Roxanne looked up as she heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it," she reassured her mother, heading to the front door as their pitbull, Tilly, barked excitedly. "Shh, Till." She murmured, scratching behind the dog's ear happily. Opening the door, Roxanne smiled at the pair before her, having never met either of them before, but having heard so much that she could probably write a book about each of them. "Hiya," she greeted with a smile. "You must be the Clifford's, come in." She moved out of the way. "I'm Roxanne, Olive's daughter." She studied George as he was the first to step in, although her gaze soon fell on the boy that followed. Dammit, he was gorgeous, but he looked like he'd rather be anywhere else but there. She offered him a smile, shutting the front door before Tilly could run out.
"Want me to get it?" Luke offered as he heard a knock on the door. He was curious about Julie, because this woman had held such a large place in Luke's father's heart, Luke couldn't help but feel a little jealous. Luke's mother had walked out on them when Luke was younger - she'd even had more children, a new husband, and Luke found himself resentful because he knew just how hard it hit himself and his father, and it had been the both of them for the longest time. Still, he'd grin and bear it, for his father's sake. Opening the door, Luke smiled. "Hi," he nodded. "You must be Julie." He greeted, his gaze drifting to Aimee, and he blinked in surprise for a moment. She was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, but was he allowed to express that? "Uh, please, come in." He moved out of the way. "I'm Luke."
