Sam watched but shook his head slightly. “We’ve gotta get going,” he said, relieved that Katie had dealt with Sean well enough. He watched Sean for a moment. “We’ll be back. I promise you that.” Quickly, he led the way out of the building.

Elaine sighed quietly. “I feel like this is going to end badly,” she murmured quietly, though she shook her head and quickly followed Sam, wanting to do the right thing, and wanting to get it done quickly, in hopes of saving others.

Katie followed Elaine with a concerned expression, because she was almost certain it would end badly, but damn it, she craved excitement, and there was something about the infamous Winchester brothers that was so incredibly captivating that she couldn't stop herself from being a little reckless. "But as long as we save someone, we can worry about it later."

Dean overheard Elaine, turning around to look at the girls, trying to look as reassuring as he could, because he understood that they put everything on the line to help out himself and Sam, and he appreciated it more than he could explain. "Listen," Dean spoke softly then, approaching Elaine, resting his hands upon her shoulders as his apple green eyes met hers. "I promise you, we are not bad people. We just get caught in the wrong places, at the wrong time." He promised. "Trust us for now, please. You'll get back here in one piece, I'll make sure of it."

Sam looked over to Katie, mildly surprised that she was taking this so well, so easily, and he found himself watching her, amazed by her, but he offered a smile and nodded slightly. “Of course,” he assured her, “We’ll be saving a lot of people by getting this done, I promise you that.” And he meant it; they just had to get the job done and everything would be okay.

Elaine blinked, surprised when she felt Dean’s hands on her shoulders, and she found herself watching him for a few long moments, listening intently to everything that he had to say. As he spoke, something in her told her she could trust him, so she found herself nodding, not taking her gaze from his. “Alright,” she said eventually, “Let’s just… Get this done.”
