Valerie grinned as she took him in, feeling a warmth flood her the moment Luke took her hand. She wasn't used to feeling this attracted to somebody or for somebody to fill her with warmth, and a part of her wanted to blame the alcohol, but another part of her knew better. "Well, aren't you a charmer?" she hummed out as she followed him to the dance floor, her arms sliding around his neck. Her body swayed with the music, finding it easy to move with Luke, her eyes never leaving him, feeling a rush of something she couldn't quite put her finger on.
"Well, lucky me," Michael said with a broad grin as he took her in, in awe by her, amazed that a woman like her had her attention on him, that somebody like him had managed to attract her attention at all. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Perrie." His hands were still rested on her hips, but he slid one down to her hand to lift her hand to his lips, kissing the skin of the back of her hand, his gaze never leaving hers, before he nodded. "I would love a dance with you. In fact, I'd think it'd make me the luckiest guy here." He winked, his grin broadening, enjoying the way it felt to talk to Perrie, to be near her. Still holding her hand, he gently moved to lead the way through the crowd to the makeshift dance floor before he turned back to her, grinning as he rested his hands back on her hips to dance with her, enjoying the fact that he could ignore the rest of the world around them to just focus on her, even if he knew they'd probably only have this night to enjoy it all.
