Kaylin looked at Mina as she climbed onto the bed, “What else do you like to do? We could go watch a movie or play in your play room?” She felt a bit uncomfortable being in Ryker’s bedroom, the last thing she wanted was to cross a boundary on her first day.

Mina thought about it for a moment, "Let's go play in the playroom." She said as she climbed off his bed. She walked with her out of her dad's room and watched as she shut the door. Mina walked to her playroom and got some of her toys out, offering Kaylin one before she sat on the floor and began to play with her. "How many kids do you take care of?' She asked her after a bit.

Kaylin followed Mina to the playroom. She took the toy Mina offered her and sat on the floor with her. “Right now you’re the only one, before you I took care of two girls who were a little older than you before they moved away,” Kaylin told her. She smiled, “So right now all my focus is on you.”

Mina smiled, "Do you have a baby?" She asked her. She sighed when Kaylin said she didn't. "I like babies. I wanted a sister but daddy said that is not happening." She said, giggling.

Kaylin shook her head slightly, “No, I don’t have a baby.” She laughed softly, “I always wanted a sister too, but I got stuck with two older brothers.” She smiled as they played and talked.

Mina shook her head, "Boys are dumb." She said as she played with her. After awhile she looked at her, "Can I have something to eat?" she asked her.

Kaylin looked at her, deciding against saying anything else. She nodded when Mina asked for food, “Sure, Let’s go get you something to snack on.” Kaylin got up and walked down to the kitchen with her, “Is there anything you want?”

Mina walked into the kitchen, "Can I have an apple?" She asked. "With peanut butter and goldfish crackers." She said as she climbed into the chair. "Can you take the skin off of it?" She asked her. Mina smiled as her snack was sat in front of her and she began to eat. She climbed down when she was done and went to the living room, watching cartoons.

A few hours later Ryker walked in the house, setting keys down on the entry table. He walked into the living room to find Mina asleep on the couch. He smirked as he walked the kitchen, hearing Kaylin. He watched her clean up for moment, "You dont have to do that you know." He said as he pulled his jacket off. "How'd today go?" He asked her.

Kaylin waited until Mina fell asleep before she went and started cleaning up around the house. She went to the playroom and put the toys away before going back down the stairs. Kaylin washed the dishes and dried them before putting them away, she was just finishing emptying the garbage when Ryker came in. “I don’t mind, it’s no problem doing it,” She smiled at him. “How was your day?” Kaylin asked.

Ryker smiled, "It was boring. I had to make some boring phone calls and send out some paper work." He said as he went to the fridge to get a bottle of water. "I am actually pretty exhausted for that short amount of time." He said. "I think I may order pizza for dinner." He said. He watched her, "I hope Mina was good for you today." He said.

Kaylin nodded as she went and washed her hands, “That’s too bad.” She smiled, “Mina was great, she went on the swing set, played hide and seek, and then went in her play room.” Kaylin laughed softly, “She just had a snack before she fell asleep.”

Ryker smiled, "I am surprised you got her to nap actually. She is constantly running around with me." He said. Ryker looked at her, "Are you going to that party the country club is having next friday?" He asked. He knew his family wanted him to go and his sister offered to watching Mina because she hadnt seen her in awhile.

Kaylin laughed, “I wasn’t really trying to, she just fell asleep during a movie.” When he mentioned the party, she shrugged slightly, “I hadn’t really thought about it, but I might.” If Ryker was going, Kaylin might have to go. It would give her a chance to talk to him outside of work.

Ryker nodded, "You should go so I have someone to talk to." He told her. "My sister is going to watch Mina for the night." He added. He would be lying if said he wasnt thinking about what he could do with Kaylin if they were alone for the whole night. He hadnt been with a woman in so long and he was getting impatient lately.

“Well then I’ll have to go then,” Kaylin said, smiling at him. She was already starting to plan out her outfit for the night. Kaylin wanted to impress Ryker, even though he was her boss, she still thought he was handsome.

Ryker smiled, "Perfect. I will have someone to talk to and you wont be alone." He teased her. "Did you want to stay to eat?" He asked as he grabbed the pizza menu. "Mina usually just likes cheese pizza but of you prefer something else I can order two pizzas." He said, smiling.

Kaylin smiled, “I’d love to have someone to talk to there.” She nodded, “I’ll stay to eat.” Kaylin grabbed a water from the fridge and sat down at the counter, “Plain cheese is fine with me.”

Ryker nodded then ordered a cheese pizza and some breadsticks. He hung up as Mina came into the kitchen. "Daddy!" She exclaimed as she ran to him. Ryker picked her up, "Hey did you have a good nap?" He asked as he kissed her temple.

Mina nodded, "Did you miss me?" She asked as she hugged him tightly.

Ryker chuckled, "Every second." He replied as he held her for a moment before he let her down.

Kaylin smiled when Mina ran into the kitchen and went straight to Ryker. She sipped her water as she sat at the counter. She couldn’t help admiring the two together.

Ryker let Mina down, "I ordered Pizza for dinner." He told her. Mina smiled, "I love pizza!" She exclaimed. She looked at Kaylin, "Are you staying?" She asked.
