Sadie sat, cross-legged on her bed, with her laptop neatly placed on her legs, her headphones over her head as she toyed with her lower lip, playing an online game. "Oh, come on!" She frowned as a new character spawned right between her and the boss. "Move out of the way, I've nearly got him!" She spoke, knowing her microphone was connected and that the new player could hear her - although reading the username, she couldn't say it was a name she recognised - Sadie was familiar, and good friends with, almost everyone who came into the game.

To say that Luke was bored was an understatement. Friday nights weren't always the most entertaining of times, especially now because Michael was still reeling over a break-up, Calum was on vacation, and Ashton was off doing God knows what, so Luke figured that he could venture onto his X-Box for the first time in a long time. The poor thing had remained neglected since Luke left for (and came back from) tour, but what the hell? He could always use a fake username so no one would recognise him.

Michael hadn't really had a plan when he'd started his day; he was taking the chance to relax while he could, wanting to enjoy the time off he'd had. It brought him to his game system and he'd gone ahead to log in to play one of the games; he hadn't been on in ages, because of how busy things had been. He made a face, though, with the greeting he was given. “Sorry,” he mentioned into the microphone, “You could at least say please, though.” Amused, though, he moved the character out of the way.

Taegan made her way into her room, prepared for a day of gaming, snacks and all. It was her first day off from work in a while and she wanted to take the chance to relax while she could. Setting her snacks and drinks down, she turned on her X-Box and logged onto her taetertot account, getting her headset and everything else ready. “Alright, let's do this,” she said with a small grin as she logged into one of her favorite games to get started.

Sadie laughed with Michael's words, unable to stop herself. "Sorry, but when you get in front of a killshot like that, you deserve what's coming." She teased, hoping he was picking up on it and he didn't think she was a huge bitch. "Thank you for moving, though, you're the best." She smiled, the stranger's voice possibly the best thing she'd ever heard. "You new here? I haven't seen you around before." She offered a better introduction to herself. "I'm Sadie."

Luke logged into his personal account, lukey_x, figuring that no one would ever figure out it was him anyway. There were plenty of people in the world called Luke. Logging into his usual game, Luke smiled as Petunia settled beside him, scratching her head gently before letting his character walk through a forest, wondering what enemy would be lurking among the trees, biting his lip as he began to concentrate. This game had always been so tense, Luke loved it.

Michael scoffed with amusement, though he grinned slightly. “Maybe your killshots just suck,” he offered back easiliy, his amusement obvious in his tone, though he listened to her, surprisingly enjoying the sound of her voice, the interaction between them. “Kind of. I used to play a lot, but things got busy - I only really get to play during down time and I don’t get much of that.” He smiled, though. “It’s great to meet you, Sadie. I’m Michael.”

Taegan cursed quietly as she was playing, trying to get through the forest in the game, though she kept running into enemies - mostly creatures, but sometimes asshole players who were determined to try to kill her. She’d been attacking another enemy when she saw a player nearby and arched a brow. “Somebody’s being careful,” she joked lightly in the in-game voice chat, since the character was only walking, instead of the usual running.

Sadie smiled to herself as she picked up on Michael's amusement, but as he insulted her killshots, Sadie offered a gasp of feigned offence. "Oi!" Sadie laughed, shaking her head. "Watch it, bucko." She teased, finding that Michael's voice was melodic in the most wonderful way. "Well, in that case, Michael, I hope you enjoy your downtime, and it's really great to meet you." Sadie smiled. "You up for a multiplayer?"

Hearing a sweet voice come through his headset, Luke had to remind himself that it wasn't an angel reaching out to him, but rather, a girl in the game speaking to him via the in game chat. "I'm a very cautious player." Luke laughed. "It's my first time playing in a while, and the last thing I want is to die as soon as I entered." Luke teased. "But you're a bad ass, please protect me." Luke laughed, unable to stop himself because the girl already had his attention in a way he wasn't used to.

Michael grinned slightly. “Sorry, sorry, I’m just teasing,” he assured her, enjoying the sound of her voice, and he found himself wondering what she looked like in real life. He chewed on his lip with the thought. “Yeah, I’m definitely up for a multiplayer as long as you are.”

Taegan laughed as she listened to Luke and she nodded slightly. “Alright, alright, I’ll show you the ropes and protect your ass,” she teased lightly in response as she continued to play the game. “Come on, then, keep up. The last thing you need is to get separated.”
