Freya curled into his side, sighing contently as she closed her eyes. "Did you accept?" She asked, assuming that he hadn't taken it, but figuring it was polite to ask anyway.

Rowan shook his head, "no, not yet," he said softly. He put his arm around her, "maybe after things have been resolved," he said.

Freya nodded a little, snuggling closer. "Lord Nightfell.." she murmured softly, smiling at the thought before she began to fall asleep again, comfortable with him there with her.

Rowan chuckled lightly, and kissed her forehead letting her fall asleep. He held her close.

Freya slept soundly for a few hours in his arms, head resting comfortably against his chest and her arms loosely wrapped around him. When she finally woke she groaned softly, rubbing her eyes tiredly as she stretched.

Rowan stayed with her, watching over her. He sat silently, letting her sleep. As she stirred he smiled softly, 'How are you feeling sleepy head?" he asked softly.

Freya rubbed her eyes tiredly, looking up at him with a small smile. "Much better... What time is it?" She asked softly, taking his hand and pressing a gentle kiss to his knuckles.

Rowan smiled gently, and lent down to kiss her, "It's almost evening again," he said softly. He ran his hand along her leg, "Shall we go see your father soon?" he asked.

Freya kissed him back gently, resting her hand lightly against his cheek. "I love you, so much, Rowan.." She whispered, sighing a little as she rolled to lay on her back next to him, staring up at the ceiling nervously. "I suppose... I-I don't want him to hurt you, though.." She whispered with a frown, looking over at him.

Rowan smiled and continued to run his hand higher up her leg. "I love you too, Princess," he said softly. He kissed her cheek, "We can give it a moment, if you want first," he offered. "But we will have to see him eventually,"

Freya blushed as he ran his hand up her leg, smiling shyly up at him. "Rowan.. There are guards right outside, remember?" She whispered, blushing brightly. As much as she wanted to do things with him, she wasn't sure it was a good idea to in case they got caught and her father found out.

Rowan nodded softly and smiled, "Okay maybe another night then," he said sweetly. He pulled his hand away with a light kiss. "Shall we go see your father, let him know you are doing better," he said softly.

Freya pressed a loving kiss to his lips before nodding, sitting up with a soft groan, the room spinning as she suddenly felt lightheaded. "Oh, dear.." she murmured, holding his arm to steady herself.

Rowan helped her to her feet. "Ops, I've got you," he said lightly. He looked her over, and tidied her outfit for her.

Freya held onto his arm as they left her room and went to see her father, who was very glad to see that she was awake and walking around.

Rowan smiled softly and walked with her. He kept quite unless the King spoke with him.

The king asked his daughter how she was feeling, if she was still unwell and if she wanted to go back to rest. Freya shook her head, smiling weakly at her father. "No, I'd like to stay here.." She said, despite wanting to go back to bed, but she was too afraid to leave Rowan's side.

The king, once satisfied with his daughter's response, turned to Rowan. "You said earlier that you would like to find whoever poisoned my daughter and put an end to this plot.. How do you plan to do so?"

Rowan looked up at the King and thought for a moment. "I was thinking of some travel," he said lightly. He looked at Freya, "perhaps, we can send Freya to meet with that other prince, and I tag along, to keep an eye on her, and find out what I can," he suggested. He looked down, "If you think that is safe," he said.
