over 1000 words won't count.)
• All drabble comments must be at least 25 words long and focus on the content of the drabble. (If your comment isn't enough, we'll let you know and give you a chance to fix it.)
