Sabrina gave her brother a shove as they walked down along the beach. "Mark, how many times do I have to tell you I don't want a boyfriend? Please stop mocking me about being single" she argued with a loud sigh. She loved her brother, but he really got on her nerves sometimes. She hated how he was ten minutes older than her, and somehow lorded it around as if it was somehow a reason for him to be in charge of her.

"Brina, as your older brother I'm just saying, I think it would be a good idea to put yourself out there a little more" Mark told her, at this point just doing it to wind her up. He wrapped his arms around tightly around Hannah as they headed back to where they had left all of their boards earlier in the day. He smirked as he saw a message from Taven on his phone saying he would love to join them surfing for the day. He smirked as he showed the message to Hannah, knowing it might finally be their chance to get some alone time without feeling bad about leaving his Sister out.

Sabrina groaned loudly, glaring at the couple as they smirked at one another. She stormed on ahead of them, sitting down on her board in a huff. The blonde hadn't actually stepped foot in the water above her knee in almost a year and a half but yet everyday she trecked her board down to the beach with them. As she watched her brother and his girlfriend getting ready to go in the water, she pulled her camera out of her bag beginning to take some candids of them when she noticed a guygrowing closer and closer in frame in each of the photos. She glanced up from the viewfinder to see a guy she didn't recognize approaching her brother and enveloping him in a hug. She shielded her eyes from the sun as she watched them Al interact, giving a weak wave as her brother introduced them.

Mark helped Hannah get her suit done up, pulling her in to a close embrace as he finished, his hand jokingly swatting her ass until he heard his sister making wretching sounds next to them and shot her a scowl. He turned as he felt somebody tapping him on the shoulder, quickly embracing the guy in a bro hug. "Taven, this is my girlfriend Hannah, I can't remember if you two met or not, but she is awesome. And that thing over there is my baby sister" he said, sticking his tongue out at her. "you two, this is Taven. We met towards the end of last summer he comes out here vacationing every year" he explained.

Hannah walked with Sabrina and Mark as the siblings picked at each other. She held Marks, hand as she looked at the ocean. She loved Sabrina, but she also wished she had alone time with Mark. She knew he really wanted it to. She looked at the message on his phone and smiled at him. She stood there and took her shorts off. She looked over when Mark's friend apporached them. "You going to actually get in the water this time Brina?" She teased the girl. "Turns out sharks actually give your limbs back after a few days." She joked, seeing Sabrina shoot her a playfully glare. Hannah laughed as Mark pulled her close then smacked his hand away. "Marcus." She scolded him. She smiled as he introduced him to his friend. "Hey." She said, waving at him. "Alright can we go now." She said. She was always impatient about getting in the water. She looked over as Taven said he needed to get ready. "Perfect, try to get Sabrina to get in the water while your at it." She said. "Come on babe." She said to Mark before she started walking. She was so excited to go surfing. She felt like they had been so busy. She paddled out with him then sat up on her board as they waited for a wave. "You actually think this will work?" She asked. "By the way, since when do brothers get their sisters laid?" She teased him, splashing him playfully.
Taven parked his jeep at the lot near the beach then pulled his board off the rack. He walked onto the beach, looking at the ocean. He was glad he could finally spend the summer doing what he loved in the place he loved. He planned to move there one day. He walked down the beach, smirking when he found Mark. "Hey man." He said, giving him a bro hug after he set his board down. He looked over at the girl sitting that Mark told him was his sister. "Hey." He said, giving her a wave back. He chuckled when Hannah mentioned trying to get Sabrina in the water. "I'll do my best." He said. He looked at her as he got his stuff ready. "So you don't like surfing?" He asked, looking at her. He was very quick to make conversations to people. "Or you don't like your brother." He joked with her. He grabbed his board, "You coming?" He asked. He could tell she really wanted to tag along. He had to admit. She was was really good looking.

Mark grinned as Hannah playfully pushed him away, knowing that she really loved all the attention he gave her. He rolled his eyes as she took off for the water glancing back at Taven as he said he needed to get changed. "I will honestly pay you $20 if you can get her to come surfing" he said chuckling pointing at his sister "call me at 5 so I can get you to work on time" he shouted back at her before paddling out to meet Hannah, sitting up on his board confidently. He turned his head back facing in to the sun, his eyes shut tightly as he soaked in the glorious feeling. "God it's good to be back" he said happily.

He was pulled out of his daydream by the sharp splash of water that hit him. "Heyy!" He teased, splashing her back twice as bad, before paddling his bored a little closer to hers, giving her a soft kiss. "Don't make it sound like I'm pimping Brina out" he said with a laugh. "I mean, we both need some time to ourselves, and I know for a fact you feel that way too. And also, I just don't think it would hurt for her to put herself out there more. We're all going to be heading to college soon, and I want her to be able to look out for herself" he commented with a small shrug, gently placing his hand on her thigh. "mostly, I just want to get you on your own more" he teased, his voice charged with sexual energy as he leaned in a little closer getting her to lean in to him, he chuckled as he dunked her off her board in to the water quickly paddling away. "Last one to catch a wave buys tonight's beer!" He shouted back, laughing.

    ***

Sabrina watched as her brother and Hannah headed down towards the water, snapping a couple of photos of them walking together before she was interrupted by Taven. She turned to look at him sighing gently. "No I actually really enjoy surfing, and surprisingly enough I actually like my brother enough to have not murdered him yet" she said with a laugh, looking out at the waves, a hungry glint in her eye as a little part of her wanted to get back out there. She shook her head gently dragging her attention back to the guy who stood next to her. "I guess I'm just a little out of practice, maybe some other day" she said with a soft shrug as the boy began getting undressed.

She lifted her camera once again, snapping some shots of the people in the water when her attention was drawn up to Taven taking off his top. She waited a second before grabbing his attention. She watched as he smirked softly clearly thinking she was checking him out. "You're in my shot" she told him flatly, lifting the camera back up to her eye. "I think I'll sit this one out again, but thanks for the offer" she told him kindly. She had gotten used to being on the beach on her own, and made use of it for her art and photography, but every now and again she wished that somebody with just sit and chat with her.

Hannah smiled as he moved over to her and she kissed him back. She smiled against his lips then sighed, "Yea I mean don't get me wrong. I love Brina, but sometimes she is like right there all the time." She said, laughing a little. She looked at him as his hand rested on her thigh. She loved him so much. Mark was the only guy she had ever been with. She went to kiss him then gasped as he shoved her into the water. She resurfaced then went towards one of the waves. She cut him off and took the wave that came towards them. She took the wave and road it til it got close. She smiled as she stood up in the water and ran her fingers through her hair, grabbing her board. She watched as Mark caught his wave, watching him ride it in.
Taven pulled his shirt off, smirking as he caught her looking at him. "Well you could have fooled me." He teased her playfully. He grabbed his board, "Are you sure you don't want to come? Last offer." He said. He chuckled as she told him no. "Alright, your loss. There are some pretty good waves today." He said. He walked towards the water as Mark was grabbing his board. "Yea that was fail. She apparently does not like the water." He said, laughing. "What have you been up to?" He asked Mark. He knew that Mark planned to hang out with him later and he figured he would get to know his sister better then. Taven got in the water then paddled out with the two. He sat up on his board, "So why does she hate surfing?" He asked his friend.

Mark swore under his breath as she cut him off, chuckling as he sat on his board watching her. It irked him, but it was the exact reason he had fallen for her. She was never afraid to show him up. She was just a radiating beam of confidence and he loved that in her. He truly believed that there wasn't a single situation you could put Hannah in that she wouldn't make her bitch. He hopped on the next wave after she finished, following her inland and rolling his eyes at her. "I guess the beer is on me then" he teased, wrapping his arms around around her in the shallow water as he waved Taven over. He glanced to see if he had managed to drag Sabrina along butwasnt surprised when he hadn't.

"God man, nothing strange or dramatic really. Just finishing up senior year and all that fun stuff, how about you? What did you get up to when you left last year?" He asked with a smile. He shot a look over in Hannah's direction as he asked why Brina hated surfing and just very quickly gave a shrug. "Youknow what, she never really told us why she stopped, maybe you could get it out of her" he replied, knowing it wasn't an exact lie. He gave Hannah's knee a quick squeeze as she sat on her board, knowing that it wasn't their story to tell.

    ***

Sabrina rolled her eyes as he made some joke about her checking him out, watching for a short few seconds as he walked away, taking a couple of snaps as he walked down the beach. She stayed sitting on her board just soaking in the Ray's for a while before she ventured down to the water, soaking her feet in the shallows as she took some pictures of the guys surfing. She knew that Mark appreciated the action shots she got of him.

Hannah smiled as he moved over to her and put his arm around her. She kissed him softly then paddled out with them again. She sat in the water, feeling Mark's hand on her leg. She hated to leave Sabrina alone because she felt like they were ignoring her. She caught a few more waves then decided to join Sabrina on the beach. She walked to where their stuff was and set her stuff down. She laid back on her towel and put her sunglasses. She looked over as Sabrina came back. "Get any good pictures?" She asked her. She loved just spending days at the beach. She felt like during the summer that they were always at the beach and she loved it.
Taven chuckled, "Yea I may be able to work my magic." He teased his friend before he caught a wave. He smiled as he came back to the shore. He paddled back out to the water and waited for another wave. After they caught a bunch of waves they joined the girls on the beach. He sat down and looked at Taven, "So we drinking tonight?" He asked his friend. They usually did but this would be the first time Mark invited him to hang out with Sabrina and Hannah. Sabrina seemed really interested in her pictures. He thought it was cute the way she hid her face when he looked at her.

Sabrina smiled as she spotted Hannah sitting down by their stuff when she came back up the water. She threw hedslef down on the ground next to her, nodding. "yeah I got some pretty good ones today, the sun is in just the right place in the sky everything looks sorta golden and picturesque" she commented as she handed her camera over to Hannah to take a look. Glancing over her shoulder just to see what photo she was on. Slowly she lay back on her board, taking in a few days before she felt a shadow standing over her. She opened her eyes, shiledi g them from the sun as she looked up to see mark and Taven standing over her.

"The water looks good today, I got some shots of you two if you want to take a look" she offered, gesturing toward the Camera. She nodded slowly as Taven asked if they were going drinking tonight. She was slowly beginning to see what was going on with here, and Brina did not like how sneaky Hannah and her brother were being. "Yeah, I mean we do it every night" she siad a little smugly, trying to passively point out that he wasn't in on their circles.

    ***

Mark shot his sister a look of disaproval as she passed a snide remark towards Taven, frowning as he realised she might be further down the rabithole of her own isolotude than he thought. He gave a sigh, leaning in toward Hannah to take a look at all the photos as he let himself calm down before glancing over at Taven. "Yeah of course man, we usually just light a little fire out the back of our house on the beach. Cone whenever and bring anyone you wnat, my parents don't mind too much" he informed him kissing Hannah's cheek. He had always been gratefully forvhow easygoing his parents were. As long as he was honest they let him do what he wanted, hell Hannah was allowed to sleep in his bed when they were only 14. "I'm assuming you'll be there tonight?" He asked his girlfriend with a chuckle.

Hannah smiled as Mark sat beside of her and she rested her head on his shoulder as they looked at the pictures. She looked over as Sabrina said something to Taven. Clearly she had caught onto their place. She knew that she would come around though. Taven was a good looking guy and he seemed like Sabrina's type. She nodded when Mark asked if she was staying with them. "Of course." She said, looking at him. She spent almost all of her time with Mark during the summer. Her parents didn't care because they liked Mark. Hannah smiled at Mark, "Let's go for a walk." She said as she got up. She waited for him, taking his hand as they walked awya from them. She walked with him down the beach, "I think Sabrina is onto your plan." She teased him once they were far enough away from the other two.
Taven looked at Sabrina when she spoke, then looked at Mark, "Yea I have to have dinner with my parents but I will swing by after." He said. His parents liked to have dinner together the first night then usually he did his own thing. He looked out at the ocean, thinking about Sabrina. She didn't seem to like him very much. He was sure it was because she didn' t know him that well. He opened a bottle of water and took a swig of it. He watched as Mark left with Hannah and he was kind of worried. He looked over at Sabrina, "So how long have you been taking pictures?" He asked. She seemed really into it so he wanted to try to see if he could get her to talk about that.

Mark smiled brightly as Hannah said she'd be staying with them. He loved when Hannah stayed. It menat they had no limit to the time they spent together. It was never even really about sex, he just loved having her next to him in the bed, there to talk to no matter what random thought popped in to his head. He nodded as she suggested they go for a walk, taking her hand tightly as they strolled down the beach. He looked around the beach happily as they walked, glancing down at Hannah as she spoke. He chuckled kled slightly "you think so?" He asked her. Mark had known fully that brina would see through what he was up to, but he was also banking on the fact that she wasn't ballsy enough to tell somebody to leave her alone, and he thought if anyone could crack open what goes on in her head it would be Taven. "Well she'll learn some new social skills if nothing else" he commented, rolling his eyes. "So what did you want to drink tonight, my mom just text me from the store" he said to her. He always loved the first night of summer. His parents cooked a barbecue and everybody partied on the beach afterwards.

    ***

Sabrina's eyes followed her brother and Hannah a little ways down the beach as they walked away, holding her hand up over her mouth as it supported her chin while she rested her elbow on her knee. She glanced over as he spoke offering a polite smile. "Around a year now. I've always been interested in photography but I was usually doing it on shitty phone cameras.. so I saved up a ton of money last summer and bought myself a proper camera" she told him, always a little proud that she bought it herself. "It was a nice thing to have while everyone else was surfing, because there are always so many lovely things to take photos of on the beach" she commented as she handed him the camera to look at all of her photos from today, including some of him. "Just be careful not to get it Sandy" she warned him gently.

Hannah laughed a little, "Yea she was mean to him." She said. She thought about what she wanted when he asked about what drink she wanted. "Ooo..tell her to get a bottle of Fireball." She said. She wanted to get a little drunk and have fun. She walked with him, "I can't wait for tonight." She said as she walked with him. She looked at the ocean, letting go of his hand so he could text his mom back. Hannah was always happy when she was with Mark. She smiled at him when he looked at her then hugged him. "I love you." She said, looking up at him before she kissed him softly as they stood there. She ran her hands up his back, "We should go to the pier tomorrow." She said. She knew that he loved going there and they had the best ice cream. She took his hand and started back towards Sabrina and Taven. They had walked pretty far away so they had some time.
Taven smiled as she offered him the camera, "Alright." He said, looking through some of her pictures. She was really good at taking pictures, "These are all really good." He said, looking at her. He offered the camera back to her. "So, why don't you like going out in the water?" He asked. "Clearly you use to surf at some point." He said, motioning to her board. "But from the looks of it that board hasn't touched the water in about a year." He said, chuckling. He could tell she wanted to be in the water. He couldn't imagine his life without being in the water. When he wasn't at the beach he was thinking about going to the beach. It was the place that made him happy.

Mark shook his head, laughing softly "I mean, that could also just be brina being a bitch" he commented, shoving his phone back in his pocket once he finished texting his mom. He took her hand tightly continuing to walk, becoming fed up of discussing his sister. "Anyway...yes. tonight is going to be great" he said kissing her, his hands gently holding her hips. They slowly wrapped around her tighter, pulling her in to a close hug. "I love you too baby" he whispered, looking out at the sea over her shoulder just wanting to have her to himself for a while. "Yeah the Pier sounds great, but maybe in the late afternoon, I want yo get another surf in too" he said, gently pulling out of the hug and beginning to walk back towards their boards. As he thought about going back, he started to realise just how frustrated he was getting with Sabrina being around the whole time. He sighed softly and sat down in the sand lookingupat her. "Let's just sit for a while and talk, we haven't done that in so long" he told her.

    ***
Sabrina smiled softly as she watched him looking through her photos, putting the camera back in her bag carefully as he finished. "Thank you,qit took a while to find my style" she said gently, her cheeks flushing softly when she realised just how pretentious she sounded. She laughed softly, running her fingers in to her hair."sorry... I work in the gallery part time, you just pick up these phrases" she told him, running her hands over her face. She pulled her knees a little closer to her chest as she sat on her board biting on her lip gently. "I guess I just don't want to get my hair wet" she lied easily, given it wasn't a full lie- if her head goes under the water she would freak. Even if the water in the shower runs over her face for too long she starts to feel panicky. "I guess when you live here surfing everyday gets a little tedious" she lied again.

Hannah looked down at him as he sat down, "Okay." She said as she sat with him. She looked out at the ocean as they sat there. She looped her arm with his and rested her head on his shoulder. "What all do you think your parents will make to eat tonight?" She asked him softly. Hannah usually was very soft spoken with Mark. She didn't yell at him unless it was in a playtul manner and they barely ever fought. She thought about how some of her friends were with their boyfriends and she was glad that she didn't have that problem. She looked at Mark and smiled as he looked at her. She reached over and wiped a way a little bit of sand that was on his cheek from being in the water.

    ---

Taven looked at her as she explained but he could tell she was lying from her body language. "Well, one day before I leave you need to yet in with us." He said. He really wanted to know why she seemed so scared of the ocean. He knew a lot of people had a fear but he couldn't believe she did. She seemed to enjoy being at the beach. "What gallary do you work at?" He asked as he changed the subject. He didn't want to keep talking about the aore subject with her.

Mark smiled at his girlfriend as he placed a gentle kiss on her head. "The usual I guess, burgers, hotdogs some chicken skewers.. you want anything in particular?" He asked her kindly as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder looking out over the water as several surfers caught the last couple of waves before sunset. "What's your plan come September?" He asked her gently, he knew she had received her acceptance letters weeks ago, but he had been avoiding the subject altogether. He just wanted her to follow her dreams and not be influenced by him. He knew they were strong enough to to last any distance.

Sabrina nodded gently, tracing her finger up and down her leg absentmindedly. "Yeah sure, at some stage" she agreed politely, straightening up as he asked about her work. "I work at the main one just off the pier, I help with tours and the kids art classes and things, I actually really enjoy it" she told him with a bright smile, surprised that he took the interest to ask her about on it it. "What about you, do you have a job or anything?" She asked.

Hannah shook her head when he asked if she wanted anything special. "No, I was just curious." She said. She bit her bottom lip lightly when he asked about what she was doing in September. "I don't know yet. I am still thinking about that." She said. "You can choose for me right?" She teased him, laughing a little. She knew she would have to pick eventually and she really didn't want to he extremely far away from him. She was so use to seeing him whenever she wanted to. She smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder.

    --

Taven shook his head, "No, I have just been focusing on school and i leave for college in September." He explained. Honestly, he wanted to travel after school, but his parents wanted him to do something else. He looked at the ocean then looked at her. "What about you? What do you plan to do after the summer?" He asked. He was glad to see she was happy.

Mark chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around her as he kissed his head. "You know my views on it Han, I want you to make this decision for you not based around me" he said softly, kissing her head gently again. "You adre the one with brains after all" he teased softly, running his thumb over the back of her hand. He didn't like to think about the fact they could be apart from each other, but he would never want to be the reason she didn't go for what she wanted, that never works out well in the long run. "Let's not worry too much yet, we have a whole long summer to enjoy together" he whispered, get tly kissing the back of her neck.

    ***

Sabrina nodded softly, picking up snad in her palm and letting it slowly trickle back on to the ground through her fingers as she glanced over at him. "I don't really know what I want" she commented, her blonded hair blowing in the wind as she shrugged. "there's nothing Ireally want to study right now, but I'd maybe like to get out of here for a little while, see a different part of the world" she said, shaking the sand out of her hands as she pulled her hair back in to a ponytail, glancing down the beach wondering where Mark and Hannah had gone.

Hannah smiled as he kissed her neck, "Exactly, let's not think about that." She said as she looked at the ocean. She knew she would have to choose eventually but she didn't want to in the moment. She looked at him then kissed him softly as she held his hand. She loved Mark so much and he always put her first. She knew she needed to do the same for him. After sitting there for awhile she got up and dusted the sand off of her. "Come on before your sister hurts Taven's feelings." She teased him. She took his hand and walked with him towards the other two.

Taven nodded, "Yea traveling does sound more appealing than school." He said. He looked at her as she put her hair up. He was surprised that Mark had been gone so long. He was glad when he got back. "Where the hell did you walk to? The other end of the beach." He teased his friend. He got up and grabbed some of his stuff

Mark shook his head with a small laugh standing up, pulling her out of the sand. "Who would have thought such a small girl could have such a ferocious bit when she wanted to?" He joked about his sister, still keeping the pace slow as they walked back to the the boards, Hannah's hand held tightly in his the whole time. They had only beentogether two years, but it felt like a lifetime. They had been through so much together that it felt like nothing would ever separate them. He laughed softly as Taven teased him, seeing the relief wash over his face that they had returned. "I hope she wasn't too hard on you" Mark teased, ruffling his sisters hair as he began grabbing his stuff, picking up Hannah's board for her too.

Sabrina nodded at him, a warm smile drawing over her lips. She sat in a little closer to talk to him just as he jumped up and she realised Hannah and her brother were back. She frowned slightly, had she really just been letting him win her over...nah ah, not going to happen.she sighed softly tossing her stiff in to her bag as she glanced at her watch. "For God sake Mark, why did you take so long on your walk? Get your stuff quickly or I'm going to be late for work" she argued guickly.

Hannah smiled as Mark grabbed their things. She grabbed her bag then looked over as Taven said he would see them later. "Alright, bye." She told him, giving him a small wave. She walked with Mark and Sabrina. "You know i can help you carry something babe." She said to Mark. Hannah helped him put the stuff on the jeep then climbed into the passenger seat. She looked back at Sabrina "So, Did you like him?" She asked her about Taven. She knew that deep down Sabrina wanted someone to be with.

Taven chuckled as he gathered his things. "She was great. really." He teased. "I will catch you all later." He said. He waved at them then head back to his vehicle. He was excited for that night, but he knew he had to eat with his family. Taven drove back to his beach house then got out of his jeep and walked into the house. He was hoping to get closer to Sabrina.

Sabrina waved quickly as heleft before climbing in to the back seat of her brothers jeep as she let Mark load her stuff, he got anal about anybody else loading his Jeep. She glanced up at Hannah as he asked her about Taven. "He fine" she answered quickly, before sticking her head out the window and looking back at her brother. "Mark come on, I'm late!" She shouted at him before sitting back down, crossing her arms over her chest.

Mark sat in to the Jeep starting it up. "Maybe of you learned how to drive you wouldn't have this issue" he snapped back at his sister, glaring at her I the mirror. He knew Hannah was used to their bickering at this point. He dropped her outside the gallery with a sigh and shook his head as he quickly calmed down. "I'll pick you up at 7" he called out to her before pulling away, resting his hand on Hannah's knee. "God I'm actually starving, I hope the food is on" he told her
