Alec looked at the food, "Just a sandwich is fine." He said as he took the sandwich. He smirked as they got some drinks, then walked with him. He stopped in the hallway and looked at her. "Mehki, you know that you are really important to me right?" He asked her.

Bran frowned at Ryker's response. "Someone will be coming to get you for your test soon." He said. He walked out, glaring when he seen mehki and Alec.

Mackenzie frowned, "for causing all of this. I shouldn't have let him in the house." She said. She looked at him, then looked over as the doctor came in. Mackenzie frowned as she watched him leave. "That guy gives me a creepy vibe." She said.

Mehki nodded before paying for the food knowing she got a nice discount. She hummed as she walked with him. She blinked when he stopped turning to look at him. A smile lit up her face as she looked at him, "You're really important to me too." She hugged him again before laughing as they headed back to the room. She stopped seeing Bran glaring at her and just walked past him towards Ryker's room.

Ryker heard her words and sighed shaking his head. "Shut up. It would've happened eventually." He told her before watching Bran with a small smirk as he saw the frown. "Alright." He looked at Mackenzie once he had left the room. "Makes me think of some punk ass bitch." He muttered.

Alec smiled as he hugged her back. He kissed her softly then followed her. He walked into the room, "Here you go buddy food." He said. He smirked as he sat down and began to eat.

Mackenzie sighed, "If you say so." She said. He looked up as they came back with food. She took her wrap from them and began to eat. She was starving.

Mehki kissed him back with a laugh. She sat down beside them and started to eat her own food knowing it was bad if a nurse started to get peckish. She watched them and just sat back.

Ryker nodded his head looking up hearing Alec and said, "Thanks." He took it and started to eat it before asking, "When do I get to sleep?" He sipped on his water as well waiting for Mehki to answer.

"Sadly, only your doctor can tell you that." Mehki told him iwth a frown.

Mackenzie took a sip of her drink, before she went back to eating her food. She wondered how long they would make Ryker stay awake. She could tell that he was exhausted. She looked up as Bran walked into the room

Bran looked at Ryker, "After your test results come back we will.be able to let you get some rest. They are here to take you now." He said. He looked at Mehki before walking out.

Ryker munched on his food before scarfing it down not having realized exactly how hungry he was. He looked up when Bran came in and nodded before smirking seeing him glance at Mehki and not say anything.

Mehki ate her food watching the clock. Hearing Bran's words she watched them wheel Ryker out and then sighed. "Sadly, I have work. The question is, do you guys need me to take off? Even if I'm working, I'll come by when I can to come check on Ryker. " She told them.

Mackenzie watched as Ryker ate his food. She smiled as she looked over as the guy when to take Ryker to get his test done. She smiled as she took the food he hadn't finished and began to put it away. She figured he would finish it once he got back.

Alec frowned as he watch Bran walk away. He shook his head at Mehki, "No, i'm fine." He said. Alec crossed his arms as he watched her walk out. Alec looked at Ryker before he sat down again.

Ryker frowned as they took him squirming around. Once they had gotten done with the tests he was taken back to the room. He relaxed finally after having given the nurses and doctors a hard time not liking being around them. He calmed down when he was back with his friends. He grumbled.

Mehki nodded before kissing his head gently. "I'll come and check on him after awhile. You know where to find me if you have any trouble." She waved at Mackenzie before leaving the room. She got her stethoscope as well as her clipboard before beginning to make rounds smiling at the patients warming them up knowing they were already upset at even being in a hospital. She was met with a grouchy middle aged man that kept yelling at her telling her to get the doctor and she had to explain several times that he would be around soon. Her eyes widened when the guy picked up something and threw it at her. She ducked knowing this was not going to be a good night for her.

Mackenzie looked at Ryker once he was back in his bed, "Still hungry?" She asked as she went to get some of his food out. He looked irritated and she could tell that he was not very happy. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she watched him.

Alec looked at his friend, "Please tell me you notice how creepy that guy is?" He asked them. He crossed his arms and looked out the door. He was worried about her working so late with the guy. He sighed as he sat down in the chair, crossing his arms.

Ryker nodded before sighed before taking the food from her beginning to chow down feeling a little better and more stable after eating. He looked up hearing Alec and laughed, "He did NOT like it when I told him to step back off of your girl." He nodded in agreement. "I think he's creepy, but I think she'll be fine." He looked at Mackenzie seeing how worried she looked.

Mehki finally called security to hold on the guy while she administered a small sedative. She then went to check on her other patients. She smiled gently at an older gentleman that asked her where the restroomo was. She directed him to it before going on with her evening.

Mackenzie looked at Alec when he mentioned the creepy doctor. "Just punch him. That will solve all the issues." She teased, smiling a little. Mackenzie looked at Ryker, seeing that he was pretty much done with his food. She threw away his trash then sat down next to him again. She just wanted him out of there.

Alec looked at Ryker and Mackenzie. "You think they are a thing?" He asked, getting really suspicious. He didn't know if he liked the idea of that guy near her. He crossed his arms as he thought about what could possibly be going on.

Ryker nodded his head at Mackenzie, "True, but this is her workplace." He shrugged lightly. "The way she looks creeped out when he comes into the room? No way." he shook his head. He thanked Mackenzie for throwing away his things and just sat back in bed before finally just falling asleep not caring about the damn test anymore.

Mehki hummed before helping with the ICU a bit since they were shortstaffed. She headed back to the ER afterwards to check on things before popping into Ryker's room and sighed seeing him asleep, "I can't blame him." She finally admitted shaking her head. "I'll go see if I can find his tests for you guys." She offered.

Mackenzie nodded, "You are right." She told him. She sat there, watching as he slept. She felt so bad that this was something that she caused. She knew that Ryker was just looking out for her.

Alec looked at her when she came back in. "Yea can you do that please?" He asked. He wanted badly to ask her about everything, but he didn't want to make a scene in the hospital. He rubbed the back of his neck and gave her a small smile.

Ryker fell asleep not caring about the damn concussion. He just wanted to sleep at this point. In the distance he could hear people speaking, but nothing could wake him up at this point.

Mehki nodded her head making sure Ryker's IV's were full and acting right. She then kissed Alec's cheek before going to find Ryker's file and came back in after a few minutes. "It looks like he just needs some rest. That and liquid. He's dehydrated, but no brain damage or anything like that." She told them with a smile. "He'll be fine. He only needs to stay here for another day while we monitor him."

Mackenzie was relieved to hear that Ryker was going to be okay. She would have felt awful if something terrible was wrong. She knew they had a long night ahead of them though. Mackenzie looked over as Alec asked if she wanted to go home. "No, I'm fine here. You can go if you want." She told him. She rests her arms on the bed before she let her head rest on them. It wasn't long before she fell asleep.

Alec nodded, "Alright, you sleep. I will go get some food." He said as he got up and walked out with Mehki. "You sure you are okay?" He asked, looking down at her. He felt bad for dragging her into everything. He could have had her seriously get hurt. "I really appreciate you helping me out." He told her.

Ryker woke up not long after Alec and Mehki had left the room to find Mackenzie asleep with her arms on her head on the bed. He sighed softly watching her, becoming soft knowing no one could see him at the moment. He just watched her sleep feeling comforted by it even with the pounding he felt from his head injury.

Mehki walked out with Alec and blinked hearing his words and just smiled at him brightly. "I'm fine. I'm more resilient than I look." She grinned before seeing the look on his face and just hugged him wanting to comfort him. "I don't mind. I'm glad you're not hurt." She told him looking up and reaching up to kiss him lightly. She heard a cough from behind her and blinked turned around to see Bran.

Mackenzie continued to sleep until she heard Alec storm into the room. She rubbed her eyes and sighed. "What is going on?" She muttered as she pulled away from the bed. She looked at Alec then ran her fingers through her hair.

Alec frowned when he heard the cough. He looked at the guy, seeing him motion for Mehki to come help him. "I will be in the room with Ryker. Come get me if you need me." He said as he kissed her forehead. He walked back to the room, frowning as he stepped in. "That fucker is up to something that is what is going one Mack." He told her. "Tell me am I overreacting?" He asked as he got closer to Mackenzie.

Ryker looked up with a raised eyebrow as Alec came storming into the room. He heard Alec and leaned back on the bed into his pillow frowning gently hearing him and said, "I've never seen you so riled up over another dude before." He pointed out not knowing if he was reacting or not.

Mehki rolled her eyes where only Alec could see but smiled feeling him kiss her forehead. "Okay." She promised giving one more quick peck on his cheek before heading back off to her shift knowing she wasn't usually so distracted at work. She figured she might take off a little at the end of her shift so she could be with Alec, Mackenzie, and Ryker. She looked up when Bran stepped in front of her. "What?" She asked him.

Mackenzie shrugged, "I mean I think you might be overreacting since they just work together. Though he does seem a little interested in her." She said. She sighed as Alec seemed to get more irritated. Mackenzie groaned as she laid her head on Ryker's bed.

Alec frowned, "Well fuck. Mack should I like beat his face in or something? Is that acceptable?" He asked, glancing towards the door. He couldn't quit being mad about Bran. Alec walked away and sat down on the chair in corner. He crosses his arms, narrowing his eyes.

Bran shrugged, "I just want you to stay a little longer to help out after your shift." He said as he grabbed a clipboard nearby.

Ryker laughed softly seeing Alec look like a little kid in the corner. He looked at Mack and shook his head. "This is so simple. Warn him to fuck off, if he doesn't then you hit him." He told him shrugging lightly.

Mehki stopped and looked at him before saying, "I can't. I have to be with my boyfriend and his friend today." She told him waiting for his response running a hand through her hair.
