Tyler watched as the man shot an arrow at him. He whispered a few words as the arrow flew through the air. The arrow stopped in its' tracks and fell harmlessly at Tyler's feet.

Tyler bent down and picked it up, and used the head to make a noticable wound along his own arm. He spent a few moments looking around the room, before whispering some words stopping the bleeding from his own arm. He stepped back, "That's just what I can do to protect myself, are you satisfied that I can help, or do you need me to blow something up?" he asked as he stared at the king.

Isadora watched as the arrow stopped short of touching him. She smiled softly to herself frowning when he hurt himself before watching him heal himself. She felt entranced for a moment before sitting back in her seat giving a soft smile to him lightly.

The king watched, impressed as well as confused, as Tyler showed him his things. "Please, nothnig needs to be blown up." He raised a hand with a small laugh glancing at his daughter seeing her pleased. "The question still stands of why I should trust you?" He asked raising his eyebrow at him a small smirk on his lips as he did so.

Francis frowned watching Tyler with a glare before plopping back into his seat. Seeing Isadora watching him made him feel jealous causing him to grab her arm again.

"Francis stop!" Isadora whispered with a frown. When she winced in pain, Sebastian stepped forward with a deadly glare at Francis.

Tyler put his arm up stopping Sebastian. He'd noticed how Francis had been hurting Isadora. He stepped forward, "Because, I'm offering to help in exchange for only some assurance of my safety," he began.

Tyler moved closer, "and rather than hurting your daughter, or endangering her life, I risked my own to give Sebastian an opportunity to get her to safety," he said shooting a glance at Francis.

"I'd also add, that my aid isn't conditional on the terms of marriage," he said lightly. He moved closer, only about ten feet from the King, "Also I come with a dragon," he said as a whisper.

Isadora watched ignoring Francis speaking to her. She narrowed her eyes wondering what he was getting at. Hearing his next words, she gasped standing up in shock her eyes widened.

The king glaned at Isadora before looking back at Tyler hearing his last words, his eyes narrowing. "They're all dead." He said flatly. He glanced seeing Isadora's reaction, holding up a hand as she went to speak. "Be quiet." He said.

Francis stood up as well pushing Isadora behind him as if he would protect her. "Don't lie, scoundrel. Guards!" He howled.

Isadora pushed past him before standing in front of Tyler knowing the guards wouldn't touch her. "Stop." She hissed getting a glare from Francis. "It is not a woman's place to rebel against her husband." He growled. "Good thing we aren't married." She snapped finally getting annoyed with it.

"Yet." He growled causing the king to look at him. "Sit down, boy. And treat my daughter with more respect." He snapped.

Tyler smirked, seeming to have expected such a reaction. He for the first time peeled off his cloak completely. His body was covered in odd runes, and scars, except three large gash wounds across his chest.

"Relax, unless you want my friend to level this castle," Tyler said calmly. He lifted his hand tracing along a rune scraped on his arm.

An strange energy echoed through the throne room, causing Tyler to fall to his knees. When he looked up at the king his eyes glowed a golden red. "King Ryder, now would be the time to either accept my friends offer of aid, or let him walk away," a loud deep source-less voice rang out.

Isadora gasped when she his runes and scars. When he fell to his knees, Sebastian grabbed her pushing her behind him. She peeked out lightly frowning when she heard the voice shaking her head lightly.

The King narrowed his eyes again standing up from his throne causing silence to go throughout the room. "Calm Down. I just wish to speak with him. I mean no harm." He hissed knowing for a fact that he couldn't go back on his word. He sat back down with a sigh running a hand over his face wearily. "How?" He asked looking at him. "We killed you." He murmured with a small frown.

Hearing her father's words, Isadora shook her head lightly, "Just accept! What good is it to not accept?" She asked confused. "Isadora!" The king boomed turning to glare at his child. "Be quiet."

Normally Isadora was fllowed her father's orders, but she raised her chin in defiance shaking from being scared. "No!" She replied moving to stand beside Tyler. "I will not be told what to do when I'm the one who brought him here, knowing what he was."

The king's head snapped up standing up again. "YOU KNEW!?" He demanded his voice rising. "Of course I knew. That's why I sought him out." She replied with a glare.

"You know nothing you ignorant child!" The king replied with a sigh. "I know you and the neighboring kingdoms had them killed." She clenched her fists at her sides. "I know we are losing the battle." She whispered raising her head with tears in her eyes. "I also know that the troops from my arranged marriage aren't enough to end this war. You are the ignorant one, thinking I know so little. You are a stupid and stubborn old man that refuses to bow down even when his country is dying!" She finally yelled. The king watched her stunned.

Mythandarian chuckled lightly hearing Isadora stand up to her father. "I was young, barely able to fly when the humans tried to wipe us out those many many years ago," the voice rang out. "Much like my friend, I wondered the world alone, until I found him," he said.

Tyler's body stood up, "now would you like our aid to end this war, otherwise I'm more than happy to sit back and watch you humans destroy each other," the voice echoed. Tyler's head turned to Isadora, "Sweet girl, thank you for speaking up, but be careful, if things go bad get him to the courtyard" whispered through her mind alone.

The king frowned watching them both sitting back on the throne. "It seems as if you've convinced my daughter of this matter." He sighed watching him for a moment thinking. He didn't know how to respond to the fact that he was speaking to a dragon rider. He couldn't fathom it. He had been a young new king when the whole ordeal had occurred.

Isadora glanced at Tyler hearing Mythandarian's words and gave a gentle nod. She looked back at her father as he thought before hearing him say. "I am hesitant to agree, but seeing how my daughter defends you, I suppose I have no choice than to agree."

"Well, if that's the case, then I want Francis banished." Isadora finally said before sighing looking at him. "He is not kind, father." She raised her sleeve just a tad to show fresh bruises forming as well as old ones.

Tyler's head turned to look at the King, and Francis. "I'll let you decide what you do with the young commander," the voice echoed out. Tyler dropped down again, and shook his head.

"Woah, that was intense," he said lightly. He struggled to his feet, looking at Isadora next to him, and the court looking shocked, 'so I guess you've been speaking to my friend," he said with a little chuckle.

Sebastian looked up shocked seeing the bruises as well. He whipped his head to look at Francis. He grabbed his arm in a death grip. "Seize him." The king's voice was quiet but flat. "And take him away from my sight." He growled out watching as Francis started to scream at him and flail as he left.

Isadora felt a weight taken off of her as she sighed seeing her father's concern. She shook her head looking back at Tyler letting him take the spotlight. "Welcome to the king's army." She whispered softly with a small smile. She pushed dark locks away from her face.

The king sat back in his chair a little nodding his head. "Yes, welcome." He murmured. "First thing is first, you requested what exactly?" he asked him.

Tyler looked around surprise by the ordeal. He bent down and pulled up his cloak. "Thank you, I only hope to end the suffering," he said lightly. He stepped forward, "Some simple requests, I need a competent blacksmith to work on some Armour for me, and some food for my friend when the Kingdom can afford to lose some livestock," he informed the king.

He looked back at Sebastian and Isadora, "and simply an assurance that once this is over with we'll both be free to live our lives," he added.

The was a large "Woosh!" as Mythandarian flew overhead. "Would you like to actually meet him?" he asked the King.

The king listened to his words watching him and sighed, "Done." He narrowed his eyes hearing his next request before sighing. "You know as well as I do that, that won't be so simple." He pointed out. "I will have to check up on you every once and awhile and we both know hwy." He told him sternly.

Isadora gasped hearing a whoosh when Mythandarian flew overhead. She got excited hearing Tyler's words. "Yes!" She said knowing she was far more interested than she should be. "I suppose I must since it seems to me that I am doing business with both of you." He murmured getting to his feet.

Tyler nodded, "I know, but being check up on, and being senselessly murdered are different," he commented. He turned and walked towards the exit. He smiled at Isadora, "apparently he likes you," he whispered in her ear.

He made his way to the court yard, the guards were freaking out, not knowing what was going on. He stepped into the center of the courtyard, "now would be a good time to tell them to stand down," he mentioned to the king.

Isadora blinked hearing Tyler's words and blushed but smiled softly. She thought it was very interesting to see a dragon -- especially up close. She bit down on her lip lightly wondering how her father was going to react to all of this.

The king nodded his head ignoring the jab knowing he probably deserved it. He walked forward seeing the guards freaking out. "Guards, this is a guest." He told them as they backed away understanding. He walked forward standing a good amount of feet away.

Tyler reached over to his arm and grabbed a different ruin, to let Mythandarian know it was safe to land. He stepped forward a decent amount in front of everyone.

Mythandarian came flying down, and landed in the court yard. His giant wings beating, as he reached out landing on long clawed feet. He bowed to Tyler, and looked up at King Ryder. His eyes staring down at him, on edge still ready to attack if he needed to.

Tyler reached out, "See buddy, things seem to be going fine," he said lightly.

Isadora watched as Mythandarian landed her eyes widening as she smiled softly. She walked forward a little before waving at him with a grin. "Hi!" She said happily. She knew she looked like a little kid, but she knew it wasn't everyday that you got to meet a dragon.

The king watched the great beast fly before landing. He heard his daughter unable to keep a straight face hearing her. He let out a small chuckle before saying, "Greetings."

Mythandarian bowed slightly, to the King and Isadora. "Greetings Sir," he said lightly. Tyler looked at Sebastian with a small smile, "I'll be right back," he said quickly before running off to grab his armor.

Mythandarian relaxed slightly sitting back. "It's nice to talk to someone slightly older, than Tyler," he admitted lightly. He looked around the court, "King Ryder, are you afraid of us?" he asked curious.

Isadora watched Mythandarian biting on her lip gently as she did so. She didn't knw what she thought at the moment. She was just shocked if she had to be honest. She glanced seeing Tyler leave wondering what he was doing before turning back.

King Ryder watched the great dragon thinking to himself. He nodded his head lightly. "I'm going to go on a limb and say you two are not the same age?" He questioned before blinking hearing his words giving a soft laugh. "No. I am simply weary." He admitted. "Are you frightened of us?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

Mythandarian relaxed down moving closer to the King, "I'm about twenty years older than him,' he admitted. He smiled lightly, "I'm weary of all humans, after all it was you who turned on us," he reminded the king lightly. He folded his wings back, standing tall, "But you were young, and thought you were doing the right thing, much like Tyler," he said lightly.

Tyler came back with is piecemeal armor tucked in a bundle, he smiled at Isadora walking over, "So what do you think?" he asked lightly.

King Ryder nodded his head lightly hearing his words. "20 years ago huh?" He murmured with a sigh before nodded his head again. "I wont apologize for doing what I thought was right, but I will apologize for the things my colleagues did." He told him watching as the dragon stood mighty and tall. "Is he smart, the dragon rider?" He questioned glancing seeing him speaking to his daughter.

Isadora bit down on her lip watching Mythandarian happily before turning back to look at Tyler. She had gathered her skirts up as she walked, now, she dropped them by her sides and smiled. "He's magnificent." She murmured turning to look at Mythandarian once more. She then turned her full attention to Tyler.
