NaNoWriMo 2018
If you weren't aware, National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo for short) is an annual event that takes place during the month of November. Conducted by The Office of Letters and Light, NaNoWriMo aims to challenge its participants to write a novel in exactly thirty days: 50,000 words of a first draft.
The event garners thousands of participants annually and runs 100% on donations. Entirely honor-based, if you complete the challenge and write 50,000 words in one month, you are granted a bunch of prizes! Some of which in the past were discounts on the writing software Scrivener, and discounts on printing copies of your book from Amazon's CreateSpace!
This is my call for you to participate! Join us Mibbians - as well as thousands of writers on NaNoWriMo.org - as we endeavor to write 50,000 words in just thirty short days. On top of NaNoWriMo's own prizes, I'll be offering prizes of my own to those who compete and win!
