Allison grunted, pulling the sword out of the bloodsucker in front of her and slashed again, cleanly cutting through it neck. She cleaned the blade off onto the creatures dingy clothing and clicked her tongue, calling for her cat, Lucy, who, as usual, had found a cozy spot to hide during the action. "Come on, kitty. Ferals wont won't give us the information we need." Sheathing the weapon, Allison stepped over the body and ducked underneath a falling support beam of the dilapidated barn she had made her home the night before. It was day three after leaving the rebel camp that had taken her in while she healed. the cut on her right shoulder burned from the exertion but she was confident it wouldn't reopen. Tracking feeders wasn't the easiest task in the world but it was better than being dinner for one of them.

The vampire she was after lead a small group of the bastards near the southern side of the city. Going around took longer but it was by far safer. There were few places left inside city limits that were even relatively safe, especially at night, and she didn't plan of dying until Savros did. She'd heard talk of a woman who could turn them back to human but was fairly certain it was just the hope of an oppressed human race. Hope is the one thing that can drive all people but her own hope was to get revenge before the met her own inevitable demise.

There was a small house not too far from the barn she had just left behind and, while unlikely, she was hoping there might be some food left by the previous owners after The Rising. Only one way to find out. She made her way through the field, one hand on a hunting knife strapped to her waist and Lucy trotting along beside her. She was honestly surprised the cat had survived Savros' attack with her but the golden tabby had stuck close, the only family she had left and she was grateful for it.
Marcus snapped his head around when he heard the first howl. They were only halfway to their next destination and it's bad enough to be a group of humans in Seattle but when you're known to travel with the one woman who can really make a difference? Walking through hell would be easier. Vanessa was still God-knows-where but that didn't seem to make a difference to the actual demons that prowled the streets. "We need to move," he said quietly after two more ferals responded to the first, these closer.

Marcus made a b-line for the trees, preferring the cover it offered over the waist high weeds they were wading through. The howls sounded again, this time closer. He pressed his back to the thick trunk of one of the many pines surrounding them and looked to his partners, guns at the ready. The monsters were close. He could hear them rusting through the underbrush, sniffing them out. Slowly, he leaned, glancing around the trunk trying to catch a glimpse of what was hunting them down. He could only see one and was willing to bet the other two weren't far.

With a nod to Axel he stepped out of cover and took aim, taking a few shots at the vampire, sending it down for only a moment before another it was back up and another was running at him. Two more shots at the first, one of them a headshot but he wasn't sure if it was enough, and he slung his weapon at the one charging him, clocking it in the face. He stomped down, hard, his foot making a considerable difference to the the already blood covered face. He pulled a knife and stabbed it straight through the fucker's eye, certain that it wasn't getting back up before directing his attention to the action that was over almost as soon as it began. "You guys alright?" he asked, looking between Axel and Griffin.

Growling and hissing was heard. The growling grew louder and closer, soon turned into shrieking. Chaos. Absolute chaos was the scene that had fallen over Seattle. "No! Stop! Please!" A woman was heard screaming. A deformed male was seen biting into a young woman's neck. Erika quickly closed the door before pulling Byron close to her. "It's okay. " She said, she didn't believe her own lie so there was no way that Byron would believe it either. Rising to her feet, Erika went to the hallway where her father's gun was kept in the closet. The sibling duo had been on their own for quite some time. A week before her 18th birthday, a drunk driver took the life of their parents. Given her status as a legal adult, Erika was able to take on guardianship over her brother. A loud crash was then heard followed by a yell and screeching. Loading the gun, Erika returned to her baby brother only to find him being attacked. Without a second thought, Erika cocked the rifle and fired a single shot.

The hissing sound grew louder before Erika slowly opened her eyes, slamming them shut instantly as the harsh rays of sunlight blinded her momentarily. Gaining a clear focus, Erika shot up and quickly began swatting her chest at the realization of a rattlesnake laying upon her torso. Rising to her feet, Erika took a look at her surroundings. Aside from the snake, there wasn't any direct danger. Erika then took a brief moment to go over the supplies in her backpack before taking out her notebook. It had been 3 years since this all began, since her brother was attacked and turned, and in that amount of time, she's studied the vampires, via her brother.

Prior to leaving she spent months filling gallon bottles with blood, as she knew the adventure ahead would be a long one, and she didn't want to come back to find her brother dead. She timed how long it takes him to finish a gallon, and how long he could go without blood. Sometimes she felt as if she were torturing him by forcing him to live his life like this, but part of her also knew that if there was a chance for him to make it out of this, unkind things had to be done. Syncing her watch, Erika then zipped up her backpack before continuing on her mission.

A howl was heard as it ranged throughout the woods, dancing amongst the tree leaves, causing Griffin to narrow his eyes. The male furrowed his eyebrows as his eyes scanned the tree lines. It seemed that no matter how far ahead they seemed, the ferals were always on their tail. "And here I thought the daytime was safer." He muttered out before taking the hunting knife out of his waistband and holding it at his side. He saw Marcus take cover behind one tree, his feet moving backwards towards the cover of some bushes. His plan was to use one of his partners as bait, and then to ambush the feral, tackling them at the legs, slicing a tendon here and there, before delivering the last blow.

However, those plans were interrupted as he saw a feral was about to attack Axel from behind. Leaping into action, Griffin tackled the beast and the pair rolled around for a bit before Griffin plunged his knife directly into the feral's cranium. "You're welcome. " He said with a slight nod before using the back of his hand to wipe off the blood that splattered across his face. Rising to his feet, Griffin looked at Marcus upon hearing his question. "Just peachy. " He didn't understand why this had been going on for so long if there was a supposed cure. He at least expected to see some results by now. Turning back to Axel, Griffin released a deep breathe, "where to now?" He then pondered aloud.
