Brian froze when she started to kiss him, his lips being the only thing that moved. He knew that bringing her over would lead to them fucking. But he'd hoped that she'd at least want to hang out a bit. Normally he couldn't wait to take a woman's clothing off and didn't care for the words that spilled from her lips. This was different Mina was something entirely else. He wanted everything that he could get with her, not everything had to be sexual with them. Skylar looked at Zacky a soft smirk on her lips. "You know you didn't have this problem when I asked you for your notes." She teased him, knowing that he'd been short with his responses and tried to get away from her as fast as he could. Now she seemed to understand that he'd been attracted to her and didn't want to say no let alone make a fool of himself. "What's there to tell?" She was slightly glad he'd changed the subject. "I'm just a small town girl who goes to college." She smiled at him, knowing that they'd get to know each other better through their playful banter than dealing with their awkward nerves. He couldn't seem to shake it and neither could she. Even though she was trying to pull him from his shell she couldn't crack that egg. "What do you want to know?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle, deciding to take the lead and let him ask her whatever he wanted. Though in all honesty she'd end up putting her foot down if she didn't' want to answer something.

Mina looked at Megan when Brian introduced her to her. She couldn't believe this was the girl he was dating. No wonder he was so interested in her. This girl looked boring and from the look on her face she appeared to be bitchy. "Hi, It's nice to meet you Megan." She said to the other girl. Zacky shrugged, "I don't know. What kind of hobbies do you have? How about your family? You have any siblings?" He asked as he watched her. Brian bit back the groan that tried to escape his lips. He knew that he was opening himself up to a shit storm, his girlfriend meeting his fuck buddy had never been his intention. But seeing Megan on the other side of the door he knew all to well how this was going to go over. The one thing he didn’t want to deal with right now was Megan. If she wanted to make his life hell she’d skip class and force him to hang out all night with her. It was a trait he’d liked that was until Mina showed up, now it just bugged him. Before it made him realize what he really wanted from Mina, but he knew he’d never get. “Well I was on my way to class when I got a text saying a girl was alone in your dorm with you.” She pointed out, finding it very much truthful. “Yea, you see that, but that’s my best friends kid sister.” He told her, looking at Zacky’s door. “I can call Zack have him explain that Mina’s his sister.” He offered before turning to look around for his phone. “No baby, I believe you.” She said though he could tell it was a lie, she wasn’t that secure. Also she had every reason to believe he was cheating when he truly was. At times he felt bad for her but it wasn’t like he loved her or anything, they were just dating. “Okay, I guess I need to get to class.” She sad, slightly dragging out her leaving. Brian nodded softly trying to rack his brain on what he could do to get her out of here, without causing a fight. Though once the door closed behind her he couldn’t help but let out a sigh. He could even begin to describe the relief he felt now that she was gone. And in all honesty he didn’t even want to deal with Mina either right now. It made him hate what he was doing because he truly loved Mina, and wanted to have everything with her. But she wasn’t ever open to that.

“Ah there you go again cut throating it.” She teased him, smiling brightly. She honestly couldn’t remember the last time she had this much fun, he was making it easy for her. But for some reason she couldn’t bring herself to go in for the kill. She knew they enjoyed their banter but it was a date after all and it seemed like they both wanted thing to smooth out, but was failing to make it happen. “Honestly, I’m a college student focusing on bettering my life.” She told him almost like she was monologuing. “Not many hobbies, I just focused on school work, lame I know but I had to work my ass off to get a full ride.” She shrugged knowing she’d end up telling him a lot more about herself if something came from this. But it was only if they could get over the awkwardness. “I don’t have any siblings, thankfully.” She chuckled, “what about you? Hobbies, siblings besides your sister?” She asked knowing he’d mentioned having one. And honestly she just wished this date was already over. It wasn’t that she didn’t like him it just felt like they were trying to force it. She’d really enjoyed his witty remarks and snappy come backs. But it felt like they were going through the boring routine and she hated that, she didn’t know what it was about going on dates with guys but unless they wanted in her pants it was always awkward trying to find something to talk about.

Mina walked out of the bedroom once she was sure that his girlfriend was gone. She stood there, watching Brian for a moment. He looked pretty irritated. "Do you want me to go?" She asked him. She could tell that he was upset. Mina didn't want to fight with him and she knew that Brian could get pretty angry when he was upset. She walked over to the couch and sat down. "I'm surprised she didn't yell at you." She told him, smiling a little as she looked up at him. She didn't really want to leave, but she also felt like he seemed more distant than when she first got there.

Zacky chuckled, "No, it is just my sister and I. Though we aren't as close as we use to be. She kind of does her own thing and I do mine." He explained to her. He thought about what to say to her and he felt like she was closed off. He understood that because he did that with people as well. Zacky rubbed the back of his neck. "Look, I know things seem really weird, but I kind of just want to forget about the bad first encounter we had. If you feel that way as well of course." He said. Zacky took a sip of his drink and leaned back against his chair. He was hoping that they could become friends and enjoy each others company.

Brain watched as Mina took a seat on the couch, her words held a lot of truth in them. As he too was shocked Megan hadn't yelled at him. But she did make him realize the waste of time he'd been spending on her. And how he truly wasn't happy with her, it was all just a waste of his time. It was like she was filling the void though no one truly could replace the one person he truly loved and wanted. Dropping down on the couch beside her he let out a bit of a chuckle. "Why would I want you to go?" He asked her, knowing that even if he'd been caught balls deep inside her he'd always choose Mina over the other girl. And even though he tried to push his thoughts aside he knew he wasn't going to get this out of his head for a long time. It was one of the main reasons why he'd been so happy to go to college. He got to distance himself from her and not have to feel like this. Like a piece of dirty laundry that was tossed aside when she was done with it. He knew that Mina didn't do relationships. He'd brought it up a time or two but they always ended up fighting over it. And really he knew it was just because he didn't want to hear those words. It was like all his deepest fears coming true. "Tell me, you still feel like relationships are a huge waste of time?" He asked her, knowing she'd described it that way once before. And honestly he just wanted to hear it one more time from her, maybe this time he'd truly understand and let her go.

Skylar could help but smirk at him, "I know what you mean. She's the party animal and your just a boring book worm." She teased him again, hoping they could turn the night around as she felt he was to serious and she wanted things to stay loose and fun. But it didn't seem like the night was going the way either of them had wanted. Though she said she'd wanted thing to be causal she couldn't help but fall a bit for the excessive amount of energy he'd put into the night. And they hadn't even eaten yet. "What makes you think I wouldn't?" She asked him, before grabbing her glass and taking a quick sip, before placing it back down. "Because if I hadn't let it go we would have never exchanged numbers." She told him, knowing she could hold a grudge like crazy. But it wasn't worth it anymore. And beside she understood his point of view, however it did help he did change his mind a bit. Even if she did lose some sleep over it.

Mina shrugged, "I don't know. I just was thinking you might want to be alone after that." She told him. When he asked her if she still felt the same about relationships she just stared at him. She did still feel that way because she felt like relationships were a waist of time. They always ended in disaster. "Yea, I still feel that way. It never ends well. They are a waste of time. Do you really think that they are a good idea? I mean look at the way the girl you are with now is." She explained. She knew that Brian had always wanted to be in a serious relationship with her and she didn't think she could do that.

Zacky laughed when she called him the boring book worm. "I am not boring." He told her, shaking his head. He nodded when she mentioned that she let it go. "Yea, I am glad that we were able to not focus on that. We can move on from that. I want to get to know you better." He told her. Zacky was so glad when their food came and he could eat.

He grabbed a helmet then the keys to one of the bikes. He got on the bike and started it as he waited for her to get on. He helped her on, then started out of the garage. He pulled onto the road and took off.

Brian huffed out as he slumped down on the couch, his eyes falling shut as he panted out trying to calm his breathing. "Hm." He mumbled hearing her speak of taking a shower. Mina finished taking her shower before she got dressed and dried off her hair. She could tell already that Brian was acting different. Mina walked out of the bathroom, glancing around his bedroom before she walked out into the living room. "Are you okay?" She asked as she plopped down on the couch next to him. She looked at him before taking his beer and taking a swig of it. She handed it back to him as she waited for his answer.

Even if he was with a girlfriend she’d still take a drink. “I’m good.” He told her, knowing expecting something more wasn’t happening. So she wasn’t about to get happy loving Brian. Mina frowned when she noticed that his attitude seemed to have changed. She turned to face him some, scooting closer to him. "What is wrong with you? Seriously, are you pissed at me for something? You are acting like you don't want me around all of the sudden. Does this have to do with your girlfriend? I mean it's not my fault she showed up." She said. She didn't like that he was acting so weird. She was use to him being so nice. It was the main reason she kept coming back.

Zacky chuckled, "No second date, but you are gonna help me find the fun again? Oh there will be a second date. I am going to take you somewhere awesome." He told her as he looked at the view. He was glad that she seemed a little more relaxed. He looked at her, "I am glad you came along with me tonight." He told her.

Brian shrugged, “I don’t know.” He told her truthfully, his mind playing over their conversation earlier. “I mean yeah it sucks she showed but it would happen sooner or later. But it’s not the issue.” He said knowing he couldn’t beat around the bush with her. She saw through all his bullshit and didn’t buy any of it. “I guess I’ve gotten used to booty calls leaving when I’m done with them.” He told her, knowing it was a hit below the belt but what did she expect. After denying him so many times the guys gotta figure out how to move on and be okay with letting her go. Though he wasn’t to that point yet. But this couldn’t last forever. “I don’t know I’m just tired, and need a break from drama and life.” He said knowing that classes were piling up and his girlfriend was turning way to clingy. He need time to unwind and just look at his choices, but he couldn’t let go of Mina. They had picked up right where they left off and it sucked. Turning to look up at him She smiled, “is that so?” She asked, “your lucky I got on that bike in this skirt.” She teased him. Mina looked at him and raised an eyebrow. She ran her fingers through her hair. "Okay, well I will go then, I guess." She said. She got up, looking at Brian. "Are you really going to start ignoring me now? What did I even do? We were fine yesterday." She said as she crossed her arms. She wasn't use to him being so stubborn. Mina was use to getting her way with him. "I will talk to you later." She told him. She went to kiss him, but stopped herself. If he didn't care then she was just going to not bother. "Bye Brian. Have a good night." She said as she grabbed her stuff and walked out of the apartment.

"Of course there will be a second date. I have a lot of things to show you. We are gonna have a good time." He said as he grabbed his keys from his pocket. He looked over at her, "So you want to get some ice cream? You look like you like ice cream." He told her, smirking as he looked into her eyes.
