i can't deny

Michael grinned broadly, glad to listen to her talk, just enjoying her voice and not wanting to part from her any time soon. "A few days. We have a venue a city over soon," he told her, "But, after that, we're back on the road to go to the next tour stop." Though, saying it out loud, he realized he was worried about parting from her, just wanting to stick around her.

Cecilia blinked but smiled slightly, ducking her head slightly. "Thank you," she told him with a small nod before peering up at him. "It's nice to meet you, Luke." She smiled, though, taking him in and shook her head. "You don't have to thank us, it's our job." Still, she shifted, shrugging. "About two years. I did house cleaning with my mom prior to that, though."

Arianna smiled as she saw Michael grinning, his voice the best thing she'd ever heard. "Must be a crazy lifestyle." She studied him carefully. knowing there were things that needed to be done, but not wanting to pull away from Michael, finding herself intrigued.

Luke nodded. "Do you like it here?" He asked, clearly curious. Luke had never really felt a connection to anyone before, but to Cecilia, he felt a pull, and he couldn't help but welcome it with open arms. But still, knowing he'd have to leave a few days later was a daunting thing for him to think about. Pushing the thought to the back of his mind, Luke smiled. "You busy?"

Michael grinned slightly and shrugged. "It is, but I love it," he admitted, watching her for a few moments, just enjoying her smile and her voice and basically everything about her. He wanted to spend as much time with her as he could. "It's pretty fun, though it can be exhausting, too." While he wouldn't normally admit that to anybody besides his bandmates, he felt like he could tell Arianna anything, really.

"I do," Cecilia confirmed with a smile, shrugging slightly. "I mean, there are creeps and everything, and it can be incredibly messy sometimes, but... I like the job, it's something I've just known how to do for years, and it pays well." She shrugged slightly, chewing on her lip a bit as she thought about it. "Not right now. We've finished up the rooms, but there is the chance that somebody may need something - like towels."

Arianna smiled sympathetically. "I can imagine." She told him gently. "My Mom always says that when you feel overwhelmed, hugging is a good way to let things out." She glanced at Luke with a grin, already teasing Michael

Luke nodded. "Well, uh, could we interest you in a coffee downstairs?" He asked, knowing Ashton and Calum were probably napping next door. "We can't sleep yet."

"Oh, hugging?" Michael asked, arching a brow in curiosity, "Is that you offering me a hug? Because, if so, I'll gladly accept, whether I'm overwhelmed or not." He grinned broadly, unable to really help himself in the moment.

"Well, I do love coffee and I'm kind of a caffeine addict," Cecilia joked with amusement, grinning slightly before she shrugged, "I'll ask Arianna what she thinks of the idea." She looked over to her friend, not even worried about interrupting her conversation. "You up for more coffee?"

Arianna laughed at Michael's confidence, opening her arms for him to have a hug, figuring why not? He probably wasn't going to stick around for long, and she just wanted to enjoy his presence being there. Looking to Cecilia, Arianna nodded. "Sure."

Luke grinned. "Coffee addict, huh? Me too." He grinned. "I'll provide the snacks if you provide the coffee." He joked, finding that talking with Cecilia was the easiest thing in the world.

Michael grinned, unable to help but to immediately wrap his arms around her, holding her close to himself, enjoying the way she so easily fit in his hold, and feeling perfectly content with her there. He looked over, though, with the suggestion of coffee and grinned, looking forward to it. "Come on, then," he told her gently. "Let's go get coffee."

"Oh, it's bad. I get actual headaches without it," Cecilia told him with amusement, though she whistled teasingly when she saw Arianna and Michael hugging, winking teasingly at her friend, before she nodded to Luke. "Sounds like a plan. Let's go, then." Grinning, she turned to lead the way out of the room.

Arianna blushed, pulling away fairly quickly after Cecilia whistled, laughing nervously. "Shut up." She stuck her tongue out at Cecilia, but still, she couldn't deny that she enjoyed the brief embrace she'd shared with Michael, feeling safe and content in his arms, ducking her head slightly at the thought. "Coffee sounds good."

Luke smiled at Cecilia, laughing at her caffeine addiction. Following Cecilia closely as she led the way, Luke watched her carefully, not wanting her to fall out of his line of sight, having found himself drawn to her. She seemed like the type that would be so easy to open up to, and with his line of work, Luke was keen to get to know her, despite their short stay.

Michael chuckled quietly, not too embarrassed by the other girl's whistling at them, but he grinned at Arianna, nudging her gently. "Are you alright?" he asked her with curiosity, his grin softening to a smile, because he genuinely wanted her to be okay, even with her friend's teasing. Seeing the others already walking, he moved to follow after them, though he stuck close to Arianna, enjoying how nice it felt to be near her.

Cecilia led the way to the hotel's dining area, glad that the place was at least not very busy overall today, so there wasn't really anybody inside outside of the workers. The area was small, mostly used for the breakfasts every morning, but she led the way to the coffee machine anyways, trying to avoid looking at Luke, worried about getting attached, but finding it difficult to not do so, anyways.

Arianna fell into stride easily with Michael, nodding. "Yeah, thanks." She smiled, nudging him back, just as gentle. "Are you okay?" She asked, tucking her hair behind her ear, looking to Michael and studying him. Leading Michael into the dining area, she chose a seat and grinned. "Two sugars, please." She grinned at Cecilia.

Luke smiled at Cecilia, finding himself so curious about her, attracted to her in every way. Being next to her felt right, and Luke couldn't deny it, something about her felt incredible, and he wondered how he could feel like that after such a short amount of time.

"Of course I'm okay," Michael assured her with a grin, "I just wasn't sure how much your friend had embarrassed you, so I wanted to check." He smiled, nudging her gently, mostly wanting the small contact without pressing her too much, but enjoying even that minimal contact, anyways. Seeing her sitting down, he moved to sit down, too, just taking her in, enjoying the sight of her, memorizing what he could.

"You're staring," Cecilia mentioned with amusement, having caught it out of the corner of her eyes, mostly because she'd wanted to get a peek at Luke without being too obvious, though she hadn't been expected to have his attention on her. "Got it," she called back to her friend as she worked on Arianna's drink first, making sure to make Arianna's how she liked it before she looked to Luke. "Any specific requests?"

Arianna laughed at Michael's words, smiling at him. "I'm just a shy dork." She smiled. "Cecilia, man, she takes every opportunity to embarrass me." She said loud enough for her friend to hear, clearly joking, her leg resting against Michael's. "What's your coffee preference?" She asked with a smile. Accepting her coffee from Cecilia, Arianna relaxed into the chair, holding the warm mug in her hands.

Luke smiled. "Sorry, I can't help it." He confessed. "You're beautiful." He didn't care if he was coming off to strong, or being too forward - he had limited time to spend with Cecilia, and, well, there was no point in lying to her about how gorgeous he found her. "Uh, I'll have whatever you're having, I'm not fussed." He shrugged lightly, committing her mannerisms to memory, smiling at how she moved so naturally.

Michael chuckled quietly in response, watching her. "Well, that's fine. Shy is adorable, so that attribute, plus your amazing name, suit you very well," he assured her quietly, smiling as he took her in, just glad to know that she didn't seem to put-off by him. He told Cecilia his coffee choice but quickly focused back on Arianna, watching her. "You're stunning, too, so I wonder if there's some attribute about you that reflects that as well." He grinned, surprised with how natural it felt to say something like that to her.

"Only because you tease me about Bon Jovi!" Cecilia shot back to her friend with a laugh, though her attention was easily caught by Luke's words, and she blinked, peering up at him with surprise, though she felt her cheeks warm almost immediately and she ducked her head to hide it. "That's sweet, thank you. You're not so bad yourself." She smiled, nudging him gently, but focused on making the coffee, fixing Michael's, then Luke's and her own.

Arianna's cheeks warmed up again as she blushed. "Michael," she laughed. "You dork, have you seen how gorgeous you are?" She asked, figuring if he could be so forward, she would be too, everything feeling so natural, like the conversation was destined to happen. Kicking her feet up into Michael's lap with a cheeky grin, Arianna smiled, sipping her coffee. "Hey, Bon Jovi is a hair God." She grinned at Cecilia.

Luke smiled as he saw Cecilia blush, but deciding not to bring it up, not wanting to embarrass her further. Taking his coffee, Luke placed his hand on top of hers on the counter, squeezing in gratitude. "Thank you." He waited for Cecilia to sit down, sitting beside her, just being next to her bringing a fantastic wave of comfort through him. "Man, Michael and I are so lucky that there were no towels." He teased.

Michael blinked several times, surprised with her words, though he could feel a broad grin spreading across his features as he watched her. "Yeah?" he asked quietly, watching her, "I'm really glad you think so. I must be pretty lucky, in that case." And, he couldn't help but to feel like this was the best day of his life, being granted the chance to meet Arianna. Smiling when she rested her feet on his lap, he rested a hand over her legs, watching her while he drank some of his coffee. "So, tell me more about yourself? If you don't mind, that is."

"Bon Jovi is the hair God," Cecilia chimed easily, though she blinked, distracted when she felt Luke's hand in hers and she swore she could feel her heart rate increase, lifting her gaze to watch him for a moment. Eventually, she smiled and shook her head. "You don't have to thank me," she assured, watching him for a while longer, feeling her heart swell in an unfamiliar way, before she made her way to the table to sit down, though she snorted. "You two are such liars, there were plenty of towels, I saw them when I put the new ones up!" She laughed.

Arianna laughed as she heard Cecilia's words, looking at Michael accusingly. "Oh, ran out of towels, huh?" She teased gently. "You smooth bastards." She shook her head in amusement, sipping her coffee. "What would you like to know?" She asked, focusing her attention back on Michael, watching him as she committed his face to memory. "I'm twenty one, I've worked her since I was seventeen, I'm the only child and, that's pretty much it." She shrugged. "Your turn, band boy." She grinned. "Gotta admit, never heard of you guys."

Luke beamed when he heard Cecilia snort with laughter, finding the sound to be the cutest thing in the whole universe. "Hey, we thought it was smooth!" He laughed, sipping his coffee. "We wanted to see you again and we didn't wanna come off as weird, we had to think fast." He chuckled, watching Cecilia. "Now that we've been caught out, how about you tell me a little bit about you?" He offered. "Or, whatever you wanna tell. No pressure."

"Hey, I had plenty more excuses to use, Luke's the one who called and used that one!" Michael quickly said, "Though, admittedly, that was one of the many excuses." He laughed quietly, but he was glad to hear her laughter, finding himself enjoying being around her and talking to her so easily, relaxing with just the thought of it. "Anything you'd like to tell me." He smiled, though, listening to her talk about herself, enjoying the sound of her voice. "I'm twenty two. Only child. Obviously a part of 5 Seconds of Summer," he listed off, "Oh? Really? Never?"

Cecilia smiled slightly, shaking her head. "Weird isn't so bad, though. At least it would have left a lasting memory. Though, I suppose, so does this," she admitted with a small grin, watching him, surprised with the fact that she could enjoy herself so easily around this guy, a guy she'd only just met and didn't really no. "Um, twenty. I have a younger sister, but we only have our mom. And I know nothing about you guys, except your names, but, honestly, those could be fake names." She grinned teasingly. "Your turn."

Arianna smiled at Michael, relaxing completely with him, their interactions feeling so second nature. "Uh, there's not much to me, I'm pretty boring. Only child, parents work a lot, spend more time here than at home." She shrugged her shoulders. "Never." She confirmed. "Little out of the loop." She smiled bashfully. "So, do you sing, play an instrument?"

Luke smiled, nodding along to Cecilia's words, feeling completely at ease with her, and he really, really didn't want to let the feeling go. "22, play guitar, sing." He listed off. "My name is Luke Hemmings." He winked. "And I'm a bit of a dork, if I'm honest. Like my dog, like my guitar, like writing music and that's pretty much it." He smiled at Cecilia, biting his lip.

"I don't think that's boring at all," Michael assured her with a smile, admittedly loving enjoying listening to her. "Does it bother you that your parents work a lot?" He wondered if it was lonely for her and that was why she spent so much time at the hotel. "Do they at least treat you good here?" He hoped they did. She seemed like such a genuinely good person, she deserved the best in life. "I play guitar and I sing." He grinned proudly.

Cecilia smiled as she listened to him, taking in everything that he was saying, processing it quietly so she didn't interrupt him at all. "Aren't we all dorks on the inside?" she asked jokingly but grinned slightly. "You've got a dog? What breed?" She leaned forward, mostly wanting to listen to him talk more, wanting to enjoy this while she could before the band would inevitably leave.

"It used to." Arianna shrugged. "But it's most of the time, so I've gotten used to it." She promised. "It got pretty lonely, so my boss lets me have a room here for practically nothing." She smiled. "That's how I met Cecilia." She explained. "But yeah, the staff here are amazing." She smiled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. "Oh?" She smiled. "Gotta admit, I'd love to hear you sing." She smiled.

"We are all dorks on the inside." Luke confirmed with a cheesy grin. "She's a cross breed, but she's mostly a bulldog, and she's perfect." He showed Cecilia a photo of Petunia. "She's called Petunia, I call her Piggy." He grinned. "She stays with Mum and Dad while I go on tour." He explained. "Are you quite close to your sister, then?" He asked, wanting to know more about Cecilia.
