She murmured as she curled into his arms, tilting her head back to give him access to her neck, closing her eyes as he drank from her. Walter nodded. "Okay you have a good point there. I need to spend more time preparing for it. I need to have some magic in effect that will activate upon my death." he said and stroked her hair. "But I honestly believe that I won't have to Bernadette." he said and sighed rubbing her back softly.

Zane rubbed her back as she drifted to sleep wondering if she knew he hated her pregnancy but was cautiously excited for the baby? To most people it was the same thing but not to him. Rosemarie slept soundly in his arms, glad to be able to get some decent rest without having to worry about waking up early, or traveling, or worrying about Zane going off to fight other vampires. She was glad that he wasn't awake as soon as the sunset like he had been the past few weeks, waking about an hour or so after the sun went down, although she only curled further into his arms with a little hum, not quite ready to get out of bed yet, even if it was to finally go home.

Zane pulled her closer in his sleep. Celtin woke first and pushed up sitting back seeing Rosemarie and grinning. "Good morning Rose." He whispered to her wanting her to know he was awake but not trying to wake Zane. "I don't think I have seen him sleep this much in years." he said not specifying how many years.

Bernadette nodded a little at his words, returning his kiss as they stood before nodding when he suggested that they head back to their room. "I am tired.. Maybe after we take a nap, we could look for houses nearby?" She asked softly, smoothing her hands over his shirt as she looked up at him. As much as she liked being in her old family home, it wasn't the same anymore, and she'd much rather have her own private little cottage to share with her bond. Thibault's house was too big and grand for her, anyway.

Thibault nodded, pressing a kiss to her forehead as he led her back to their room. "We can do that. I didn't sleep much without you around on my trip, so perhaps I'll try to rest while you read. Maybe you could even read to me." He suggested with a smile.

Rosemarie snuggled happily into Zane's arms, although when she heard Celtin wake she carefully shifted so she could face him, offering him a sleepy smile. "Good morning, Celtin." I don't think he was sleeping very much while we were traveling, because of the stress. I'm happy we're going home, where he can at least be comfortable."

Walter nodded. "That sounds lovely." he said and took them back to their room. He laid in bed with her closing his eyes as he let the exhaustion of healing sweep over him. Walter was asleep in no time at all. His one hope was that they would find something that would work for them when they looked for little cottages.

Cassia beamed. "I would love to read to you." she said and walked with him her hand in his. She was glad when they got back to their room. She felt relaxed here. They had shared so many things here, good and bad, and difficult and amazing things, it was the place that they were truly themselves. While Thibault got comfortable Cassia picked out a book and crawled over to the bed waiting for him.

Celtin grinned and nodded. "He likely won't sleep well for a while more." he said softly hoping his friend would get enough sleep to last him through the worry for his bond. Celtin understood the worry and knew there was nothing that he could do at this point to help besides being there to help with whatever needs to happen. "How are you feeling this morning Rose?"

Bernadette happily curled into his arms with him in bed, tugging the blankets around them comfortably while he drifted off to sleep, playing with his hair. She was relived that he was resting, knowing that despite what he told her he was tired and feeling unwell still, especially after everything that had happened the last few days. It wasn't long before she drifted off to sleep as well, curled up in the safety of his arms.

Once there he went to the bathroom to tidy up and change into more comfortable clothes before getting into bed with a sigh, wrapping an arm around her to pull her close once he was settled. "Alright, read to me." He pressed a kiss to the back of her hand, settling back against the pillows. It wasn't long however before his eyes closed and exhaustion began to overtake him, and soon enough the man was sound asleep.

Rosemarie frowned a little bit as Celtin said Zane likely wouldn't get a lot of good sleep soon enough, snuggling further into her bond's arms, hoping to bring him some comfort. She murmured softly, looking up at the ceiling in defeat.

Cassia sat reading until Thibault fell asleep beside her. She stroked his hair as she read silently. She was worried about him. She knew travel wasn't easy for him and he hadn't slept much without her but it was still weird to see him nap. After all he was a vampire. She wished she knew more vampires other than Bernadette and Thibault. She wished she understood them better but knew they were a hard species to truly understand.

Celtin sat up and shook his head. "Did he say that or is that something you are assuming?" he asked her. Zane was starting to wake his sleep becoming restless. Zane stretched out and yawned waking his arms tightening around Rosemarie. "Good morning." he whispered looking her over and grinning. Celtin stood and rubbed his neck. "I'm going to shower." He walked out of the room into the bathroom. Once the door was closed Zane smirked. "I reckon we have ten to fifteen minutes of alone time." He said and kissed her softly. Thibault slept soundly for a few hours, one arm draped comfortably over her waist while his other tucked under his head, his breathing deep and steady. He'd barely slept at all on his trip, despite telling Cassia he'd only lost a few hours of sleep here or there, and he was relieved to be home and able to sleep again with Cassia at his side.
