Sinnoh Adventures

Legends foretold that the guardians of Space and Time, Dialga and Palkia were brought together, they would open the Reverse World, a "Phantom World" where Giratina lives. Many trainers sought out these legendary Pokemon and even more sought the three guardian spirit Pokemon to summon Palkia and Dialga.

A group of unlikely trainers are the last line of defense when Team Galactic begins thier search for the legendary Sinnoh Pokemon.

Note: Trainers must be 16-18 when beginning their journey due to this slight AU of the Pokemon games.

Erin's Character

The sun shone high in a small town surrounded by nothing, but trees. Kyrie placed her town map and the set of pokeballs she had bought in Sandgem town into her bag before zipping up her knapsack. She and her best friend, Denny had been planning their pokemon journey together for the whole winter actually. And now that it was warm and Profesor Rowan was handing out new Pokemon again, they were allowed to go. Kyrie slipped on her backpack and turned around to face the mirror on the open door of her closet. As she was finished getting ready, readjusting her glasses, Kyrie heard her mother calling for her from downstairs. It was then she knew the reason.

"Coming!" Kyrie took one last look at her bedroom before closing the door behind her and heading downstairs.

Denny:

Denny eagerly was waiting downstairs with Kyrie's mother. Not all that interested in the small talk, she broke out in a big smile as soon as her best friend cam downstairs.

Running over, almost knocking over Kyrie with a hug, Denny laughed.

"Can you believe we are finally old enough to have our own Pokemon finally?!" Denny exclaimed, "Took forever to convince my mom to let me do this with you!"

Denny's family didn't have much interaction with pokemon. Her mother was often afraid of them, and her father thinking it was nothing but a waste of time. Denny was always drawn to the world of pokemon. And now is her chance to experience what she was so curious about all these years.

Kyrie laughed at practically being tackled by Denny but returned her best friend's hug anyways. She nodded with a smile as she released Denny. "I can, especially after I promised your mother over and over again that you would be perfectly fine." She said with a laugh, remembering how Denny's mom had freaked out at the thought of something like a Arbok or a Gloom poisoning them or a fire pokemon frying them to a crisp. But after convincing and with the help of her own mom, Kyrie managed to assure Denny's parents that the two of them would be fine.

Kyrie's own parents were once Pokemon trainers and were gym leaders at one point before retiring and settling down to help Professor Rowan in Sangem Town. And Kyrie herself always had a fascination for Pokemon and wanted to go on a journey an with her best friend no less.

Kyrie finally looked at Denny with a smile. "FIgure out which Pokemon you want yet?"

Deny

Denny stepped back, and took a moment to think.

In deep thought for a moment, she finally replied, "Not at all!"

Breaking out in a laugh, Denny gave reassuring smile to her friend.

Kyrie just shook her head, "OH well, that's part of why we're going on this adventure, to figure that part out and other deep shit that people claim t think of." She said this half jokingly. Kyrie finally looked at Denny and ruffled her hair. "Anyways, ready?"

Denny:

"Ready as I will ever be!" Denny laughed. She then grabbed her friends hand, and rushed out the door.

"I hope there are still plenty to pick from!" Denny gushed to Kyire, as they approached the lab.

Kyrie
Kyrie laughed as Denny left her out of the house and to the lab. "Of course there is." She laughed, "The professor always has plenty of Pokemon to give away."

As they arrived at the road leading to the Lab, Kyrie heard a loud squeak coming from some nearby bushes. She stopped, almost causing Denny to trip. "Did you hear that?" She asked.

Denny:

Denny perked up for a brief moment. Anxiously looking around, she returned a worried look to Kyrie.

"Yeah..."

Kyrie
Kyrie stared at the bushes the sound came from, slowly moving to the side pocket of her backpack where she put the pokeballs and Pokemon treats. If anything she would be able to distract any Pokemon with the treats should something happen.

Another loud squeak sounded from the bushes and Kyrie caught sight of the bushes moving. A Pachirisu popped out of the bushes with a berry in its mouth
The Pachirisu immediately squeaked again before running off, electric Sparks coming from it's cheeks.

Denny:

Denny let out a small scream of shock. Falling back on her butt, she looked around in embarrassment. This was the closest encounter she has gotten to a Pokemon in her life. The brief encounter cut her off by surprise.

"I'm alright..." Denny sheepishly smiled at Kyrie. Dusting herself, she looked off at where the Pachirisu scurried off to.

Kyrie
Kyrie laughed at Denny's surprise and shook her head.

"Are you sure?" She asked, giving Denny a playful push.

before she could say anything else, another cry came from the bushes, followed by an Eevee bursting from the bushes. The little fox Pokemon glared after the Pachirisu before trying to run after it. One of the branches of the bushes snagged onto Eevee's tail fur, making it squeal in pain as it tugged, trying to be free.

Denny:

Laughing, Denny quickly turned her attention to the distressed pokemon.

"It's okay, little one," Denny said to the Eevee in a soothing voice. With shaky hands, Denny managed to gently free the pokemons tail.

"All better?" She smiled at the Eeevee.

Kyrie:
The Eevee gave a little at having been touched but noticing its tail was no longer snagged onto the bushes, the Pokemon glanced at back at Denny.

Kyrie giggled a bit but she reached into her pocket for a berry to give to the Eevee when a voice called out to them.

"Don't let that Eevee get away!"

The voice startled the Eevee and Kyrie, making Kyrie drop the berry from being startled.

The Eevee grabbed the berry and quickly ran off just as one of Professor Rowan's assistants came running out of one of the habitat enclosures settled to the left of the lab.

Denny:

Also jumping, startled by the outburst, Denny turned around.

"Uh, sorry..." She trailed off, looking at the direction the Eevee ran off in.

"Was that pokemon yours?" She asked the assistants.

Kyrie:
The assistant leaned over, his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath. He immediately looked at Denny and Kyrie and shook his head. "Ah, no, it's Professor Rown's. The professor was studying it's fur and Dna mutation."

"DNA.. Mutation? You mean like Shiny Pokemon?" Kyrie asked, realizing the Eevee had silver fur and not the usual brown and cream colored fur normal Eevee's had.

The Assistant laughed weakly and nodded. "Pretty much."

Kyrie suddenly glanced at Denny. "Think we should go after it?"

Denny:

Denny could of sworn what the group was talking about was in a completely different language to her. She had no idea what they meant. All she heard was DNA mutation, and didn't like the sound of that.

"Depends..." She replied to Kyrie.

Turning to the assistants, she crossed her arms with Concern.
"I don't like the sound of DNA Mutation. Does it hurt the pokemon?"

Kyrie:
The assistant's eyes went wide and laughed a bit. "No, it's not something that can harm Pokemon. it's a natural occurrence in nature.... Humans included..." Seeing his words not reaching Denny, the Assistant felt flustered at this.

Kyrie just playfully poked Denny's side, getting her attention as she explained it. "Like the assistant said, it's something that happens naturally, like that one girl in our science class being born with two different colored eyes."

Denny:

Looking down at her feet, and blushing furiously, Denny couldn't believe she could of been so stupid. But with pokemon practically forbidden in her family, how could of she have known these simple things?

"I'm...Sorry..." She stuttered her apology, "I'll help you find it..."
