Crash into Me

Ryker got up and went to take a shower. He didnt know what to tell Nova. He felt like she wanted him as much as he wanted her, but he wasnt sure. He got out and got dressed before he walked downstairs. "Good morning." He said to Nova, Claire and his mom. "Is dad in the garage?" He asked his mom. He walked out and found his dad under one of the cars. "Hey dad can i ask you something?" He asked.

Lennox rested her head on his shoulder, "So are you." She whispered. She rubbed his sides as she snuggled him. She had never told him that ever since she had first lost her viginity to him she had not slept with anyone else. She had never felt like she wanted anyone else. She kissed his neck softly, "I swear you keep getting better at that." She teased laughing a little.

Spence looked over seeing his sons shoes. “Yeah go for it... but first is this a under the car conversation or do you want me to pull out?” He asked grinning. “Or you want to join me down here?” He asked. Spence loved when him and his son talked.

Nova finished her food cleaned up her mess then got in her car and drove out to meet a friend.

Cameron chuckled and smiled kissing her head. “I try.” He teased and pulled out of her rolling them over and kissing her sweetly. “Let me get cleaned up.” He said and headed into the bathroom. Once he was done he came back out and snuggled her under the blankets. “Lennox...” he stroked her hair. He thought he should say something but didn’t know how to so he didn’t. “Tomorrow you mind if I take you out for a surprise?” He asked hoping she didn’t think it was lame.

Ryker thought for a moment, "Actually can you come out." He said. He waited for his dad to slide out from underneath the car. "i have a question." He said. He watched as his dad stood up, "When exactly did you know you liked mom?" He asked. He knew his parents were friends long before they got together

Lennox smiled as he snuggled her. She hugged him and rested her head on his chest. "Yea that would be a lot of fun." She said as she held his hand. Lennox closed her eyes as she listened to his heart beating.

Spence knew it was serious when his son asked him to come out. Spence slid out and whipped his hands listening to his son’s question. He set the rag down and nodded. He had a feeling this day would come. He was crushing on a friend of his the question was who. “It was complicated for us. I knew I liked her way before I had the courage to say anything about it and she still teased me for a long time after that. I think for me it was the little things. How she got so excited when she won a race, how she flipped her hair and would leave her cloths all over the loft. Really I don’t know how it happened. I just was sitting there one day and thought damn she had me whipped. From there I had to figure out what to do about it.” Spence knew prying to much wouldnt be helpful but he really wanted to know. “Ryker... there are several types of girls in this world, some you have to chase and others you have to just be there for. Girls think they are one when really they are the other. Good girls are not always easy and bad girls are really just hurting. So whatever is going on son just remember you have to look deeper than what you are seeing.”

Cameron smirked and kissed her head. “When are you going to let me teach you to climb?” He asked softly and stroked her hair with his free hand. He liked this part just as much as the other. To him this was worth the waiting for when she was soft and happy in his arms.

Ryker listened to his dad explain everything. He nodded, "Yea i get that." He said as he relaxed in the chair that was there. He normally talked to his dad because he didnt pry as much as his mom did. Ryker looked at the car, "So what are you doing to the car?" He asked, changing the subject.

Lennox smiled, "Well i enjoy being on the ground so probably not any time soon." She said as she looked at him. "Why do you want to teach me so badly?" She asked.

Spence smiled and nodded clasping his shoulder then turning towards the car. "Well I'm just tinkering with some of the wires and such." he shrugged. "Really was just wanting to work on the car even if she didn't need it." he said and chuckled.

Nova relaxed back into her chair with her feet on her friends lap. He told some kind of a joke making the others laugh as Nova thought about last night. Her friend's hand started to run up her leg and she pushed it off. "What's wrong with you today Nova?" he asked and she looked up everyone staring at her. "Nothing I just need some space today." she shrugged and stood taking a water. "Hey let's go take a drive." he suggested and she smiled nodding knowing that they where going to be reckless and she didn't care as she slipped into his car on the passenger side buckling in.

Cameron laughed and shook his head. "Because there is something magical up on a cliff where no one else can see you and your overlooking the world below. I just want to share it with you." he said and shrugged. "We could do it with ropes and harnesses and I promise not to make you do any crazy jumps or do them myself while we're up there." he smiled and looked at her. "I can be safe too." he said softly knowing it was probably hard to believe.

Ryker smiled when he dad talked about what he was doing. "I can help you." He offered. He began to help his dad and before he knew it his mom was telling them lunch was ready. He slod out from underneath the car and sat up.

Lennox looked at him, "I mean I guess we can try it. As long as you dont let me get hurt." She said. She was worried about him doing something crazy. "plus you have to swear not to do anything crazy." She said.

Nova came home around lunch and slammed the door pissed about something. She groaned as her mom yelled for her not to slam the door. "Sorry!" she yelled them stomped her way up to her room and slammed the door again making her mother groan. Nova laid back in her bed and huffed. She was so sick of boys and their stupid behaviors.

Cameron smiled. "Of course. Your safety is my number one concern. I want you to enjoy it not be scared of it." he said and kissed her softly. "I am so going to take you up on that before you can chicken out." he said and stretched out underneath her. Cameron kissed her head. "Get some sleep you're gonna need it." he said and stroked her hair smiling.

Ryker sat at the table, hearing the door slam as he ate his food. He took a sip of his drink as Nova slammed the door again. He finished eating then decided to fo check on her. He knocked on her door, "Nova." He said quietly.

Lennox smiled and snuggled him, "Goodnight." She said. She fell asleep on him.and woke up the next morning to his alarm going off. "What the hell Cam its too early." She muttered.

Nova sighed and sat up. "Come in." she crossed her arms as he came in. "What?" she asked and hugged her knees. Nova looked up at him and blinked away her tears. She wasn't ready to talk about it. At least she didn't feel ready. She knew Johnny was a bad boy but never had she thought he was so much of a sleaze. She just wanted someone to hang out with and all she ever found were people that wanted to use her.

Cameron chuckled as he stretched out. "What we have a long way to go. Get dressed in something flexible, like those sexy yoga pants and we'll be on our way." he said and kissed her. "You can sleep in the car." he said and got up making them breakfast and coffee. He then made a picnic lunch and stuck the things in his truck. He was always ready go on an adventure.

Ryker walked in and shut the door, "Are you okay?" He asked. He sat on the edge of the bed, "Did something happen?" He asked as he watched her. He hadnt seen her this upset in awhile. He knew somebody had really upset her.

Lennox sighed and got up and got dressed. she put her hair up and walked downstairs, seeing the breakfast. "Mmm..that looks good." She said as she sat down and began to fix herself a plate. She began ro eat and glanced at him. "You sure you want me to go?" She teased him.

Nova frowned and shoved him gently. "Dumb question award goes to...!" she smirked and turned tossing herself into her bed feeling Ryker in her bed. She sighed and rolled over. "I just don't get it. I mean how hard is it to understand no? Why must I always drop them?" she asked and pushed Ryker's bottom with her feet playfully. Nova sighed. "I'm just board out of my brains and sick of boring people who want only what they want." she shrugged and sat up again before tackling Ryker with a hug. "Good thing you're always around." she said and smacked his cheek with a kiss. "Want to grab one of those fancy pops from the old candy store on 12th?" she asked and grinned at him her eyes still sad but at least she seemed in a better mood.

Cameron smiled and set the coffee just how she liked it in front of her. "Oh please I have been trying to convince you to let me take you up for years now." he said and finished his coffee taking a bite of toast while cleaning up the kitchen. He sat down beside her to finish his eggs and the rest of his toast. "I'm so excited to get you up there." he winked at her.

Ryker looked up at her as she mentioned going to get a drink. "Sure we can do that." he said. he didnt want to pry about what happened. He could tell she was really upset about it though. He got up and grabbed his keys as they walked out. He smiled as he walked to his car and headed to the old restuarant.

Lennox laughed as she got up to clean her plate. "Is this some weird fantasy of yours? because if it is you are wasting your time. I am going to be tired." she said smiling at him.

Nova smiled and nodded getting off her bed and following him. She slipped into his car turning up the music and singing along. She smiled as they pulled up to the old candy store and she went in with him. The candy store smelled like old root beer and syrup. Nova sat at the counter with him and ordered a classic soda as the candy man came over. He handed them each a taffy taffy while he went to fill up their orders.

Cameron laughed. "I said no funs business on the rocks didn't I?" he chuckled cleaning his plate then handing her jacket to her. "You're gonna want this." he said and escorted her to his truck. Once they where in he headed up to his usual spot and parked in a field of flowers and hay. He chuckled as she looked up at the cliff side. "We're starting smallish." he said knowing it looked intimidating but it really was an easy climb. Cameron got out the harnesses and ropes and things suiting himself up before helping her into her harness and strapping her in good and tight. "Feel snug?" he asked running his fingers under the straps making sure she was in there good. Cameron grinned. "Okay so the rules go you have one free climber, me and I set up the jacks that strap us in. You have to have three jacks before moving on. You're job is just to grab them out of the rock once we are strapped into the next three. This climb should take half an hour." he said and smiled pulling on his backpack. "If anything happens you are tied to me and I will keep you safe." he said and smiled showing her how to use the jacks and then connecting their rope. He turned to her and smiled. "Alright ready?" he asked so excited for this.

Ryker sat at the counter with her and ordered the same. "Why do you like this place so much?" He asked. He liked it but it seemed to be her favorite spot. Ryker smiled as their drinks came. He took a sip of his drink, "So, you going to tell me exactly what happened earlier?" He asked.

Lennox got out of his truck with him and let him strap her onto the harness. She listened to him talk, then nodded when he asked if she was ready. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she thought about what would happen if she did fall and die. She was pretty sure Cameron and ryker would be the only ones to care. She looked at Cameron when he got her attention, snapping her out of her dark thoughts.

Nova smiled at him. "It's classic. Somethings never change and that's amazing." she said and sipped her drink sighing and grinning as the candy man brought her some pop rocks like he knew she loved. She seemed to come here a lot though she wasn't sure she would call it her favorite place, she didn't know that she really had one. Ryker asked about what happened earlier and she sighed. "Only if you can swear not to try and go beating some guys ass again." she said and gave him a pointed look. "I can take care of myself."

Cameron smiled and nodded. "Hey I got you okay?" he said and kissed her then took out his chalk bag and put one on her covering his hands in it then hers. "For the sweat." he winked clapping the excess off. Cameron hoped up onto the rocks and hung in the air setting a jack in clipping the rope to it then climbing further and clipping in a couple more. He climbed back down and offered Lennox his hand. "Alright ups a daisies." he said and pulled her up. Cameron came up behind her and put his knee between her legs. He taught her how to grab the hand holds and find the foot holds. "You need your user body a whole lot less if you use your lower body." he said and showed her where the next hand spot was near the jack. "Okay I put in an extra one earlier so I could help you take this first one out. Go ahead and squeeze and pull. Just like I showed you." he said and smiled.

Ryker looked at her, "Okay, I promise not to hurt someone." He said. He took a sip of his drink, "Alright tell me." He said. He listened to her, frowning when she explained what happened. Ryker took a sip of his drink, trying to calm himself down. He wanted to flip out on the person that upset her.

Lennox felt Cameron's body against hers and she was starting to think it was him that had the dirty fantasy. Lennox focus on what they were doing and tried to not think of Cameron's naked body. Lennox smiled when they finally reached the top of the rock cliff after awhile. She stood with Cameron, watching him gather some of his stuff. The way the sweat beaded over his muscles made her think of all kinds of dirty things she wanted to do to him.

Nova smiled softly and sighed turning towards him. "I was hanging out with Johnny and we went on a ride. He parked and tried to get me to sleep with him. When I refused he called me a slut and said I did it with everyone else what was so different about him." she shrugged. "I kneed him and walked back to my car." she said pouring pop rocks into her mouth.

Cameron smiled as they made it to the top and he looked over at Lennox and put his arm around her kissing her head. He pulled off his shirt and stuffed it in his back pocket. He grinned and stretched. "Hmm so what do you think? The climb worth the view?" he asked as the sun set the entire town gold. Cameron ran his hand down her arm and kissed her softly. He sat back and pulled waters out of his backpack for them handing one to her.

Ryker frowned, "Nova, you really need to quit hanging out with people like that." He said. He sighed, "I wish I didn't promise you I wouldn't kick his ass." He said before he took a sip of his drink. Ryker looked at her, "Don't hang out with him again." He said. Ryker finished his drink and looked at the empty glass in front of him.

Lennox smiled, "It is beautiful." She said, looking at the view. She took the water from him, "I don't know about all that work to get here though." She teased him, laughing a little. She smiled as he kissed her, then kissed him back. She pulled away then sat down and relaxed with him. She looked at him, "I don't understand why you want to do this so much." She said, smiling a little. She did like that the view was amazing, but it was exhausting to get to it.

Nova rolled her eyes. She smiled as he confirmed in his own way that he would hold up his promise. She laughed and shook her head. "Ryker I told you so you would understand no so that you could boss me around." she said and put more pop rocks in her mouth. "Candy man I think he needs his favorite over here!" she said and smiled. "My treat." she said and pushed him gently. "Now stop freaking out I told you I can handle myself." she said and finished her drink. "So what about you Mr. Perfect life what did you do today?" she asked just wanting to change the subject.

Cameron laughed. "Well you see I don't think things you don't have to work for are worth it. If it comes easy then what is the point, half the fun is the climb." he said and rested back on his hands looking up at the sky. "Besides this is totally me. If I had been alone on this climb I would have free climbed and taken 10 minutes." he said and smiled at her. "But I like the challenge so I carried the backpack and was watching you the entire time. "You're super cute by the way and you can't deny you like looking at my ass the entire way up." he winked at her and chuckled.
