Zacky scratched the back of his head, sighing heavily. “I still don’t get why we’re doing this,” he grumbled. He and Jimmy were out doing some sort of weird mission for Matt. They had to kidnap two girls and bring them back to the personal house we’re the five of them stayed. Why they had to do it, he had no idea.

“Because Matt said so, duh,” Jimmy said with a roll of his eyes.

Zacky tolled his own eyes, huffing. He watched as a car pulled into the driveway through the window, since the both of them were currently waiting inside. Zacky was a master at picking locks. “They’re here,” he said into the small headset attached to his ear, his and Jimmy’s only form of communication while they were separated in the house. Zacky heard heavy footseps come up behind him, which meant Jimmy was ready.

The both of them backed into the shadows, Zacky pulling the black ski mask over his mouth as he waited. When the door opened, he smirked and grabbed one of the girls by the arm, crying out in pain when the girl kneed him in the crotch. “Fuck, shit,” he groaned, letting her go.

Lilliet yawned heavily as she stared out the passenger side window of her sisters car. They were on their way home from the airport after dropping their parents off. She was honestly excited to have the house all to themselves for the summer. Of course, she would miss her parents deeply and would definitely be wanting them back before the summer was over. “Ugh, I can’t wait to get home,” she groaned, stretching in her seat. Before she knew it they were pulling into the driveway, a small smile making its way onto her face. Lilliet got out of the car, bounding up the sidewalk and to their front door. She put the key in and unlocked it, raising a brow when something didn’t feel right. “Somethings wrong,” she said to her sister, her eyes widening when a man crept from the shadows. Lilliet screamed, backing up, only for her back to collide with a man’s chest. She gasped and whirled around, her eyes widening when she was met with another man. He grabbed her arm and pulled him to her, placing a rag with what she could only guess as chloridome over her mouth. She tried her best not to inhale but before she knew it she was fast asleep.

Everything went blank in Sydney’s mind when she heard her baby sister’s scream. All she knew was she had to keep her promise to her parents—protect Lilliet no matter what. She let loose a scream of rage and kicked the man who had grabbed her arm as hard as she possibly could in the crotch before rushing to protect her sister. The purple haired beauty had only made it a few steps before she received a punch to the side of the head. “Fuck, leave me alone!” Sydney screamed as the taller of the two invaders threw her over his shoulder. “Shut your fucking mouth, or I’m gonna slit your throat AND kill your little sister. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?” Almost immediately, Sydney bit her bottom lip to keep from screaming. It killed her to sit there and be quiet, to feel so helpless, but she had to keep Lilliet alive. At all cost.

Sydney screwed her eyes shut and did her best to pretend she was anywhere other than where she currently was. She heard a door being opened, a thud that could only be Lilliet, and then Sydney herself was harshly tossed into the back of a van. She waited for the van to peel out of the driveway before crawling over to the unconscious Lilliet, pulling her baby sister into her lap and hugging her tight. Panic was beginning to set in, but Sydney had to remain calm.

Matt sat waiting back at the compound, every tick of the clock causing his anxiety to grow. What if things had gone south at the Bazan house? He shook his head as if to dismiss the thoughts. Jimmy and Zack, his two best men, had been dispatched to get the girls and bring them back to the compound. They had cased the Bazan family for weeks, so Matt had no reason to be nervous. Aside from the fact that this was the biggest thing they had ever done.

He got up from his chair, pacing back and forth in his study. Despite the confidence he had in his men, Matt knew he would never be truly calm until they had arrived back, and the girls were on their property. A knock on his door snapped Matt out of his internal monologue, and he looked toward the door to address the intrusion. “What do you want?” He spoke, taking a sip of the beer that was in his hand. The door opened and then in walked Johnny, the newest/youngest member of the gang. “Zack and Jimmy just pulled up. They wanted to know if you wanted to see the girls now or in the morning?”

Matt thought briefly before giving Johnny an answer. “Bring them here.”

Zacky was pleasantly surprised with how quiet the ride back to the compound was. But with the threat Jimmy gave the one girl, he figured it was for the best that she stayed quiet if she wanted her sister to stay in one piece. Why Jimmy didn’t just knock the other girl out though was beyond him. It was a somewhat long ride, but eventually they made it back to the compound. Zacky got out of the van and stretched, yawning loudly and cracking a few joints. He walked over and opened the back doors, giving the one girl that was awake a sly smile before grabbing her by the arm and yanking her out. “Let’s go,” he grumbled, waiting for jimmy to get the sleeping one before heading inside. He went to Matt’s office like they were instructed, pushing the girl forward towards Matt before taking a seat in a nearby chair. He was known for being rather lazy at times, so he liked to sit when he could. Zacky looked up when Jimmy finally came in the room, dropping the other girl onto the floor with a thud that made Zacky grimace and shake his head. That had to hurt falling from that high up. At least she’d probably get woken up. “Welp, here they are like you asked,” he said, motioning towards the girls.

Lilliana was knocked out cold until something hard collided with the side of her body. She groaned and rolled around, desperately trying her best to wake up. She knew something was wrong, she could just feel it. “What the fuck,” she managed to sputter, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. She kind of felt like she was going to throw up, which really wouldn’t be good right now. Lilliana took in a deep breath and let it out slowly before fracking open her eyes, seeing the guys from before and her sister in front of her. Except now there were new guys, and one extreme handsome one leaning against a desk with a not so pleased look on his face. “Wow, you’re gorgeous,” she said as she tilted her head to the side. She wasn’t really one to bite her tongue in any situation, she didn’t care if this man was dangerous or not. If she thought someone was attractive, she was going to tell them. “Where in the fuck are we?” She got up and started to panic, standing closer to her sister and examining her. “Are you okay? Did they hurt you?”
