Cassia nodded. "Thank you for that but I am perfectly capable of saying no if I feel I need to Thibault." she said and then stood after finishing her tea. "I am going to go get ready for bed and I will be back shortly." she said and then turned walking out. Cassia walked until she turned the corner then broke out into a run to her room. She burst into her room and turned around looking about. She bit her lip and then started to undress. She cleaned up and dressed in her pjs. Cassia pulled on a silky robe and paddled back through the castle her heart hammering in her chest. With each step she took she thought over everything until she stood in front of his door. She could turn around right now and forget everything and leave tomorrow. Cassia knocked gently standing there in her bare feet. When Cassia entered his room again it was different. His room was almost romantic dimly light and there he was standing in the dim moonlight closing the curtains. Cassia entered and closed the door. She turned back to him looking over his body that he had uncovered for sleep. She bit her lip gently and could feel the blush like it was a lightbulb in the dark room. Cassia slowly stepped closer towards him.

Zane frowned not believing she had almost completed her degree in something she didn't like. It was easy for her to be able to finish her degree here. All he had to do was find out what school get her transferred to an online school and she would be able to finish up in no time. He was about to say so when she changed the subject. Not wanting to make her cry again he let her. "Umm I don't know the cooks make sure the kitchen is stocked." he said and shrugged. "I never did think about it. Since I can't go out in the light well that kind of puts a damper on it but anything you like I can have the maids get for you." he said and smiled gently finishing his food helping her clean up. Zane leaned against the counter and looked over at her as they finished. "Would you like to go for a walk?" he asked.

Thibault finished his tea before getting up and changing into his pajamas, which consisted of plaid pajama pants and a simple white tshirt. He glanced over shoulder at her when she entered, smiling warmly despite how ill he felt, not wanting her to worry. "I left the lights dimmed for you in case you needed them.. I also brought a few extra blankets in, just in case." He smiled, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead before offering her his hand to lead her to bed.

Rosemarie smiled when he asked her to go on a walk, nodding excitedly. "Of course! Where are we going to go tonight?" She asked, drying her hands on a towel. She was excited to see where he would bring her tonight, knowing there must be so many interesting places throughout the castle.

Cassia nodded. "Thank you." she said softly and took his hand and let him lead her to the grand bed in an even darker room. The only light was the candles and the glow of the fire in the other room. Cassia moved to the side of the bed he had showed was hers. Cassia blushed and slipped out of her robe and set it on a chair nearby. She turned to him her pale skin catching the light of the fire as she walked towards him in the small pajama set she wore. Cassia stepped closer to the bed and looked up at him. She wondered what he was thinking now looking at her now.

Zane grinned. "Well it's jus a little path on the grounds through the woods around us." He said and offered her his hand. They walked out of the mansion and down a little bath into the woods. "The woods get thicker. There is this little spot I am wanting to take you to where the trees grew around the sitting stones." he said as they walked before his mind turned to how to tell her everything she wanted to know and he wanted to tell her. He didn't want to scare her but perhaps the truth would be the best way to go about it. Being completely honest would get it all over with at least.

Thibault smiled kindly as he watched her, pulling back the blankets for her to get into bed. He seemed rather calm, but internally he was freaking out, thinking her so beautiful, her scent and the sound of her heartbeat driving him insane. "I'll leave the candles burning for a while, and someone will come put them out once we're asleep." He explained, climbing into bed with a sigh, settling against the pillows.

Rosemarie nodded, looking around the woods in awe. "So, were you going to tell me something..?" She asked nervously, looking up at him.

Cassia nodded and slipped into the bed. She slipped under the covers and took the covers pulling them over cuddling in. She slipped down until she was laying back on the pillow and looked over at Thibault. Cassia blushed turning towards him and lay there silently her heart hammering in her chest. She was nervous. Who wouldn't be? When was the last time he had ever had a woman just sleep in his bed and she had never been so unclothed near a man let a long sleep beside one. She bit her lip gently wondering if he was going to say anything else.

Zane frowned and took a deep breath nodding. "Yes I just am not sure where to begin. I am not sure you will believe me at first." he said knowing the last part she would have to believe the first part for. Zane ran a hand through his hair as they walked down the path with the lanterns guiding them. "When you where young what kind of fairy tales did your parents share with you?" he asked thinking maybe he could start there.

Thibault settled into bed, tugging the blankets around him before closing his eyes. "Goodnight, Cassia.." he murmured before he drifted off to sleep. On any other night he might have stayed awake talking, or pulled her close and snuggled and kissed her, but the boost he had gotten from feeding from Jasmine had begun to wear off, and he was too weak and tired to remain awake.

Rosemarie frowned as she listened to him, shaking her head a little. "I don't understand... What do fairy tales have to do with anything?" She asked, watching him for a moment before looking back out over rhe path, taking in the beautiful scene.

"Goodnight Thibault." Cassia said softly and watched him sleep. She stayed awake a while before she couldn't keep her eyes open any longer and her lids fell closed. She slept deeply for the rest of the night and most of the day. It was reaching 4pm when she woke. Cassia was surprised when she sat up in the dark room. There wasn't even so much light from under the door. She bit her lip and blinked letting her eyes adjust until she could see Thibault. She moved closer to him snuggling into his sleeping still form. Cassia wondered how tonight would go. She was sure that he wouldn't be able to wait any longer for an answer. She had decided and honestly she wanted to slip out of the room and go talk with Mistress Madeline before the night came. Cassia waited a while before slipping out of the bed taking her robe and wrapping herself in it. She moved as quietly to the door as she could looking back at Thibault before slipping out entering a slightly lit room. Once she closed Thibault's door the other popped open and she stepped into the room she was use to only the sun was peeking through the sides of the curtains. Cassia slipped out of the room and down the hall to her room.

Cassia dressed and freshened up slipping into her old uniform she was so use to wearing. She was sure that this would be the last time. She would be the Mistress of the Master of the house. Cassia's heart hammered in her chest hard as she walked through the halls before coming to Madeline. "Mistress Madeline... night we talk?" she asked softly.

Zane frowned. "Hummer me Rosemarie." he said and rubbed his neck wondering if she would take this as terribly as he was expecting her to. Zane walked along the path. He would glance over at the beautiful woman walking with him and hoped that if nothing else she would give him the bent of listening to him all the way through before deciding he was nuts.

Thibault slept soundly, draping an arm over Cassia in the night, finding her presence next to him comforting even in sleep. He remained sound asleep while she snuck from the room, absolutley exhausted, only waking close to 10pm, well after when he usually woke up. He groaned tiredly and frowned when he saw Cassia was not beside him, although he wasn't surprised, sitting up and stretching in bed before sliding out from under the blankets, grabbing his dressing robe as he shuffled along to the other room, hoping Madeline Cassia might be there.

Rosemarie frowned but nodded, looking at him worriedly. "Sorry... I mean, I guess they talked about fairies and princesses and knights and dragons and witches and all that... Why? Are you a witch?" She teased lightly, but was obviously nervous about where the conversation was going, fiddling with her fingers anxiously.

Madeline and Cassia talked for hours going over everything. Madeline even went out and picked up something special for her. Once night came Madeline wondered through the castle until it was about time she thought Thibault might be awake. She slipped into the room and smiled seeing him. "Master. You are awake." she said softly. "How are you feeling tonight?" she asked him. For this all to work well he would need more strength tonight. He would have to feed again. Cassia had confessed all to Madeline and Madeline agreed with her. She knew Cassia was to nervous to speak with Thibault now but that was a small matter. Madeline handed him a glass of tea as he sat. "I have news Master." she spoke as she stood beside him.

Zane laughed. "No I am not a witch. Did thy ever tell you the stories of the creatures from the underworld?" he asked. "Demons, werewolves and vampires?" he asked. Zane knew it was unlikely she had not heard of such stories. He watched her fiddle with her fingers. He pressed on. "I am a monster of the damned Rosemarie. I am a vampire. I was turned 300 years ago." he said finally and stopped turning looking at her wondering how she was going to take this.

Thibault moved to his chair, taking a seat with a sigh. "I've been better.. I'm sure I look awful." He ran a hand over his face, thanking her for the tea before taking a long sip, hoping it would help his hunger. He looked up when she mentioned that she had news, looking at her anxiously. "Is it about Cassia? Is she alright? She was here when I fell asleep, but I dont know when she left.." he sighed, assuming that the news wasn't good.

Rosemarie nodded a little when he first mentioned vampires, but when he confessed to being one she frowned, stopping to stare at him. "What? You're... You're joking.. Right?" She asked nervously, although deep down she knew it to be true. "Y-You... You couldn't be, you must be joking, lying.."

Madeline nodded. “You do have me concerned Sir and you will need your strength. I don’t think we have another day to spare.” She frowned as he rambled on about Cassia. “Sir Cassia is fine. She just needed to speak with me and didn’t want to wake you. She is young and has much to learn plus her scedual is still shifting. In fact she asked me to speak with you. After all she has learned the on thing you did not tell her was how the bonding would begin. I have been preparing her all day. She has made her decision Sir and she is agreeing to it all. She is frightened of the unknown but her heart is to soft to turn you away. Plus she has attraction towards you. You will need to get your strength. I think that you should not risk a thing and take every possible bond with her. She is prepared for it.” Madeline said looking at him hoping he completely understood her meaning.

Zane frowned. “Is it really all that surprising?” He asked and frowned not wanting to really have to prove it. He sighed. “Do I need to prove it?” He asked and stepped back from her afraid of frightening her. He didn’t know what he would do if she ran from him. Zane needed her to know more but maybe she needed to only deal with the one truth for now.

Thibault frowned faintly as he listened, glad that Cassia had agreed, although she couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. "I dont want to force her to do anything, Madeline... And I know she thinks she's ready for everything, but she's a child, and if I take advantage of her naivete then she'll come to resent me." He sighed in frustration, setting his tea down to look out the window at the moon.

Rosemarie frowned a little as she watched him, heart hammering fearfully in her chest as she studied him, shaking her head a little. "No... S-So what? You've kidnapped me so that you can eat me? How many other people have you done this to?"

Madeline nodded. "I know Sir but she doesn't feel forced. She doesn't feel ready so she knows this is a lot but she feels you are flexible enough that your relationship can grow over time. Give her the benefit. You gave her the option and she is making an informed decision. Don't push her away because you care so much for her. Let her make up her own mind. You have given her every opportunity to turn away. She knows the options she has." Madeline said softly. "Talk with her but Sir do not take to much longer you have so little time Sir and you will need all that energy for her. She is naïveté and will need you to give her all of the energy you have left."

Zane frowned. "If I where going to force myself on you wouldn't I have already? I did not kidnap you I bought you from them and given you a good life than you would have otherwise. I did not pick you out of the street. I picked you out of their list of girls. I have never done this before. If I had I would have figured out a better way to say all this. I am not going to hurt you Rosemarie. You have to believe me on that." he said.

Thibault nodded weakly, sighing a little as he looked at her. "Alright.. Send her in, please." He asked, too weak to go to her himself. "Thank you, Madeline.. for all your help."

Rosemarie frowned, unable to help the tears leaking down her cheeks as she looked at him. "Th-Then why am I here? I-If you're not going to kill me..?" She asked worriedly, taking a few nervous steps away from him.

Madeline bowed out and sent for Cassia looking her over and nodded kissing her cheek before leaving her to go face her choice.
Cassia was dressed and waiting on Mistress Madeline to return. When she was called for her stomach jumped. Cassia said goodbye to her old life as she walked down the hall to Thibault's room. She knocked softly for the last time and then entered. Cassia walked towards him the moonlight catching on her dress. She had pulled her hair back into stunning black curls that rolled down her bare back leaving her neck completely exposed except for the string that held up her dress. Cassia walked over to him. "Thibault?" she called softly. She wondered if he would be able to get through this night or if she had waited to long.

Zane frowned wishing he could push her tears away. Zane sighed. "For company and to hopefully convince you at some point to bond with me. It sounds much scarier than it is. It's kind of like a marriage, it's hard to have a marriage with a mortal but it is the closest thing we have as vampires. I will tell you more about it when you feel you are ready but I want you to know I won't do anything until you are comfortable. I simply ask you let me try to win you over." he said softly and held out his empty hand. "Please Rosemarie allow me to prove that not all monsters hurt people." he said softly.

Thibault inhaled sharply when he saw her, smiling weakly as he watched her enter. "Hello Cassia... You look beautiful.. I hope you slept well?" He asked, moving to stand, although he had to keep a hand on the back of his chair to support himself. "Madeline said that you two spoke.. Is that right?"

Rosemarie sniffled, scowling a little as she wiped at her eyes, shaking her head a little. She felt like she was going to be sick. "No.. No... Do I even have a choice? What happens to me if I don't agree to marry you? Will you just give me back to those men who took me? Or just kill me and find another girl to force into marriage?" she frowned as she looked at him, glaring slightly before looking away, trying to wipe the tears from her eyes. "Just.. Just go ahead and bond, or whatever.. I don't care, it's not like I have a choice.." She felt like he'd lied to her, especially because he'd said that he hadn't taken her because he wanted something from her, when that was clearly not the case.

Cassia smiled softly her heart beating so quickly. "I did thank you and I hope you did as well." she said her voice even despite her worries. When he asked if she had spoken with Madeline Cassia blushed looking down and nodding. "I didn't know how to approach the subject again. I can see you aren't doing well despite the extra feedings and sleep." she said softly. "I have made my choice Thibault." she said softly.

Zane shook his head. "No you do have a choice. I am sure I have several more years to find someone else I am able to bond with. Just because those are my intensions does not mean anything. It is your choice. It can not be anything but your choice." he said and then shook his head. "I am sorry I see now taking you out here was the wrong choice. Let me escort you back to our room and I will let you rest the night. I told you rosemarie nothing you can do would ever make me return you to those men." he said and sighed. "I am not going to harm you." he said and then sighed heading back towards the house stopping after a ways and looking back at her. "Unless you would like to sleep outside." he said and then ushered towards the mansion.

Thibault nodded a little, rubbing his neck nervously. "Yes, well.. I'm sure I'll be fine." He forced a small smile, unable to help the nervous look that passed over his features as he watched her. "Madeline had said you had made up your mind.. And?"

Rosemarie followed him back within sight of the mansion, which when she saw she quickly ran past him and inside, hurrying to her room and slamming the door. In her rush she had somehow cut her bare foot on a sharp rock or a piece of broken glass somewhere, leaving a small trail to her room. Once she noticed it she quickly grabbed a rag to stop the bleeding, sitting on the floor near her window sobbing as she held the rag to her foot, terrified of what would happen to her.

Cassie shook her head as he lied to her. It was so obvious it wasn't worth lying about. She pressed a hand down her dress as he asked her what her decision was.He already knew and wanted to hear her say it. How did you say something like that. "I would like to accept your offer... if... if it's still available." she blushed and rubbed her arm and peeked up at him.

Zane sighed as Rosemarie ran past him. He could smell her blood the moment her foot was cut. It infested the house causing him to grow thirsty. He sighed and went to the kitchen and pulled out the first aid kit. He walked to her room and knocked before entering. "You are hurt." he said and showed her the first aid kit. "Please sit so I might mend it." he said and frowned. He wasn't going to just let her bleed and be hurt when he could help her. Zane set the kit on the bed and pulled out the bandaids. "What did you step on?" he asked softly sighing. "Rose!" he ran his hand through his hair. "I refuse to let you be hurt and not help you. Just like when I healed your lip the first night you where here I can handle myself enough to care for you." Zane said and ran a hand through his hair. "Now please sit and let me fix you." he said knowing this time he probably wouldn't use his fangs only because it would scare her so he would just do it the human way once he was sure she was going to be okay.

Thibault couldn't help but smile, nodding as he held a hand out to her, pulling her close once she had taken it. "Of course, Cassia.." he murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips before calling for Madeline, needing her to oversee and witness the vows they were going to give.

Rosemarie frowned when he came into her room, shaking her head as she turned away from him. "I'm fine. Go away." She mumbled, hugging her knees to her chest as she hid her face, wanting to be alone. She tensed when he shouted at her and ordered her to come over to him, remaining seated for another moment before she forced herself up and moved over to him, not daring to look at him and her shoulders trembling in fear, heart beating wildly in her chest.
