Isaac, hoping that he wasn't overstepping reached across the table to grab her hand. "Things really are different this time around. I know that sounds totally stupid and maybe like I'm just saying what you want to hear so you'll trust me but I promise that's not what this is. You know who I am now. You know I'm a werewolf and that I can't change that. Like it or not you're kind of a part of this whole pack dynamic. And that means you know things when they're going on not months later when they're over and done with. We also don't have my father to deal with anymore. Which by the way, when he found you here that night he locked me in the freezer for at least a day. It could've been longer or maybe shorter but it felt like forever. That was the punishment I always got when I did things he really didn't like. That's why I freaked out so much earlier when I was locked in that closet with Allison. All I could think of were all the times I was locked in that freezer unable to get out, barely able to breathe. And the longer I was in there the smaller everything got," he said sighing. He truly couldn't have been more satisfied knowing that he didn't ever have to worry about being afraid of his father anymore.
He couldn't help but laugh softly at her just wanting to be reminded that he never had a thing going with Erica. "Trust me, there was never anything between me and Erica. She was totally more into Boyd than she was me. And I was totally more into you than I was her,"
"Our problem here is that we're trying to focus on too many things at once," Nessa said sighing and pushing her fingers through her hair. "I mean look at how big this pack is, there's both of us. Scott, Lydia, Chloe, Isaac, we could pull in Boyd and Cora, and if we could get her on board Allison. What we need to do is divide and conquer. Because right now we're all over the place trying to save everyone. And it's not working because there's too much going on for us to focus on what we need to do," she told him biting her lip. Literally, at that moment Nessa couldn't have been more thankful that her mom was coming. Because she really needed her mother's guidance, she also needed one of her moms amazing home remedies to help her feel better. Not that Beacon Hills Memorial wasn't a great place, it was just Nessa really hated hospitals and she knew she'd heal much better in the comfort of her home than in a hospital.
"Scott thank you for saving me," Nessa said with a bright smile when he walked into the room.
"It really wasn't any trouble, I'm just glad you're okay," he told her.
Nessa laughed softly, "I am. Or at least I will be, once my mom gets into town tomorrow I'll be even better because she'll get me out of this hospital and I'll actually feel much more relaxed. Places like this just give me the chills," she said not really wanting to go into more details about why or how much she actually loathed hospitals. "There's something actually that I need to tell you so it's good that you stopped by," she told him before going right ahead and explaining how she'd seen his eyes turn red when he was trying to get through the mountain ash, how he was destined to be a true alpha, what that even meant, and of course how she came from a family of emissaries and she was his to help him and the pack.
