Aveline blinked but she smiled slightly and nodded. "Yeah, I do. Do you have your phone on you or should I just go grab a pen and paper to write it down?" she asked, watching him for a moment, admittedly a little glad for the excuse to see him again in the future. She smiled, though, peering at her car. "I guess she's not so much of a traitor, then."

"I can understand that," Sam agreed with a nod, offering a smile as he took her in, constantly amazed by her. The more time he spent with her, the more he found himself not wanting to leave her presence. "So, is your love of kids what made you be a nurse in the children's ward?" Mostly, he wanted to keep watching the way her eyes lit up when she talked about the kids.

Dean smiled, handing his phone to her with no hesitation. "I know this is a long stretch," he started. "But uh, would you like to get a coffee with me later?" He asked. "The garage isn't too far from this cafe, my brother goes there for his lunch breaks and I figured..." He started, suddenly feeling bashful, an emotion that Dean Winchester, the friggin Dean Winchester, wasn't very familiar with, but Aveline had already left a huge impact, and he was keen to make a good impression and hoping with every fibre of his being she said yes.

Niamh laughed, ducking her head slightly. "I actually started out studying to be a veterinarian, but that was a job that was too sad." She shook her head, rolling her eyes at herself. "So, I went to the next best thing, and well, I guess I'm just naturally great with kids." She shrugged, glancing at the clock again. "I should probably go." She bit her lip sadly. "But uh, it was really great meeting you, Sam." Taking a pen from her pocket, she used her napkin to write her number onto, sliding it to Sam. "Hopefully, I'll see you again soon." She squeezed his shoulder as she walked past, leaving the cafe.

Aveline smiled, taking the phone as she input her contact information, saving it, though she blinked as she listened to him, looking over at him, her cheeks warming. For a moment, she wasn't sure what to say, but the chance to see Dean more made it pretty easy for her to make a decision. "I'd really like that," she assured him with a small grin, holding his phone out to him, "I'm betting the cafe you're talking about is the one I was actually supposed to meet my friend at before my car decided 'nope.' When you decide when to meet up, just let me know and I'll make sure to be there, regardless of my mean car."

Sam smiled gently, unable to help but to reach out to place his hand over hers, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I can understand that," he assured her, "Being a veterinarian would be hard for anybody, I think." He nodded slightly. "At least you seem to love your job now, though, and that's what matters." Hearing her talk about leaving, though, he was about to ask for her number, but before he could, she'd already written it down and walked out. Chuckling, he looked at the napkin and tapped in the contact before calling her, peering at the entrance to the cafe as she walked out, not even caring if he seemed too eager for calling her immediately.

Dean smiled with Aveline's confirmation that she'd like to meet up with him again, accepting his phone back with a gentle smile. "I'll text you at about six with details?" He asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't being an inconvenience in any way, or that he wasn't interrupting her daily routine. "My treat."

Niamh answered her phone as she walked down the street, laughing. "Already Sam, hm?" She teased lightly. "Hey, I'm not complaining." She smiled, walking the short distance back to the hospital, changing from her outside shoes to her work shoes, hanging her jacket up in her locker.

"Alright," Aveline decided with a broad grin, feeling her excitement growing with the whole idea of spending more time with Dean. "I'm looking forward to it, then. Really." There wasn't a point in hiding that, especially since Dean had been the one to bring it up in the first place.

"Well, you left before I could say anything," Sam pointed out with amusement as he leaned back in his seat, though he eventually stood up to order Dean the sandwich he'd promised. "Because if you had given me the chance to say anything, I would have given ideas for how we could have seen each other again soon."

Dean smiled, nodding in agreement. "Me too." He was honest, wanting Aveline to know that he really was looking forward to seeing her again. "But uh, if this one," he tapped the hood to her car with a smile. "Let's you down, I can come and pick you up." He offered with a smile. "I better go back to work." He looked at Aveline again, just taking her in, the fact that he spent any time with her at all making his whole day so much better. "I'll text you when I get back to the garage?"

Niamh laughed, shaking her head as she leaned against her locker. Smiling as Sam mentioned seeing each other again soon, she looked at the clock. "Well, you have three minutes to woo me over." She bit her lip at the thought, her whole demeanor changing when she realised that she could see him again, just enjoy being in his company, something that felt so right. "Shoot."

Aveline grinned slightly with the mention of it and nodded. "I'll make sure to do that," she promised him, chewing on her lip as she took him in, happy with the idea that things had turned out this way, despite that it was because her car hated her. "Yeah, okay." She nodded, smiling as she watched him. "I'll look forward to the text, too, then."

Sam smiled as he paid for the sandwich he'd bought Dean and headed out to head to the garage. "Well, then, how about we go out for dinner sometime?" he offered up, "Any place you want, any time you want. I'd love a chance to get to know you more." And to be around her more - he would have said as much, but he was already being forward, he didn't want to be overbearing.

Dean smiled, picking up his tools. "It's a date." He didn't understand where all of this confidence was coming from - of course, he picked up women frequently back in his own timeline, and yet there was something about Aveline that just drew him in, and he was keen to make a good impression. "See you later, Aveline." He placed a gentle hand on her arm before walking down her driveway, excited to get back to the garage, unlocking the door, offering Sam a wave when he saw him. Sitting in one of the chairs in the office, Dean took out his phone, dropping Aveline a text. How's the car feeling after her check up?

Niamh smiled at Sam's confidence, finding it so attractive. "I'm down for that." She nodded. Pretending to be in thought, Niamh made a little humming noise, wondering when was the best time to take up the offer - not wanting to seem too eager, but she thought that if he felt the same way she did, he wouldn't mind at all. "There's a cute little place, not far from the cafe." She explained. "Good food, even better company." She smiled. "So if seven o'clock is good for you, I'll consider it a date."

Sam smiled to Niamh's words, though it soon turned into a grin as he listened to her agree to the idea. "I think that's a wonderful idea," he told her, "Should I pick you up and we can head there together? Or would you prefer to meet there?" He knew there were some people who preferred the independence and he wasn't sure if she'd rather walk or not. Seeing Dean, he nodded slightly, tossing his brother the sandwich, but focused on the phone.

Aveline grinned, feeling her heart swell when she felt his hand on her arm, and she smiled, watching him leave. Turning, she climbed into her car, planning to go get some food, though she was sure that Niamh was already gone. When she'd gotten to the cafe, she got the text, and she smiled as she replied while heading in. She's still running, so there's that, at least. Thank you, Dean.

Niamh smiled as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "I could meet you there?" And although she wanted Sam to pick her up, just wanting any excuse to spend as much time with him as she could, she decided that being so full on wouldn't be the best idea, just in case he didn't feel as strongly as she did. "I'll see you tonight, Sam." She smiled. "I'll look forward to it."

Dean raised his eyebrows at Sam, hinting to the phone in his hand, but staying silent as his own phone vibrated. Grinning when he saw Aveline's name in the notification, Dean instantly got to replying, unable to pull himself away from the pull that was radiating from Aveline's. I'm glad that she and I get on. He laughed at his own stupid comment. Gonna shine up my car and start working on this Mini, glad I've got you to keep me company.

"If you're sure," Sam told her with a smile, ignoring his brother's look, though he did look over when Dean looked, partially convinced that his brother was laughing at him, but he ignored it in favor of continuing to talk to Niamh. "Just text me where exactly to meet you, in that case. And, if you decide you'd rather have the ride, make sure to let me know. I'm looking forward to spending more time with you, Niamh."

Aveline smiled, ordering herself a sandwich before she leaned back in her seat and focused on her phone, saving Dean's number before she replied. Just don't let her trick you! She'll have your heart, then crush it. she sent back but grinned slightly when she got the other text. I'm getting something to snack on to tide me over. I was supposed to meet my friend here, but it seems like she's already gone back to work, so I'm enjoying your company, too.

Niamh bit her lip. "Alright, I'll text you the details now." She smiled. "What's the dress code?" She teased. "I don't wanna show up under dressed." She laughed, not wanting to tear herself away from Sam's voice, shrugging her cardigan off as she held her phone between her ear and shoulder, throwing it into her locker. "I can't wait to see you again, Sam." She confessed, wondering why it came so easily to open up to him.

Dean bit his lip, wondering if he should offer Aveline to come to the garage. Well uh, it's only my brother and I at the garage if you want to hang out with us? He took a deep breath as he sent the text, not wanting to come off too strong, but unable to stop himself. Watching Sam, he could tell that something had happened for him too, and he couldn't help but think that he preferred this life to his old one.

"Well, you're the one who picked the place, so I guess it depends on how nice that place is?" Sam told her with a smile, "Though, honestly, I'm sure you'll look amazing no matter what you wear." And, he meant it, he really did. He just wanted to make sure that she knew that, though. "I can't wait to see you again, either. I'll make sure we enjoy ourselves, especially you."

Aveline blinked when she got the text and chewed on her lip as she thought about it. I'm waiting on my food, but maybe I'll head over after I get it and pay? she offered before blinking, realizing something. Oh, crap, speaking of pay, how much do I owe you for working on my car?

"It's a pretty laid back place." Niamh explained. "I can't wait." She bit her lip happily. "Alright, I gotta head off, but I'll see you later, Sam." She smiled. Hanging up before she said anything embarrassing, Niamh texted Aveline quickly. Heading back to work, but oh my god, so much to tell you.

Dean smiled at Sam, raising his eyebrows. "So, who's Niamh?" He asked with a teasing tone, texting Aveline back straight away. Sounds good, just walk right in. Reading her other text, Dean smiled. On the house, don't worry. It was just a routine thing, wasn't too much effort. He smiled.

Sam grinned slightly but put his phone away after she'd hung up, though he blinked to his brother's question, looking over. "I met her at the cafe," he told his brother honestly, "And... Honestly, she's amazing, Dean. She's gorgeous, she's kind, she's got such a good heart, she's the literal embodiment of perfection."

Aveline smiled slightly as she read the first text, but blinked to the next. Are you sure? I don't mind paying, Dean. I don't want you to think I'm taking advantage of you or anything. But, then, her food had arrived and she paid for it and left a tip before she stood up, heading out with her sandwich. Seeing Niamh's text, though, she grinned. Really? What happened? Sorry I missed lunch with you, a lot happened.

Dean grinned. "I met someone too." He told Sam. "Her name is Aveline, and God, Sam, she's perfect." He exhaled, sitting back in his chair. "Alright, maybe I overreacted about falling into this universe." He mumbled, not wanting to admit that he was happy to stay for a long, long time if it meant striking up something special with Aveline, texting her back as his phone vibrated. I don't think that at all, Aveline, don't worry. He smiled.

Niamh sat at the nurses desk, thinking about Sam. I met a guy... She texted her best friend with a grin. He's tall, ridiculously handsome, in a suit, long hair... he's a lawyer, and oh my god, Aveline, I could get lost in his eyes. She blinked when she realised she was ranting on about Sam. So, what happened with your car? I'll forgive you this once.

Sam blinked with the mention of it but chuckled. "And here you were, complaining about it since the moment we got here," he said, shaking his head slightly, though he smiled to himself. "I'm seeing Niamh tonight, after work. I'm really looking forward to it, even with the knowledge that, eventually, we'll probably have to go back home." He wanted to enjoy his time with Niamh while he could, though.

If you're sure... Aveline sent back to Dean, though she still felt bad about it. Still, she focused on Niamh's text, then. Ooh, you met a guy? He must be pretty amazing if you're talking about him this much. The mechanic I went to, Dean, he did an amazing job, got her started almost immediately. He's so funny and just unbelievably attractive and just perfect, Niamh. I'm seeing him again later.

Dean looked to Sam. "I - yeah." He didn't want to tell Sam that he didn't want to go back, just wanting to stay with Aveline, the thought of leaving her making his stomach flip in the worst way. "I'm seeing Aveline, too." He smiled. "Man, who would of thought? Winchesters, crushing on girls." Dean laughed, texting Aveline back. I'm sure, like I said, routine thing.

Niamh grinned at Aveline's texts. Looks like we both lucked out, huh? She smiled. What a day... She smiled, going to do her rounds, texting Sam a selfie of herself messing around with a stethoscope when she got back to the nurses station. Bored.

Sam nodded slightly with the mention of it. "Yeah, it's definitely not what I was expecting," he admitted, "Especially on our first day here." He smiled weakly, worried about where this would go, but hopeful, too. Seeing the picture Niamh sent him, though, he grinned, shifting. Maybe bored, but definitely gorgeous. Sending the text, he shifted, saving the picture before showing it to Dean. "This is her."

Still! Anyways, I'm heading over now. Aveline sent Dean, smiling slightly with the thought of seeing him again already, but she looked back to Niamh's text. It looks like it. Who would have thought? Grinning slightly, she sent the text before she climbed into her car and began the drive to the garage.

Dean looked at the photo with a smile, noticing the stethoscope. "Typical of you to go for a nurse." He commented with a grin. "I swear, you always go medical, is there something you're not telling me?" He teased his brother. Seeing Aveline's text, Dean tidied around the office, wanting to make sure it was presentable for her to see. Excited to see you. Drive safe.

Niamh sent Sam a photo of her rolling her eyes, unable to wipe the smile off her face. Have you seen yourself? You were blessed with those looks, Sam. She smiled as one of her regular patients wondered over, pulling her onto her knee as she saw she was sleepy. Sending another photo to Sam, being sure to hide the girls' face, Niamh smiled. Hi, nice to meet you, Niamh Davis. Nurse, dog lover, kid pillow.
