Huffing out a sigh he kicked a rock glaring at the ground as he moved through the lightly forest area. He didn't know why his father had insisted on him being in human form, he could hear the scratching of claws on the earth. So he knew that they weren't alone in their voyage. And it seemed rather stupid to just waltz right into someone homestead without some sort of back up. But this was something their Alpha had agreed to and he'd just have to bare with it. But he still wasn't sure how having a mate would play out. Though he knew these girls couldn't be anything special if their families were willing to part with them. Rolling his eyes he wondered just who they were being pair with, having had a few encounters with a few before. After all his mother had tried to school all the children from both packs. But it seemed that it'd been a mistake to even try to get along. Though that had been years ago and he'd matured a lot since then and he could only assume that any girl he knew as a child was now a woman. But how much of a woman could they really be. He bit his lip as he came face to face with one of the few men he'd had the pleasure of fighting. Granted it had been broken up luckily for the bastard before him. "Who the fuck invited this stupid fucking douche?" His voice rang out, moving to get in Weston's face. "Your dad did." Weston spit back, he knew that it wasn't smart to be here but his father had insisted. "Break it up boys." His father's voice rang out, before the man appeared next to the two of them. Weston motioned his hands to shoo away Dallas, knowing he wouldn't start anything with his father around. "Behave." His father warned before leading him into the house.
"You can't be serious." Riley gasped out looking between her mother and father, her eyes pleading with them. "Riley, not now." Her father warned. "You know that Farish can't handle this." She shook her head pleading with her mother hoping to appeal to her maternal side. "It wasn't our choice and you know it." Her mother said, it was then that the door opened and in walked Mark their Alpha. "Is she ready?" He asked doing his best to put on a brave face, but you could tell he was having such a hard time not breaking down as well. He'd known both of the girls since their birth and to have to give them away wasn't something he'd ever wanted. "Please, don't do this." Riley begged him, grabbing his arm to keep him from ignoring her. "She'll die over there, with no family." She knew it wasn't something any of them wanted to face. "Then what happens one of their mates will be dead and who are they going to blame?" She asked knowing these were the questioned that had to be asked, she knew it had been thought of but no one dared voice it. "What else would you have me do?" Asked Mark turning his cold look to her. "Let me go instead." She pleaded, she hadn't been picked due to her age. But she knew that if she went her sister would have a chance to live a life she wanted before dying. And she could always come home and visit so it wasn't like she was going to be gone to far. "Please." She said turning to look at her parents. "I know that I'm technically not at the age of being able to mate but please let me go in her stead." She was just shy of her eighteenth birthday. If her parents would allow it she'd take the leap instead even if she hated him with every fiber of her being. She'd grin and bare it as long as her sister didn't have to. "Just explain to them that she'd dying and let me go instead, please." She begged, tears streaming down her face. She knew it was partly because she was afraid for her sister but the truth was she was breaking on the inside due to her decision, it was something that would effect the rest of her life. "I will discuss it with their Alpha, but I make no promises." Mark answered. "And your parents have to approve." He said before exiting their house, going to make proper arrangement. Turning to face her mother she smiled the best she could, "please let me go." She begged, a cloud of white blocked her sight before she felt her breath taken from her. Her sister had flung herself at her hugging her with all of her strength.

Blair walked through the forest and headed back towards where her pack was. She knew the guys from the other pack would be coming to get her and the other girl today. Though she was making sure she took her good time returning home. Blair wanted to piss the guys off because she hated them more than anything. They had killed her uncle a few years ago and she hadn't forgotten. Blair walked through her backyard and opened the back door quietly. She heard them talking with her father and they sounded pissed off. Her mother had been murdered by hunters years ago and it had just been her, her sister and her father since then. Blair grabbed a water out of the fridge and looked over as her dad walked in as she closed the fridge. "What the hell Blair?" He said, looking at her. "Of all days you pick today to run off." He said. Blair opened her water bottle, "Oooo..was that today?" She joked, peering out to see the guys glaring at them. She waved with a cocky smirk. She rolled her eyes when her dad walked in with her. She knew that the other girl was suppose to be brought there in a few minutes. She let her eyes sweep over the dark haired guy that was glaring holes into her. She couldn't wait to get under his skin more and if just being late bothered him then it was going to be easy. She looked over as the door opened and their alpha walked in with Riley. Blair glanced over, feeling Weston looking at her. "You have a fucking staring problem?" She snapped at him. She rolled her eyes as her dad told her to knock it off. She could feel how much she was pissing Weston off and it made her very happy. She tried to hide the smile that graced her lips as he glared at her.
Hayden walked with his father, Weston and his dad as they went to get the girls that they had bargained for. "You know if they are so weak I don't see how they are going to make good mates." He said. He crossed his arms as Weston got into an argument with Dallas. "Careful Wes, we wouldn't want to kill another one." He said, chuckling. He walked into the house, glancing around. He smirked when he realized that Weston's supposed mate decided to be late. "Oh you are going to love her." He teased his friend. The two had been close their whole lives and spent a lot of time together. He glanced over as the blonde looked at them and waved. She was cocky and that was going to have to change. He knew that Weston and the rest of the pack was not going to let her walk all over them. Hayden looked over as the door opened, seeing the girl that was with their alpha. "That isn't the one we talked about." His dad said, glaring at the other alpha. Hayden looked over Riley and crossed his arms. "Seems to me like you are all trying to get out of this deal." His dad spat. "I would hate for this little trip to end in a blood bath." His father growled. Hayden narrowed his eyes at one of the men in the room. He listened as they explained and then walked over to Riley. He walked around her in a circle, looking her over. "She'll do." He said, smirking. He didn't need a mate that was going to die on him anyway. "Besides she's going to need to handle being roughed up." He teased, laughing with the rest of them.

Riley stood tall and proud as Mark talked about her sister explaining what was going on and why the sudden change in girls. Gritting her teeth she did her best to keep her cool, she knew her temper was bad and since her parents always kept her homeward bound the only time she got to stretch her leg was when her and Dallas had their sparing sessions. Biting the inside of her cheek she watched as one of them got up, he was a lot bigger than she'd expected. But she didn't waver as he moved around her, making a soar joke about her sister. She couldn't help the growl that left her chest, swinging her leg out she hooked it around his. Her hands grabbing his chest as she took him to the ground. Her arm sliding up to his neck pinning him to the ground. Pulling his leg up to put him in a leg bar. "Who's being roughed up?" She questioned him, glaring down at him, her pupils blowing out black. It'd been to long since she'd been allow to phase so her anger levels were higher. And any joke about her sister wouldn't be tolerated. "Riley." Mark warned, before patting the girl on the back. The laughter in his voice evident. Pulling the girl to her feet he offered the boy his hand, rolling his eyes when it was ignored. Just because most of their pack was weaker due to age and the younger being to inexperienced so it made living a bit difficult. "I'm going to miss that spunk." Mark smirked over at Riley, he knew he was loosing a good one. But they wouldn't be to far away. Standing back she noticed Blair. Shrugging at the girl she knew that she wasn't making it easier for them.
Weston did his best to keep his cool but the men in this place was getting on his nerves. It wasn't what he'd wanted being forced to mate. And having do deal with someone that doesn't have any sense of responsibly. Shaking his head he sighed sitting back trying to get comfortable. But it was proving difficult. Sighing for the millionth time he glared at the few people entering the room he'd been stuffed into. It felt like forever before someone said something, and he was just getting more anxious. Before his ears perked up at the mention of a blood bath. A soft smirk pulled at his lips wanting nothing more that to shake out his fur and taste a bit of blood. Though he frowned when Hayden opened his big fat mouth. He was about to spout off about how his dick was the one thinking. But a loud laugh left his mouth when he watched this little girl move. Blinking at her he shook his head he was rather impressed, even if it was just for a mate he knew Hayden would have his hands full. "You got a feisty one." He smirked as Hayden stood he could tell his friend was rather irritated by what had just happened. He was doing his best to keep from laughing, but that's what happened when one let their guard down. And with that he knew to keep on his toes around the two as they seemed to be rather pissed about what was going on.

Hayden growled at the girl, ignoring the hand of their alpha as he got up. He glared at Riley, wanting nothing more than to punch her to the ground. He needed to keep himself in check though in front of everyone. He didn't need to be causing an all out battle. He knew Weston would be up for it but he was not. "Let's just get the fuck out of here." He growled. He walked out with them, making sure Riley was with them. "Better take a good look. I'm sure all of this will be gone soon." He teased, getting a glare from his father. It wasn't a shock though. Their pack was dying out and it was mostly due to battles with his pack.

    --

Blair crossed her arms, laughing a little as Riley took Hayden down. She rolled her eyes when it was time to go. She ignored Weston and walked by him. She didn't even glance at him as they walked through the forest. Blair didn't want to leave her family, but it was better than having to deal with the fighting. Once they got to the village she looked at Weston when he got her attention. She walked into the house with him, looking at him. He seemed really pissed off, "Well you are just a delight." She muttered.

Riley nodded to Mark as he patted her back on last time. Nibbling on her best she did her best to keep her composer. It was starting to hit her hard now that she was leaving. She noticed that her mother was standing on her porch doing her best not to break down. Her sister tucked under her arm. Blinking back tears she turned a glare to Hayden knowing that his words were true to a point. The next time she seen this place her sister would more than likely be dead. It was on of the only reason why she'd truly cared what happened. But she knew this was best for her family and for their pack. "Like your love life." She scoffed, knowing that once they were mated it was for life. And even if she had to suffer with him she could make sure he'd never have sex ever after they were mated of course.
Weston couldn't help the smile on his face as they started to leave. He wanted to smart off to Hayden about how he'd gotten weak in his old age. But he knew it would only get him smacked. It didn't bother him though he was in a rather good mood now. He couldn't help but steal glances over at Blair he could tell she wasn't taking this well. Though he couldn't blame her, it was just how things had to be. As they walked he could feel the tension rising and everyone was on edge. He huffed out knowing he wasn't going to get the same treatment from her as other girls. It was the only thing that truly sucked about the arrangement. The girl he liked was no out of his reach, and he was stuck with someone that didn't want him just as much as he didn't want them. The more he thought about it the angrier he got, he just wanted to punch something. But that wouldn't help him now. Sighing he was glad they entered the village, he motioned for Blair to follow him. He knew that it was just a matter of time before thing started to blow up in all their faces. But right now he wasn't dealing with any of that. Pushing open the door to the house he let her enter, rolling his eyes at her remark. "Of course." He snapped, shaking his head. What was he suppose to do with this girl. It wasn't like she wanted him.

Hayden walked her to his house and walked inside. He looked at her, "Your little attitude may have been cute back with your old pack, but you are not going to get away with that here. We respect our own." He said. "I suggest you give up on your past and start learning the new rules." He told her. "We are having a party later to welcome you two so be ready for that." He said. He walked off to go get himself something to eat in the kitchen.

    --

Blair glared at him and crossed her arms. "You don't have to yell." She teased him. She walked around the small house and noticed how much it was lacking character. Of course it was only him that lived here. "If it is so terrible to have me here then why would you agree to this?" She asked him. Clearly from the looks of him he could have whoever he wanted. It was clear he was forced into this was well. It didnt make her feel bad for him though. He was an asshole and a murderer.

Riley scoffed at his words respect their own. Here she was his but he treated her like dirt, so he needed to take his own advise. Rolling her eyes she moved through the house, looking around doing her best to familiarize herself. He sure the hell wasn't any help. She did her best to avoid the kitchen as that's where he'd managed to wind up at. Nibbling on her lip she noticed that the two bedroom place was only equipped with one bed. She knew that she was expected to mate with this person but she was still a bit shocked they expected them to jump in bed together. Shaking her thoughts out of her head she slipped into the bathroom. She didn't know what he meant by party, really the only thing she'd ever done was attend a bonfire. So she couldn't imagine it would be to different. Besides she didn't own much clothing that could be used for a party. Changing into something a little bit nicer she exited the bathroom. Nibbling on her lip wondering if she should chance it and go get herself something to eat.
Weston stopped turning to glare at her, "I can show you yelling." He growled at her, knowing that this wasn't what he'd wanted either. But she was testing his limits. "Who's to say that I did." He raised a brow at her. The girl he wanted wasn't fit enough in his mother's eyes to be by his side. And he had not idea how this girl was any better. He couldn't understand the way the hierarchy worked. But the girl he wanted was just barely allowed in their group his father had threatened to kick her and her mother out. But it seemed he'd changed his mind due to some persuasion. Though it wasn't something Weston could wrap his head around. The woman wasn't mated and had a child and he knew that was frowned on. He could only assume no one would give him any information. Shaking his head he knew it wouldn't happen, and as long as Blair gave him pups then it would satisfy his mother. She wasn't one to be crossed.

Hayden looked at her as she came out and he held a sandwich in his hands. "The party isnt goingnto be anything fancy. It will just be us drinking and eating. I guess i should have told you that." He said. Hayden took a bite of his sandwich, "Hopefully you survive the night." He said. He knew his pack was not happy about the girls being there and he hoped it wouldn't be a giant fight.

    --

Blair looked at him, "I assume since it was partly your parents ideas." She said. Though it looked like he really didnt want her to be there. "You know i hate you more than you could ever possibly hate me." She said, crossing her arms. She wanted him to know that she was not going to be nice to him. She had a good reason to hate him.

Riley looked at him, wondering if he was going to keep this whole asshole thing up or not. She knew that they both were living in hell right now but she was doing her best to make the most of it. "I'm sure I will." She told him before looking out the window. She'd never seen their village before so getting small glimpses of it would have to suffice. "I mean the only one who would disobey their Alpha would be a bitch." She said turning to look at him, "and since you had to go to another pack to find a mate, I'm guessing your not wanted. So I shouldn't have any problem." She smirked at him.
Weston rolled his eyes, "that's not hard." He told her. Truth was he didn't hate her or the other pack. He'd been raised to protect what was his and when they moved to his village the farm was their. Sure another pack had it but they wanted it and was going to do anything to get it. For years they tried to get it. He'd grown up wanting that land to. And now in some sick twisted way they had it. It wasn't his personal vendetta or anything that fuel fights. It was purely instinct to want to follow their alpha's command. So he'd never fought against it, and now he was really starting to wonder why he never did. Though he couldn't say he didn't enjoy beating up on their village, having his fun. But it had never been personal just instinct.

Hayden frowned when he said that he wasn't wanted. "Is that what they told you?" He asked, frowning. His family knew that he had plenty of people that wanted him. His dad decided that he would have to be with Riley since it would make their lives easier. "If it was up to me I would have just killed your pack off. This whole making a deal thing is just stupid and a waste of time. You two will never fit in here and you aren't strong enough to be part of this pack." He told her. He sighed as he finished his sandwich, "I have plenty of women who want me, but I was told I have to be with you." He said. He was getting annoyed. Hayden sat down on the couch and watched her.
Blair frowned at him, then walked away to go look around the house. She left him and looked out the window at the forest around them. She didn't want to be there, but it was better than someone else getting stuck with him. She crossed her arms and watched as the leaves moved. She walked out into the living room after a bit, finding him. "So where am I sleeping?" She asked. She really hoped he didn't expect her to sleep in the same bed as him. She glanced around his house, "Is it only you that lives here?" She asked him. She imagined it would get pretty lonely.

Riley rolled her eyes at his words she knew she was getting under his skin, and she enjoyed it. She knew she shouldn't after all the only thing she had against his pack was trying to take her sister. She'd been shielded from most of the bad in her life. And it wasn't till Dallas showed some interest in her that she was even allowed to start training. "Oh someone is a good boy." She mocked him in a teasing tone, knowing it would make him mad being referred to as a dog. She scoffed about him having plenty of women wanting him. "Where are they?" She asked, "they way you talk they're lining up around the block." She shook her head before turning to look back out the window. Shaking her head trying to keep from laughing to much. He was ridiculous. Thinking so high and mighty of himself when in fact with out this big pack to protect him he'd been nothing but a weak pup.
Weston sighed happily when she wondered off, sitting on the couch he kicked back and closed his eyes. He was thankful for the peace and quite. He was still having a hard time wrapping his head around this. It has only been sprung on his last night. He knew it was to keep him from doing something rash and throwing this entire deal into the garbage. Which he had really wanted to go and mate with someone random last night. But his mother had kept a close watch on him. Hearing her voice he groaned before looking at her. "How many beds have you found?" He asked her. Shaking his head, she was dense if she thought she wasn't going to have to fulfill her duties as a mate. Not that he was looking forward to it either. "Yup just me." He shook his head, if she was so concerned about sleeping with him the couch was always open for her. But she would have to mate with him soon. His father wouldn't let them stay unmated. It was after all what they were here for.

Hayden glared at her when she called him a good boy. He narrowed his eyes, "Is this really how you act? No wonder your pack was so willing to get rid of you." He snapped at her. He was about to yell at her again, but stopped when his dad walked in. He sighed when he told them it was time to go to the party. He glared at her, "Let's go." He said. He walked out with her, not bothering to let her near him. He just wanted this night to be over with. He didn't see how this is ever going to work. He walked into the pavilion that was set up and he felt the tension as some of his pack glared at Riley. He sat down next to his dad at the head table, motioning for her to sit beside of him. He crossed his arms as they waited for everyone to get there.
Blair rolled his eyes, "You don't have to be a dick all the time you know? You could take break." She said. She looked over as his front door opened and his dad walked in. She sighed when they said they had to go. Blair crossed her arms as she walked beside of Weston. She glanced over at the forest, wanting to just run and not come back. When they got to the pavilion she sat beside of him and didn't say anything. She messed with the necklace around her neck as they waited for the rest of his pack. It was a moonstone that had been her mothers. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she stared at the necklace, trying to ignore the stuff around her.

Riley was so pissed by his words and she wanted to make him eat them. But the moment his dad entered the room she could feel the tension. She bit her tongue knowing nothing good would come out of biting back at him now. Instead she followed him out to the pavilion, her head held high as she move to take her seat next to him. She could feel eyes on her and a soft smirk formed on her lips. "Wow the good boy wasn't lying." She muttered enough for him to hear her. She could see there was a few girls not to happy about her sitting next to him. But she knew her place and it was for her family. She just wanted to make him eat his own heart right now. She knew he hadn't wanted this either but it wasn't her fault.
"Like that's going to stop you from being a bitch." He rolled his eyes. He didn't care if he dad heard him or not. They weren't going to be the ideal lovey dovey couple. So bumping heads was going to happened. Standing up he followed his father out, groaning when his father gave him a pointed look. "Greet you mother." He told his son, before taking his seat. "Honey." The sweet word was laced with baby talk. She'd never given up the pet names or the making him miserable by doing it in front of everyone. "Mother." He said through gritted teeth, before hugging her. He sighed before moving to his seat. "Oh she's lovely." His mother gushed from beside him, her words were meant for his father but everyone could hear her. Tucking his head he knew he wasn't going to get out of this easy. Not only was his pack mad about this but it felt like he was betraying them somehow. He knew it wasn't the case everyone just needed to learn to let things go. But her wanted someone else and his heart was in that.

Hayden shot her a glare when she called him good boy again. "Can you not be a bitch right now?" He growled at her so only she could hear. He was glad when everyone was finally there and they got some food. He began to eat the steak that was set in front of him. He took a swig of his beer. Maybe he could drink the thought of wanting to hurt her away. He knew that the pack would eventually get over it. He listened to his dad talk to his mom then went back to eating. He really wanted to go for a run. He leaned back and looked at Weston, "Wes."He said, getting his friends attention. "You want to go run after this?" He asked him quietly. His wolf was itching to get out. He knew that his dad would be pissed, but he didn't care.
Blair was glad when there was food and beer set in front of her. She was pretty hungry. She took a sip of her beer, then heard Hayden ask Weston to go running. It sounded so exciting, but she knew she wouldn't be able to go. She began to eat, feeling how close Weston was to her. She hadn't really paid attention to how much larger Weston was compared to her until that moment. She took a sip of her drink, noticing the girl staring at Weston. She assumed that was the girl that Weston was actually in love with. Blair glanced at him when he finished talking with Hayden.

Riley scoffed at his words surprised he even bothered to ask, rolling her eyes sat back in her seat just listening to the commotion going on around her. When her food was before her she smiled softly glad for something to eat. It was the first thing she'd had all day. She noticed Hayden downing his beer, and she wondered if she should even try it. Instead she opted for water, pushing her beer closer to him so he could drink it. After all she didn't want it to go to waste. But it wasn't something she was willing to try now. The way he'd been talking she needed to be on her guard at all times. She perked up at the idea of going on a run, but she slapped the want back down. She knew it was Hayden's way of getting rid of her. And honestly she was happy that she'd get some alone time.
Weston was doing his best to ignore his mother's comments and questions. But when he heard Hayden he couldn't help but turn and smirk at his friend. "You know I'm always up for it." He smiled, before straightening himself up. He'd noticed the look from Blair, and taken in just how close they were. He could smell her and if he hadn't been so annoyed with this whole situation he could have been fond of the scent. But he knew that it was foolish to think about her now, he needed to keep his mind focused and off of her. She'd already admitted she hated him. And he'd done nothing to her.

Hayden smirked when his friend agreed to go for a run. Once they were done eating he finished his beer. He looked at Riley, "Come on, I will take you home." He said. He didn't want her walking around alone just yet. He didn't trust that his pack wouldn't hurt her. He waited for her then walked with her out of the pavilion. He sat on his front porch when they got to the house. "I'm going with Wes tonight so dont do anything stupid." He said. He was ready to run and get away.

Blair noticed that Weston was trying to finish faster so they could leave. She finished then looked at him as he stood up. She got up, waving a little at his parents as they left. She ran her fingers through her hair as they walked towards his house. She stepped inside and looked at him. She sat on the couch and looked at her hands. She was honestly tired and planned on going to sleep when he left.

Riley looked at him kind of shocked, before standing up and following him home. "Wow." She murmured to herself surprised that he was being kind. She stopped as he sat down on the porch. "I'm here aren't I?" She questioned him, knowing this was the stupidest thing she'd done ever. But he didn't know that she'd volunteered to do this. Moving up the porch steps she stopped at the door, "and as long as your gone I think I'll be fine." She told him before heading inside. Just wanting to get some sleep. But honestly she was worried about being alone in the house. Since he'd pointed out the pack had ill will towards her she was worried someone would end up sneaking in while she was sleeping.
Weston went straight to his room and quickly changed into a pair of shorts. He threw his dirty clothes into the hamper before walking back to the living room. "I don't have to lecture you do I?" He asked her knowing that some in her place might want to run. He wasn't looking forward to having to deal with that. But if she did run it would give him a chance to attack her pack. And even though he was doing his best to let thing lay where they may, he still had an itch to fight. When she didn't lip off he nodded before heading towards the door. "I'll be back late." He informed her before closing the door behind him. Heading straight for Hayden's house.

Hayden sighed as he watched her then went and got changed. He walked out and found Weston outside. "I swear she is so annoying." He said as he walked with his friend. "How are things going for you?" He asked. Hayden walked and once they reached the woods he changed.

Blair rolled her eyes, "Nope, I think i'm good right here." She said. She watched as he left then went upstairs. She took a shower then got dressed for bed. She pulled on her shorts and a tank top before she dried her hair. She climbed into the bed and got comfortable. She sighed when she smelled Weston's sent all over the place. She closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep.

Riley watched as he basically fled the house, she was happily that he was leaving her alone. Once she knew he was gone she moved around the house letting herself slowly relax. She didn't know how long he was going to be gone. And even though she wanted him to be away she was worried about being alone. It was the first time she'd ever had to face that. Her pack had been small and the kids were always flocking together. Nibbling on her lips she headed up to the room, she was thankful her things were there. Digging through her bag she found a few things she could change into and relax once she was done showering.
Weston shook his head as he heard Hayden complain about Riley. "Oh I know what you mean." He shook his head. He waited till they were on the outside of town before he told him what he really thought. "She's a huge fucking pain in the ass, and don't get me started with her attitude." He slipped out of his shorts before phasing. Once his paws hit the dirt he shook out his fur.
