“Of course I’ll be here,” Kaylin told him, not minding it was the weekend. She didn’t have other plans so working wouldn’t be an issue. Kaylin laughed softly, “Maybe I will.” She couldn’t deny that Ryker was attractive, but she wasn’t going to do anything about it.

Ryker smirked when she said she would hang out, "Alright but I have to warn you that I am not that interesting of a person." He teased her. He look at her, taking in her beautiful facial features. He had always found her good looking at the events they went to, but he was too broken to bother with women then.

“I think that will be okay, I’m not all that interesting anyway,” Kaylin smiled. She noticed the time and looked at Ryker, “I should be getting home, but I’ll be back tomorrow morning.”

Ryker nodded, "Alright I will see you tomorrow." He said as he walked her to the door. "Have a nice night." He said, watching as she left. He closed the door and locked it before he went to find Mina. He got her put to bed then walked into his bedroom. Ryker sighed as he looked at the big empty bed that waited for him. He felt taunted by it anymore since it had been so long since he had been with someone. He took a shower and got ready for bed before he laid down and fell asleep.

The next morning he woke up to Mina jumping on his bed and yelling good morning at him. Ryker chuckled as he sat up, "Do you realize how early it is?" He teased her. "You know what happens to children that wake up their parents at five am?" He asked her. He smiled as he began to tickle her hearing her giggles filling his room. Ryker pulled away, "Alright got to your room while I get dressed then we can have breakfast." He said. He got up and got ready for work, putting on a white button up and a tie. He sighed as he grabbed his suit jacket before he walked out and headed downstairs with Mina close behind him. "Alright eggs and bacon for breakfast?" He asked.

Mina nodded, "Yes! oh! make some for Kaylin." She told him.

Ryker nodded, "Sure thing munchkin." He teased her before he started on the food. When he heard the doorbell he walked away to get it. He smiled as he opened it, finding a tired Kaylin, "Good morning." He said. He walked inside with her, "I hope your hungry." He said as they walked into the kitchen. He began to get the food ready.

Mina looked at Kaylin, "I helped!" She chirped as she offered her new babysitter toast.

Kaylin made her way home and got her things ready for the following day. She took a shower before going to bed.

When she woke up the next morning to her alarm clock, she hit snooze and slowly got out of bed. She pulled the dark green dress from her closet and put it on, grabbing her sandals before going to her living room. Kaylin slid her sandals on and grabbed her purse off the counter before leaving her apartment.

A yawn escaped her lips as she reached Ryker’s home. She pressed the doorbell and smiled when she saw Ryker answer the door, “Good morning to you too.”

Following Ryker to the kitchen, she smiled as Mina offered her toast. Taking a bite, she nodded, “You did a great job helping.” She smiled at the four year old.

Ryker smiled as he handed Kaylin her plate of food. He sat down and began to eat after he gave Mina her food. He finished quickly, knowing he had to get to work. He looked at the two girls, "Alright I am heading out." He said as he walked over to Mina. "Be good okay?" He told her as he kissed her head. "I love you." He said before he grabbed his suit jacket and pulled it on. He looked at Kaylin, "Three hours tops." He said, smiling at her. "You look beautiful by the way." He said before he left.

Mina giggled as she watched Kaylin eat the toast, "Thank you." She said. She ate her food and hugged her daddy when he hugged her, "I love you too daddy." She said. She watched as he left then giggled at Kaylin, "Daddy called you pretty." She said, smiling.

Kaylin thanked Ryker for the food and said goodbye as he left. She wasn’t sure how to react to him calling her beautiful besides to blush. Once he was gone she looked at Mina, “He did, didn’t he?” She laughed softly, eating her breakfast. “What would you like to do after you eat?” Kaylin asked.

Mina smiled, "I like to watch cartoons for a little bit. I'm only aloud to watch them for an hour a day though." She said. "But sometimes grandma let's me watch them for more than an hour. Dont tell daddy." She said, giggling. "We could play outside later. I have a swing set!" She told her. Mina was just glad that she had someone to play with. "I need to get out of my pjs though." She added.

Kaylin finished her breakfast and cleaned her plate before turning her attention back to Mina. “First, Let’s finish your breakfast and then we can go out and you can play on your swing set,” Kaylin suggested, not wanting to rush the little girl.

Mina nodded and finished what little wa slept of her breakfast. She got off her chair, "All done!" She exclaimed. "I'm going to go get my shoes." She said before she ran upstairs to her bedroom. "Kaylin!" She yelled. She looked at her nanny as she came in the room. "Can you help me tie my shoes?" She asked as she held her shoes in her hands.

Kaylin watched as Mina ran upstairs, hearing her call for her. She got up and went to Mina’s room, “I’m here.” Kaylin nodded, helping her put her shoes on and helped her tie them. “There we go, perfect, ready to go outside?” She asked.

Mina nodded, "Before we got out can you put my hair up?" she asked her. she went to her bathroom and got a hairband before she came back and offered it to Kaylin. "After we play outside can we play hide and seek? I love that games." She said, smiling as she felt Kaylin pull her hair back.

Kaylin took the hairband and pulled Mina’s hair up into it. “Sure we can play hide and seek,” Kaylin said as she smiled. Once she had her hair up, Kaylin fixed it and stood all the way up, “There we go.”

Mina smiled, "Thanks." She said. She walked with her to the downstairs, then pushed open the glass patio doors. She walked outside, "Do you like swimming?" She asked Kaylin. "One day when daddy is home you should come over and swim. It's fun." she said as they walked towards her swing set. She got on the swing, letting Kaylin push her.

Kaylin followed Mina as she walked down the stairs and out the patio doors. “I might have to do that one day,” Kaylin agreed with Mina. Once they reached the swings, Kaylin gently pushed her.

Mina smiled as she let Kaylin push her. She laughed as she went higher, loving the feeling of the wind on her face. "Okay I think i'm done with the swings." She said as she climbed down slowly. She looked at Kaylina, "Are you ready to play hide and seek?" She asked as she took her hand and pulled her towards the house. "I will hide and you can seek. Don't peek." She said as she sat on the floor and started to take her shoes off. She sat them near the door then took off through the house. "Don't look!" She called before she disappeared. She smiled as she walked down the hallway, deciding that hiding in her daddy's room was the best idea. She knew that no one was suppose to be in there and that Kaylin probably wouldn't bother to look there. She slipped into his room and closed the doors before she went to his closet and hid.

Kaylin followed Mina back into the house. Once Mina took her shoes off, Kaylin covered her eyes, “Okay, go hide.” She smiled as she counted, “Here I come!” She called out as she uncovered her eyes. Kaylin checked the living room, the kitchen, and every other room downstairs before she made her way up the stairs. She looked in the play room and one Mina’s bedroom, “Where could she be?” Kaylin said loud enough for Mina to hear as she kept looking.

Mina covered her mouth to try to hide her giggle when she heard Kaylin talk. She hoped that she wouldn't find her. She felt like she had chosen a very good hiding spot. She heard the doors open to her daddy's bedroom She made sure to try to stay as quiet as possible. She could tell that Kaylin didn't want to really be in there though.

Kaylin checked every room before she stopped in front of Ryker’s bedroom. She sighed softly before slowly opening the door and stepping inside, “Mina?” Kaylin called out for her before walking over to the closet and opening the door, seeing the little blonde hiding there. “Found you!” She laughed, “Now come on, we aren’t supposed to be in here.” Kaylin smiled at her.

Mina laughed as Kaylin found her, "Why not?" She asked as she got up. "I come in here when daddy is home." She said, crossing her arms. Mina walked out of the closet and climbed onto his bed and looked at Kaylin. She sighed as she looked around the big room before her eyes returned to Kaylin, "What do you want to do next?" She asked her.
