Cause I'm just one of those ghosts
    Traveling endlessly
    Don't need no roads
    In fact they follow me
And we just go in circles

Charlotte sat on the bottom step of the staircase, watching as boxes of unpacked belongings were being brought inside, out of the rain. Exhaling sadly, Charlotte watched as the men stopped to talk, and she couldn't help but wonder where the new owner was. Standing to her feet, walking between the two unnoticed, Charlotte frowned and looked towards where her body was kept - behind the wall in the kitchen. Ignoring the yearning, Charlotte treaded through to the living room, seeing a blonde man sat on the armchair, organising some things. He must have been the one. Watching him, listening as he spoke to himself, Charlotte swore that she'd never heard a voice so beautiful. Sitting on the coffee table, next to his box, Charlotte watched, knowing he couldn't see her.

Luke sighed happily as he kicked the front door shut, finally happy to have finalised his new purchase with Michael. After his most recent break up, Luke decided living alone probably wasn't the best idea, knowing that the silence would overwhelm him. Going to look for Michael, Luke grinned as he saw him in the living room. "Mate, this place is amazing." He commented, sitting beside Michael on the couch. "Vintage looking. We could write some great songs here." He grinned. "Hell, one of the upstairs rooms could be made into a studio, what do you think?" He raised an amused brow.

Michael was wandering around the house at first, taking it all in, acknowledging how truly beautiful the house was, everything about it so intricate yet delicate. Eventually, he moved to sit on the sofa, imagining what they could turn this place into and how amazing it would be to live here. Hearing Luke's voice, he peered over at his friend, grinning slightly. "Yeah, good thing I found it, too, huh?" he joked lightly, his grin broadening as he settled into the sofa, peering around a bit more as he took in as much of he could of the living room. It felt good, being a new place, making new memories away from the ones that had been troubling him for the past few months. While it'd all made for great music, the memories with his own ex were hard to get through. "It's already got me eager to write. Imagine what we could do with this place and the inspiration that can come out of it." His gaze settled back onto his friend, then, and he nodded. "I think that would work. Should we go check out the upstairs rooms, see which one might be best?"

Mira had been upstairs, preferring to be as far away from her own body as possible, when she'd first heard the commotion, people coming in, the thumping of things being set down, the chattering. Curious, she'd made her way down, heading down the large, grand staircase, her eyes taking in the sight of boxes, and she wondered who in the world would move into this awful place - but, then, it was highly likely that there was still nobody aware of the awful things that happened in this house. Her gaze fell on a guy with the most amazing blue eyes and she found herself watching him, her brows furrowed as she followed him to another person, though she noticed Charlotte not far away. "They're moving in?" she asked quietly, motioning to the pair who were talking, since their words made it seem like they were the ones who'd bought the house.

Luke grinned with Michael's words. "Good job Mikey, this place is amazing." He patted his best friend's shoulder, looking around the living room and just taking in everything that made the place unique. But hearing that Michael was eager to write made Luke grin, because he already felt the same, the house had a certain air around it that just captured his attention. "We should." he nodded. "Apparently the old landlord of this place was a little weird, I wanna see if he's left anything up here." He winked teasingly. "I dib the biggest bedroom." He told Michael seriously. "Because I said so." Even with his joking around, Luke truly was excited to start afresh in this house; just content to spend his time here, content to get lost within the walls, happy to hear the silence. "C'mon."

Charlotte nodded, watching Michael, tilting her head slightly. She wanted to reach out, touch him in someway, her curiosity almost getting the best of her. She saw heartbreak behind that smile, behind his eyes, and it pained her a little. Still, the history Charlotte with the house probably helped towards her empathetic nature. Hearing Mira's words, Charlotte looked to her friend. At least being tied to a place wasn't as lonely when another was tied there alongside you. "It seems like it." She nodded, tearing her gaze away from Michael. "This one says he found the house." She said. If only they knew what were behind the walls. Still, Charlotte sighed. "He's beautiful, Mira, look at him." She blinked as Michael and Luke stood up, watching after Michael. "Should we follow them?" She asked, wanting to get away, knowing she was close to her body, her pull gravitated towards where that bastard hid her.

Michael grinned slightly with the mention of it, amused. “I call for celebration, Luke,” he joked lightly, though he rolled his eyes slightly with hearing Luke's words. “I hope the biggest room has mold or something all over it, in that case.” Shrugging easily, he offered an amused look as he followed Luke up the stairs. “Let's see what's all in this huge house, then.”

Mira listened quietly to the two guys talk, amused with their relationship, their friendship, her attention more easily focused on the one the other called Luke. “I'm curious about that one,” she whispered, motioning to Luke, curious about him, about the slight loneliness in his eyes. Still, she nodded. “Yeah, let's go. I don't want to be down here long.”

Luke raised his eyebrows with curiosity and amusement as Michael spoke. "Celebration? Count me in." He grinned, but he rolled his eyes as Michael mentioned mold. "Need I remind you that you're the one who picked this house?" He teased, leading Michael to the top floor, pausing as he felt it was a little colder up here. "Man, it's freezing." Luke didn't find the cold bothersome, but still, he found himself intrigued as he was pulled to the master bedroom. "C'mon."

Charlotte followed the two up the stairs, amused by the fact they had no idea she and Mira were there. Still, as the one named Luke stopped at the top of the stairs, Charlotte overtook Michael, turning to look at him, wondering. "I wonder if I could lead him to my old room." She hummed, knowing she'd left her diary there, and it had probably remained untouched.

Michael grinned, glad that Luke agreed, and he nodded. “Alright, sounds great,” he decided, though he laughed, “Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that I hope there's mold in your room.” Shrugging, he tried not to shiver with the sudden cold draft and he peered around, trying to find some vent, his brows furrowed when he couldn't find one, but he nodded as he moved to follow Luke.

Mira watched the pair quietly, following behind the taller one, feeling safe behind him despite that she was already dead. Blinking, she looked to Charlotte, thinking, and shrugged. “You can try,” she suggested, “I mean, there's no real harm in it, right?”

Charlotte listened to Mira's words, nodding, although her gaze was still firmly locked on Michael. She waited at the top of the stairs for him, and from that distance, she could smell his cologne. The further she got from where her body was hidden, the more she untensed, but there was something at Michael that put her at ease, just being around him - it was as if his whole existence was screaming out to her that he wasn't a bad person. And she believed it. Watching him closely, she stepped backwards as he reached the top, stepping on a creaky floorboard. "Uh oh," she looked to Mira with a teasing grin. "Typical haunting noises."

Luke rolled his eyes jokingly with Michael's words, although he was amused. "Oi, mold can be fixed, your crappy attitude can't." Luke teased, feeling as if someone was right behind him. Looking over his shoulder, Luke put it down to being in a strange environment that he hadn't mentally mapped out yet. The house was beautiful, but new things seemed to always throw off Luke's comfort for a few days while he adjusted. Luke's eyebrows furrowed though, but he reached the top of the stairs, admiring the view of the downstairs from the landing. "Woah," he grinned.

Mira offered an amused look to Charlotte, listening to her friend, but her attention never really strayed from Luke. “It’s kind of surreal,” she murmured quietly, “Having people living here after…. Well, everything.” She tried not to think of everything, tried not to get pulled into the memories and, to focus, her gaze went back to Luke, wishing she could speak to him, that he could see her, that he could know that she existed.

Michael rolled his eyes playfully to Luke, amused. “No crappy attitude here,” he insisted with a grin, as he walked, swearing he could still feel the cold air, but not seeing any vents or anything. Shrugging the thought aside, he peered around, certain that it felt like eyes were lingering on his every move, but he didn’t want to think too much on it, and instead followed Luke to the landing, taking in the sight. “This is pretty amazing,” he said in awe.

Charlotte looked to Mira sympathetically. Both girls had difficulty moving on, but Charlotte couldn't help herself - maybe these two could be the ones the girls so desperately needed. "I know." Charlotte promised quietly, joining Michael's side by the landing, looking down to the downstairs before looking to Michael, admiring his look of awe. Resting a hand on his shoulder, Charlotte sighed. "I wish they could connect to us somehow." Charlotte admitted. "He's beautiful. Do you think these two could be the ones?"

Luke laughed with Michael's words, shaking his head in amusement, the chill surrounding him causing a shiver to go down his spine that he quickly ignored, feeling as though every movement, every breath he inhaled and exhaled, was being monitored. "I'm glad we took this house." Luke admitted. "I really feel like we could get some good songs written here." Luke grinned, studying the downstairs with a dimpled smile, not a single thing out of place. Overlooking where Mira's body was kept, Luke exhaled happily, looking to Michael. "Pizza for dinner, mate?"

Mira blinked when she heard Charlotte, looking over with confusion and surprise. “Could be the ones to do what? To find our bodies and finally report them to the police?” she asked, arching a brow, but she sighed and looked back to the blonde man with the gorgeous blue eyes, tensing when Luke came so close to her body, but ultimately disappointed. Of course he didn’t find it, how could she hope for anything else?

Michael grinned and nodded slightly. “I’m glad we did, too. We deserve a nice place like this with everything we’ve had to deal with,” he said as he peered around a bit, enjoying the sight of it, not at all aware of the corpses hidden in the walls, Charlotte’s included. Instead, he nodded slightly. “Sure, pizz sounds good.” He looked over to Luke, grinning again, and he arched a brow. “Want me to make the call or do you wanna handle it?”
